Congratulations!!! It definitely ended in praise deeozi: I have been a silent reader.
I got my PPR on 22/4/21.
My timeline is as follow Submitted application: October 2 NSE request: Nov 17 but I ignored it. Medical request: Did upfront medical on January 7th, Had slight delay in uploading the medical slip then medical request came in January 14. So I used the upfront medical. Got AIP: January 21. The wait began: the longest wait of my life because I was told to go for extra test which is after 90 days. Did the second test (x-ray and sputum test) in April 8. Medical passed in April 14. Correspondence letter in April 21. PPR : April 22nd.
Present situation: Yet to submit my passport because I have less than 6months and Nigeria immigration are not kind enough because i applied for new passport since March 12 and I'm yet I'm recieve the passport. The love story from them is no booklet. What a blessed country. Hoping to get the new passport soon.
Appreciation: All this could not have been possible without Jephephe who started the process and till date is still giving the necessary assistance to get the new passport soon.
The big masquared must be appreciated Frank Rueben. Your touch and advice to my application cannot be explain here. God used you to help me achieve this feat. Like you always said it truly ended in praise for me. You made it possible. I'll be coming back for the SOWP soon. Frank you are the boss.
Big thanks to nairaland forum where I get upto date information and first hand experience and this keeps the zeal in me that all is well. |

* When I got the NSE request mail, I was a bit troubled because I had an IELTS result that clocked 2 October 22 last year and I was being asked for IELTS result in December. I sent the result like that and I also included a letter of explanation stating that the Result was valid from October 2018 to October 2020. I sealed with faith and left it to GOD.
My application was far from perfect but the Mercy of GOD prevailed. Congrats!!! |

Congrats bro Akannitommy: Hi team,
I arrived in Montreal 23 hours ago - on Turkish Airlines after stopping 8 hours in Istanbul - but spent the first 6 hours at the YUL - Montreal airport. A mix of Covid-19 protocol plus the crowd of students coming in this period made the queue too long. I can't do much reporting now as I am still jet lagged but I just wanted say thanks to everyone who has been and continue to be a part of this journey. In a few days when am well rested, I will return with fuller gist of the lessons from this trip.
NB: my phone and laptop batteries dried up while drafting this message initially some 15 hours ago. I have now been able to sort the recharging/plugging problem with the kind help of Frater.... So I add my voice to the advice that those coming next should quickly find a way to plug and charge their devices before or upon arrival. |

Thanks olasubomy: Good evening,
If you have not yet made any payment, you can try the other panel of pshysician if they have an earlier date for you to book for your medicals.
But if that is the earliest date you are able to secure, you would need to be patient. I dont think you will be able to manoeuver anything than to just wait for the 19th January should in case none of the two panel of physician has an earlier date than the 19th.
Hopefully, IRCC progresses your application further and sends you medical request before that date.
I wish you success and it will end in praise. |

Hello house, happy new year in advance. I tried to do upfront medical exams, so I went online to book, they gave me 19th of January 2021 which is too far. Because I have submitted my application since November. Is there a way I can manoeuver the date to next week? |

[quote author=Frankrobbn1 post=89468300]Another error on the Kenya Immigration Officer's (KIO) part. Applicant is applying from his home country with a Nigerian Passport. Despite that, the responsible Visa officer is not satisfied about his current immigration status in his home country. This tells how inefficient and callous these visa officers can be as they tend not to be reviewing files in its entirety.
The sad aspect of it all is that even the GCMS notes we firmly rely upon for clarity are also generic!, which leaves prospective applicants in the dark as there is no set out system/standards to follow.
Having said that, you have no option but to order for it and share the notes with the members of this thread.
On the other hand, you can address those reasons that were raised in a well articulated context and file for re-application.
Be strong and hope for the best in your next application.
It will end in praise.
