djon78:1. Bros I know you're a GEJ man, but we go skull......pls come down from all these "complications" you've done up there and come specifc 2. You know what? you lost me from your first line "having read what Buhari said........"I dare ask, where did you read it? from NL? if yes then, you started from a false premise 3. The use of the phrase "the average northerner is focused on oil and largess from the govt....." blablabla....you see, this is the reason why you create enmity between you folks and northerners. You come in with baseless assumptions, that are in itself arrogant and self serving. A Northerner ran CBN of late and brought sanity to all the rot the predecessor southerner covered up. A northerner sat as head of BPE and oversaw the successful privatization of many of these industries... 4. Please don't complicate what his basic and try to sell it as complex. There is nothing "dynamics" "global economics" "oil prices" mumbo jumbo you put up there and they mean absolutely nothing. I can understand the lies you Jonathanians tell your folks, Agric Revolution, Automotive Policy and Power Policy...all charade. You're just throwing words around - Dynamic era, dispensation, economy etc Ps: which dynamics of Jonathan Mumbo-Jumbo, pls tell we which state apart from Lagos is able to survive without monthly oil rent |
majekdom2:Bros, Abeg stop arguing on this with the upstart. Don't you see that for him to question the reference to "state", depicts his level of knowledge (albeit intelligence).... |
BackDatAssUp:Totally false...... Pls show me proof, that "doing investigative journalism was a crime" during Buhari's regime.......... mind you I was a full grown boy during Buhari's time..... .....I am waiting....... |
...honestly I would have told you to bugger off! as it seems you need to return to your slate. If you don't understand the use of "state" in the context, then what are you doing on this discourse....... unfortunately for you, yes, you can talk about Countries as state entities in context, as the extent of the coverage, so when he said state funds, he was talking about the country..... meanwhile, why don't you concentrate on passing o'levels; a level if you've passed, would need to be re-evaluated. Scout60: |
Bros.. pls face your "markate", your use of English here is worse than BH ![]() nacosprof: |
major466:1. I would have advised you both to go back to the interview on youtube, but that may be needless. It seem you both are either unreasonable and indiscernible or GEJ apologists 2. I think he put the question in a perspective and decided to operate from the perspective. His first reply to the question was to make reference to his military career and his rise through the rank, which had nothing to do with his religion or religious disposition. 3. He was also of the position that he's entitled to his religion, his beliefs and the right to practice the religion of his choosing and if such is infuriating people (like you both) then he simply cannot do anything about that. 4. He make mention of his worries on this and as to how people are using it as political tool to attack him. He further put people like you both to task and come out with instances that makes him a religious bigot now I think these answers are apt. GMB did not want the trend of the interview to drift much on this, so he gave his answers out concisely. |
some of you got out of schools that should be ashamed of you...... He's talking about the Nigerian state in context... Scout60: |
tit:Madam, Your needless raving and ranting on the underlined which are at best spurious, ridiculous and senseless....that aside, I think you may need to check the logic of the argument you put forward 1. Buhari rather placed corruption in the heart of the Nigerian system and not solely at the military alone. 2. Yes, if the military is corrupt, then it's needs cleanup. Your espirit-de-corps postulation is arrant nonsense and should not be traded for corruption and wanton decadence of security and economy 3. Funnily enough GMB actually stated that the military government had not been as corrupt as the civilian government we've had since 1999. He right put back to the Channels guy that it was only Abacha's name that was mentioned in monies stolen, not Murtala Mohammed's, Gowon's, OBJ's nor His 4. If you think GEJ has labored to build anything military-wise, then it's either your living in delusion or you don't understand the polity |
mikeansy:1. First off, go watch the interview before you comment. It is wiser that way 2. Market forces do not determine international oil prices, it's much more complicated than that. Market forces plays just a little part, there are power block, OPEC, America, Communists (Russia, Soviet, China etc.) Alignments and Diplomacy, etc. The recent drop in price was not triggered by any market force, but Saudi Arabia. SA is playing a move to discourage USA from flooding the market with Shale Oil and Gas. Once shale oil gets into the market the hold of the OPEC block is further lost. 4. What is market force in a product with less than $10 production cost yet sells for $75 and climbes to as much as almost $200 sometimes. 5. Why do you think countries like America have been so firm on Anti-trust laws right from the days of the Rockefeller group...... |
eaglechild:Unfortunately, you are just getting delirious and ridiculous over nothing 1. Let me hazard a guess, that you were yet to be born in 1983...........and yes, if given the chance, Nigerians will support Buhari to topple Shagari's government many times over. 2. On the Muslim-Muslim ticket, your lack of tact and wisdom is even embarrassing. Thank God the interview is on youtube. First off, no smart contestant will let our his arsenal early on. Secondly who told you a Muslim-Muslim ticket is forbidden? thirdly Buhari simply said he will subject his position to the party andlet the supremacy of the party reign. I dare ask, what more do you need from a democrat. Do you want him to behave like a FFK that have let his lack of wisdom throw him into irrelevance? 3. How ill you tackle insurgency? -My brother, it seems you hear with your feet and think through your butt or something.... GMB was well articulate on the fight against insurgency. First he found it unbelievable that with our experience dating back to civil war,(and I dare add, Liberia, Congo, Sudan, etc) we are on the receiving end of the BH insurgency. He told us that the first thing he expected GEJ government to have done was what they left late - Call all presidents of boarder countries, come up with a plan to stop Boko Haram from accessing weapons, funding and jointly rout them. He even went on to state that these countries do know the strength of Nigerian Army. Then he question why would Nigeria go borrowing a billion to under the guise of fighting insurgency (that the whole world finds absurd as well) when Gowon fought a civil war not borrowing a dime. Conventional logic tells you, you don't go borrowing to fight a war. 4. My brother, it is you that don't know zilch about economy. I think it's high time some of you upstarts understand that the economy is way beyond your O'levels stuffs which you don't even understand. The question is not about how will he diversify the economy. The question simply asks how will he address the economy. Needless to surmise that there are no hard and fast rule in answers to questions like this but on the dexterity of bringing your analysis to convince your audience. GMB's answer was apt. First off, we need to address that industry that brings over 90% of our revenue and put sanity in it. We need to plug leakages, rid it of corruption and get it as a tool to stebilize the nation. The other industries are far behind and its the proceeds from a sanitized oil industry that will be used to fix the others......now for me whether this answer can be faulted or not is another issue, but your lack of understanding of the context is more embarrassing. I'd dare add that you need to humble yourself, and understand that you're lacking a lot |
Results have been announced in the radio - Ambode announced winner |
...but let me applaud you for stating what you seemingly can never be...... don't worry about me, my value's worth is not for your comprehension...... ichidodo: |
Let me give you an assignment......check all my posts and ask yourself how many years it will take you to climb that height of reasoning...... ichidodo: |
CFCfan:Sure, that will only happen if one's tribe does not matter at all things and not election alone. Our needless support for tribe as against truth, integrity and candour makes what you propose as gazillion years away |
ichidodo:From you? haaa bros fear God. I know it's freedom of speech, but you should avoid some words that are anathema to your character |
...and when did you come to a point to understand polish? ichidodo: |
This is one of the biggest statements Lagos State is sending to the world. Primaries in the open and transparent... |
Okoji ko, Okorosun ni ichidodo: |
Fashola's a big statement. Others like Yemi Osinbajo, Muiz Banire, Ben Akabueze, Aregbesola, Tunji Bello, Dele Alake, the list goes on and on ilugunboy: |
well, I concede I can't decipher..... I speak real not cryptography... All you said still boils down to the same issue, Ambode vigorously campaigned more than the others. The only person that comes close in terms of campaign is Hamzat, not even Shasore... AniTech: |
Bros Chimezie250, 1. Naturally such posts will be ignored. But since it's humor, it's begets humor 2. I think we should continue to show intellectual capacity to engage in credible discuss, regardless of our divide.....but much more, let's know people by the quality of their contribution on the forum. A worn out joke like that, in itself shows intellectual deficit....... Chimezie250: |
My brother stop saying what you don't know. Ambode has campaigned much more than others in my own opinion. Ambode even invited the public to his series of "FTF Leadership Series with Akinwunmi Ambode". The problem with most folks is that, we all regurgitate false/wrong information. If Ambode wins today, we should watch out for him during series of gubernatorial debates. AniTech: |
ckmayoca:My brother, Truth dat. It's just that sometimes we need to humor ourselves with some the buffoonery some of these bigots exhibit. I tot I should help the educated illiterate. |
Haba he pain you? Let me add another.........politics and economy is different from China and containers himkers: |
..the same Tinubu that gave his Senatorial slot to Ganiu Solomon....... terryskender: |
himkers:1. Ok, the stupidity of your lines above, which I won't dignify with the word threat, aside 2. Please go ahead and cripple the economy, but while you're at it can I define to you what economy is not......so as not to waste your energy 3 Economy is wey much more than.."I dey go my broda shop, go sell markate" |
@all 1. Except we have short memories, the story is 8years old, widely published in the papers and if my memory serves me right, that was what destroyed Femi's first marriage...a complicated mess back then.....I think Gbenga Adeyinka was mentioned in the mix 2. we're witnessing the collective decadence of our corporate intelligence, the morass journalism has sunk into, the shallowness of many bloggers and the tastelessness of consumers. How can we deem a recycled eight year old story as authentic. 3. It's either Femi and his Chocolate City management crew are magnanimously forgiving or Nigerian legal system as usual is still a dry bone. I mean some media outfit should have gone under |
Madam, Of all the nonsense I've read on this thread, yours I find most upsetting. So becos Ko nse gbogbo aso la nsa lorun, your tacit approval of bastard children should stand? Husband should just take bastard children because "those innocent kids grew up to know him as their dad?....." Please, what is evil is evil. Any woman to ba gbomoba f'osun, can kill. Any woman that does that deserves to be fled from...... MrsDaramola: |
modelmike7:Yes..... ...from some media account...." 1. PEJ slapped protocol Officer - http://.com/post/3731/huffington-post-reports-nigeria-s-first-lady-in-outrage-over-missed-trip-to-washington-d-c 2. ..was she not the one that as Bayelsa's deputy governor's wife slapped a woman motorist that crashed into her convoy ![]() |
ofiafuluego:who is this insect.... |

Also, how could he reveal such issue in public? Omo anikulapo should have known that 'ko ki n se gbo gbo aso ni a n sa si orun'. Those innocent kids grew up to know him as their dad. What would become of the affection and love that they lived to share together? It's well! This is a big lesson for everyone of us. Good day!
