What positive performance? A team that was good on paper to win the AFCON could not even scale through the round of 16. A team that plays wing football could not even deliver dangerous set-pieces. A team where the average height was 6'1 could not even score a single header from set-pieces & corners. All Tunisia needed to do was block moses Simon and the team collapsed. Augustine Eguavon is not particularly a successful coach going by accomplishments. But his bold performance at AFCON once again made a strong case for highly qualified indigenous coaches like Emmanuel Amunike, George Finidi, etc.

We have been complaining since the day of the governorship election about the non-uniformity of the payment, whereby some local government in rivers state received #21,500 while we here in Tai local government Sakpenwa received only #13,000 and many others were not paid at all. We even stage a peaceful protest in our rack center during the governorship election, were they promise to pay us the remaining balance of #8,500 the week after the election but instead they paid us #4,000 only on the 25th March 2019 while many others did not received a dime. Right now we don't even know if they will pay the remaining balance of #17,500. Speaking with a reliable source who would not want his name to be mentioned told us that he single-handedly fought for 2015 Inec Corper's allowance, especially of the one Tai local government sakpenwa. He even stated that there is always an element that will want to divert the allowances for greediness sake. And told us not to relent in our struggles to make sure we collect all our allowances. We wanted to stage a peaceful protest to NYSC secretarial Port-Harcourt today but decided to used this medium to air our ill-treatment after suffering all manners electoral violence.
