Thank you very much for a nice job.
It is posts like this that enrich the minds of readers.

It is more preferable to ridiculous efforts like "Caption this picture of xyz going to the toilet," or " Miss bla-bla stuns in ....," whatever she is putting on.
Posts like these are no brainers and constitute a waste internet data.

In fact, what do you even know about geo-physics ?

Sometimes it would be better to observe things or just carry out a little research.

This issue was brought before the courts in Italy (ENI is Italian) with various fines and punitive measures taken by "foreign courts" against their own.

533 Million pounds was found to have been paid to Nigerian "Big Men" who helped secure the fraudulent sale.

As usual, the country was shortchanged and ridiculed as the field is estimated to hold about 9 billion barrels of oil.

I know you would love to make Buhari out as evil yet, even foreign governments have found the two oil companies complicit in such monumental fraud.

Well I have seen the direction this government is towing. It reminds me of a controversial statement made by a sovereign member of the northern oligarch, stressing the need for an under carpet conspiracy to be held onto by the region, in order to remain in power.

Dan Etete is the only southerner who can boast of absolute control of OPL 245 and probably the only southerner to be awarded an oil well. As it is now, the oil block where corrupt practises on a large scale has been identified is that of Ettete...

As if we Nigerians dont know the high wired level of corruption going on at par in Northern owned oil blocs. Dan Etete connections with GEJ worsens the matter.

I am surprised at all...the vendetta is on course and the mission is to revoke all the favours and financial empowerment Gej granted his men and the region.....

they want to continue to make us leeches....so that we have no option but to continually look unto abuja and its brothers for help.....in so doing they continue to remain in power transferring it to their kids. . ..

Dangote and his northern brothers and co oil thieves in the west can remain saints in as much as their sovereign control of Nigeria over the rest is intact.

It is just a matter of time.....how long can they clip our wings....until a man is born!

Before you go too far in this ethnic-oriented delusion, Dan Etete as a former minister of Petroleum, awarded OPL 245 to himself.

1. Where did you get the information that Shell (Shell BP in Nigeria?) are shutting down production? Some of you just say rubbish.
2. can you supply any information or evidence where the quote was reported? "shell BP is shutting down their production due to unfavorable economic condition and the present administration`s lack of direction"

Fashola meets with local meter manufacturers 0
BY EDITOR ON JAN 5, 2016 POWER
The Minister of Power, Works and Housing, Mr. Babatunde Fashola (SAN) yesterday met with the local manufacturers of pre-paid meters in Abuja to address the problems of estimated billing and electricity theft, Daily Independent reports.

The meeting, according to a statement by the Director of Press, Ministry of Power, Mr. Timothy Oyedeji, was to re-focus attention on the need to rapidly roll-out meters in order to ensure that Distribution Companies (DISCOs) charge electricity consumers only for energy they consume.

Speaking at the meeting, representative of the local manufacturers, Engr. Kola Balogun, said that access to and cost of credit is a major impediment to the growth of their production capacity in meeting present and future demand for meters. He assured the minister of their readiness to support the rapid roll out of meters, but expressed concerns over government’s readiness to put in place clearer incentives for local production as opposed to importation of meters.
I am even skeptical to celebrate this as a concrete achievement. There are local manufacturers of Pre-paid meters, and if only to encourage locals, why are the AKSG bringing in the Chinese

Nah nah, it is mainly a sedimentary basin, which borders a basement rock. The basement rock which produces oil is a fractured basement rock. Geologically, oil cannot be found in Basement rocks except when there's a fracture in it. It can be likened to groundwater in basement rocks. Basement are not porous and permeable, so they cannot retain oil, gas and water, except if they are fractured. There are examples of them all around the world(fractured basement, reservoirs).

All they have found is Gas shows( Gas show----Gas that rises to the surface, usually detected because it reduces the density of the drilling mud. Gas detectors, which the mud logger monitors, measure combustible gases (methane, ethane, butane and others). The mud logger reports total gas, individual gas components, or both, on the mud log. In extreme cases, gas visibly bubbles out of the mud as it returns to the surface. Because the mud does not circulate to the surface for a considerable time, sometimes lagging several hours after a formation is drilled, a gas show may be representative of what happened in the wellbore hours (or many feet) prior to the ) no one has discovered oil in the Borno Basin which is our own part of the Chad Basin. Geologically two reasons are given :

1 Nigeria is far from the depocenter of Chad Basin.

2 The intrusion of the Jurassic Younger Granite has has gasified any oil that might have been available there.

The price of a barrel of oil is now $28, the cost of production of one barrel is about $20, there is a differential of about $8. Assuming Nigeria produces and is able to sell 2m barrels per day, we have 16million dollars per day as revenue. There are 170 million of us, which means theoretically each of us will get (16,000,000/170,000,000) = 0.094 dollars for each person.

0.094*305= N28.67 for every Nigerian/day.

This of course is very rudimentary economics, the aim nonetheless is to show the dire straits that will be driven home to Nigerians shortly.

And this was Tinubu's doing right?? Y'all need ya brain checked
My lady,

Like it or not it was Tinubu's doing. It was the foundation laid by Tinubu. Lagos Bar Beach, had so encroached into Ahmadu Bello way, cutting a dual carriage way into half, due to Ocean surge. When Tinubu started works thru a South African consortium then, the OBJ FG, stopped him initially. Ogunlewe, who was the minister of works, decieved OBJ and accussed Tinubu of seeding our bothers to foreigners. The FG called Julius Berger and sand-filled the whole of Bar-Beach(a wrong approach). Over 4billion naira was spent on that project. In less than 15 months the whole sand-filling effort was rubbished by the ocean again. When OBJ realised he was decieved, he directed that FG should hand over the project back to Lagos State government. Tinubu even extracted a promise from OBJ, that the project will not be hijacked or subverted by the FG in the future, to which OBJ obliged.

Tinubu now took over the project, called in the SA engineering firm, who successfully arrested the ocean surge and "diverted" the water further down Ibeju Lekki. Tinubu had come up with a proposal of a new city on the reclaimed beach. To ascert their prediction, the South African consortium offered to build a Five-star hotel on the claimed land.....

Fashola came in and continue where Tinubu stopped.......... see a story of the details below

Lagos Blames Ogunlewe for Bar Beach Surge

For allegedly sitting on a presidential directive to hand over the bar beach to Lagos State, Minister of Works, Senator Adeseye Ogunlewe, was yesterday blamed by the Tinubu Administration for the recurrent ocean surge on Victoria Island.
By Shaka Momodu, 05.05.2005

The heavy down pour in the metropolis on Tuesday created a massive flood in Victoria Island. The ocean surge pushed the sand barrier onto the road effectively cutting off one lane of Ahmadu Bello way. Motorists were forced to use only one lane of the dual carriage way causing massive traffic on Wednesday morning.
Consequently, Lagos State sent an urgent message to President Olusegun Obasanjo to take direct control of the matter by implementing the directive he issued in July last year to pave way for the investor to start work on the project.
Citing a directive issued by the President to the minister on July 12, 2004, asking the minister to come to a formal agreement or arrangement to hand over the bar beach to the state government, Lagos said Ogunlewe has deliberately frustrated the execution of this directive because of his political ambition.
Lagos spoke through a delegation of the state commissioners including Dele Alake (Information & Strategy), Rauf Aregbesola (Works & Infrastructure), Akeem Gbajabiamila (Physical Planning) and Managing Director of Lagos State Waterfront and Tourism Corporation, Engr. Segun Oniru.
The state government said the annual ritual of pouring sand into the ocean and wasting lots of taxpayer’s money preferred by the minister will not lead to a permanent solution to the problem.
It said the step taken by the state government is in line with the policy of Federal Government of attracting foreign direct investment as Messers Energy BV International will rehabilitate the bar beach at no cost to the state or federal government.
Explaining the origin of the problem, Aregbesola said it was due to man-made incursion into the beach between 1908 and 1912 to provide a deep berth for vessels seeking to enter the Lagos harbour. This, he said, led to the building of the east and west moles.
Gbajabiamila, in a statement read at a press conference, said the investors have found a solution to the problem, saying “the problem will be solved by the construction of a two kilometer long permeable groynes east of the east mole plus a managed beach replenishment programme.”
Noting that Lagos State government initially reached an agreement with another firm, Entech, which required $100 million funding and entailed counterparts funding by the state and federal governments, Gbajabiamila said the failure of the initial deal led the state government to search for other interested consultants and that the search produced the new consultant.
He said the new consultant/investor is ready to mobilize funds independently for the project on the condition that Federal Government provides gurantee that no federal agency would disturb the project once it takes off. It was the need to secure this understanding that made the state Governor, Bola Almed Tinubu, wrote the President on July 7, 2004 asking for the endorsement of the project.
In his remarks, Information and Strategy Commissioner, said the directive issued to Ogunlewe by the President shows that Obasanjo has swung his support for the project and was determined to facilitate the take-off of the project..
Alake said Ogunlewe is worried that the implementation of the Lagos State initiative would put an end to the recurrent ocean waves and thus cease to provide a yearly opportunity for easy money for the boys.
Earlier in the morning, a powerful delegation of the state Executive Council, led by the Deputy Governor, Chief Femi Pedro had visited the scene of the flooded Bar Beach area caused by a tidal wave on Monday morning.

Why is the fg refusing to have an open trial on Dasuki but is quick to run to the media with mischievious allegations aimed at denigrating his image? Why won't they try him openly and let us all know how the yams were shared and consider if punishments meted out to the guilty parties are at variance with the provisions of the law?
Hypocrisy!

Tinubu, Fashola, Amaechi, Aregberascal, Audu Ogbeh, Atiku, Obasanjo, Rochas, just to mention a few were part of the opposition that brought about the change in power. Don't a lot of these men have indictments and civil and criminal cases against them and what was it you said about moral compass again and looting of treasury?

My fri3nd separate sentiments from constitutionality and legality. You personal conviction is just that...personal. It has little bearing on what is the law. Are these men accused regardless of party affiliations being given a fair opportunity at proving their innocence as they claim? No!

I unlike you, will not pronounce them guilty until they have been fairly tried. I do not have any affiliation with any of them, neither do I trust anybody but God. Go back and read my very first comment on this thread and compare with all the balderash you have been spewing here. This will be my last response to you, it is pointless engaging your type as your sense of fair reasoning takes flight in deferrence to emotions. To each his own. Shallom brother!
1. You sure said a lot here but hardly making sense. You're just struggling at what's dead on arrival.

2. On Tafa Balogun, how then was he manhandled? Is there any other thing in the public domain that you only know? I thought you will be more concerned with the substance that the chaff you're throwing up. I ask again, did the court find Tafa innocent? Wasn't Tafa jailed at the end of the day for illicitly enriching himself? What manhandling are you then talking about? I said it earlier on, your sense of morals is nonexistent.

3. Why is the not trying Dasuki in the open? Typical lame duck question. Dasuki's case bothers on security and FG reserves the right to assess the situation and check the security implications, if it deems if unsafe to try him in the open....for instance, the FG has stated that all prosecution witnesses will have to put on mask to protect their identity. But what's not surprising to me is that you throw some questions from a shallow Base. Is it going to make Dasuki's case any better if he's tried @
Eagle's Square? He's he going to attempt to swallow all the previous statements he's made like Metuh?

4. Cheap referring to Tinubu, Amechi, Fashola and Co. If any of you have any evidence against them why are you not in court? Why are you crying out to the same media you accused of undue influence? Tell you pseudo (and wanna be )opposition , to at least muster all forces and Sue a Fashola. Tinubu was takenot to ICPC and the case was thrown out. Test your mettle in court.

5. Sentiments? Call.it what you like, but the burden of proof are on these men to show that they are innocent. A situation where those that shared in Dasuki's largesse are confessing; some returning Dasuki doled out to them......or is it Metuh that gave a statement and tore inot attempt to consume it. Or his claim of a special assignment for Jonathan cost 400m+, yet the nature and details of that assignment is yet to be revealed.
