My
My brother, dont be decieved, the chunck of those 75 million voters are actually for Buhari. The North-west and South-west combined are more than the rest put together. Most of these flock to Buhari's campaign.
GEJ's campaign if full of hired crowds that even Gbenga Daniel his campaign coordinator in the Southwest admitted that he was booed by HIRED CROWD. Check BB's campaign pix, do u see a rented crowd? Do u hear of bombs or police shootings or other evils trailing the PDP?
The've colonized the Radio Nigeria and NTA, yet they will know no peace until they loose
.
This is exactly what I'm saying. Pictures don't tell us anything. They don't tell us who those people will vote for. You guys are whipping yourselves into a Buhari frenzy on the internet. Like I said whoever wins, my hope is that the National Assembly is not dominated by any one party.

Wow!!! I can't believe the traction BB is getting in this election, speak about a Deja Vu. The jury is still out on whether this is for the good or not. I'm just saying,
Traction? Really? Multiple threads on nairaland by broadly the same individuals does not equal traction. There are 75+ million eligible voters. GEJ is still favourite for president unfortunately. I am actually more interested in the legislature. I'm hoping no one party will have a majority in the National Assembly.

No it didn't. Ivory Coasts' own Electoral Commission declared the winner. The UN, AU etc simply recognised said winner as the legitimate leader.

PoliticsGejs' Government Sends Ex-militants Abroad For Education by Mariory(op): 8:56am On Mar 07, 2011
The Federal Government on Sunday sent 74 ex- militants from the Niger Delta region to University College, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, for a three-year degree programme.

The Special Adviser to the President on Niger Delta Matters, Kingsley Kuku, while speaking prior to the departure of the transformed ex-militants said the 74 men, in line with the government’s post amnesty programme, had undergone non-violence transformational training in Obubra, Cross River State, and found fit to acquire educational training overseas.

Kuku said the men would do three to four-year courses in engineering, business administration and other related fields. Before now, 292 ex- militants had been sent to South Africa and Ghana for vocational courses and with the present batch, a total of 366 ex- militants had gained from government’s post amnesty training programme.
He revealed that in the coming weeks, more delegates would travel to countries including Philippines, Russia, Romania, United Kingdom, United States of America, Egypt, Poland and the Netherlands to commence various types of training.

debosky:
From 'no airstrikes' taking place to being against 'armed' rebels? cheesy

Just what did the Russians claim did/didn't happen?

Just what is 'legitimate' about a government run by a despot that overthrew a monarchy?  huh
O the response should be interesting.

And also what a question!
Foreign AffairsRe: Russian Military Says Libyan Airstrikes Did Not Take Place by Mariory(m): 5:01pm On Mar 06, 2011
debosky:
This is a joke - even the Libyans have not denied making the airstrikes - they've simply said those airstrikes were made against military targets or to scare the 'rebels'.

What about the strikes that we have seen aircraft making ON TV with our own two eyes? Did the Russians deny those ones also taking place?

There's nothing worse than having a preconceived notion and being completely BLIND to the evidence available from a multitude of sources.
Not according to cap28, nairalands' movie superstar.
Foreign AffairsRe: Russian Military Says Libyan Airstrikes Did Not Take Place by Mariory(m): 4:54pm On Mar 06, 2011
cap28:
I would be inclined to agree with you IF I had just undergone a full frontal lobotomy - but i havent,  you see unlike you my brain is in full working order, as a result i am able to process information, analyse it and apply critical thinking, skills which are way beyond your reach.

Discussions like these become mentally and physically challenging for you, your "brain" which has been running way below the capacity of a fully functioning adult brain for so many years goes into panic mode because it simply can not cope with the depth and intellectual content of the information being fed to it.

International politics is not for everyone and you have shown from your limited ability to grasp basic political concepts that you fall into that category therefore run along and find something else to do with the vast amount of time you have on your hands - try mast.urbation it might just help to unclog the sludge that is lodged in between your ears which you have succeeded in convincing yourself is a brain.
Actually, you being lobotomised would make sense except for the fact that you would practically be a vegetable. No that's not it. Something else is wrong with your head. This is demonstrated by your ability to create and live in a make believe world much like that shown in movies.

The man you are trying so hard to defend here with made up stories does not even agree with your own fantasies. Hes' own made up stories about fanatical Islamists are way more realistic than that produced by your handicapped mind. And yet he is the one recruiting foreigners to come kill his own people. The people he claims to loves so much. But, don't let that get in the way of your movie.
Foreign AffairsRe: How The Western Media Has Lied To The Public Over Libya by Mariory(m): 4:43pm On Mar 06, 2011
Common you must have been smiling to yourself while writing that nonsense. I mean seriously can you really be this clueless? There is so much in that rant of yours that suggests you may actually be insane. For example,

cap28:
You have been provided with just enough "education" to enable you cross a road without getting knocked over by a car , go to the toilet without soiling yourself, dress yourself unaided and eat and drink without spilling the food on yourself - fine if  you live in nigeria but infinitely dangerous if you live in the western world, thank god you are trapped in nigeria and out of harms way because believe me you could not survive one day in a civilised society.
I mean. . .how can there not be something clinically wrong with your mind?

The man you are trying so hard to defend here with made up stories does not even agree with your own fantasies. Hes' own made up stories about fanatical Islamists are way more realistic than that produced by your handicapped mind. And yet he is the one recruiting foreigners to come kill his own people. The same people he claims to love so much. Don't let that get in the way of your movie though. *Mr secret agent man*

Never knew the fall of Ghadaffi would force so many mental midgets to depart from reality. Quite comical. Ghadaffi is blaming the revolt on Islamists fanatics and al-Qaeda. Some retards on nairaland are blaming it on the West. Some super retards on nairaland are blaming it on Western media.

You couldn't make this crap up if you tried. It's like a bad comedy.

cap28:
western leaders lifted sanctions in 2004 BUT subsequently decided that they would be better off without GAdaffi in the picture, especially since Gadaffi was not an easily controllable puppet like Mubarak or Ben Ali.  why is that so difficult for you to understand?  Mubarak was a pro US puppet but they still got rid of him (albeit reluctantly) because he was no longer of any use to the US, this is how it works, the west do not have permanent friends just permanent interests.
You are so dumb it's unreal. Seriously, do you sometimes find yourself laughing when you "think" up some of your horse-crap?

and which of the Lagos State contestants seems to talk about how to put food on the table of the common man?

Which of them? None. The common man is simply no more in the radar of the Lagos Government. Last time, the VIO stopped me and do you know what they were asking for? My Lagos State tax clearance, evidence that I pay tax. What has VIO got to do with tax clearance? Of course I was bundled to the VIO office and made to pay all "pending taxes". Tax is good, but, how do the people eat? no one cares.
Since when has this been the job of a Government? Lagosians are not babies and do not need to be spoon fed. And pay your darn taxes.
PoliticsRe: Who 'Won' The Lagos Governorship Debate On Channels TV? by Mariory(m): 1:00am On Mar 05, 2011
To those that are saying Dosunmu was the best performer. What exactly did he do apart from ask questions that you might agree with? Did you learn anything new about his ideaology? Is he more a socialist? A capitalist? Somewhere in the middle? What are his strategies fro developing Lagos? I didn't get an inkling of what the guy is about. All they did was ask Fashola questions. Wasn't this suppossed to be a debate between all candidates.

How can anyone who isn't mental not vote for Fashola after that when all we came away with was Fashola's achievements in Lagos and his plans for Lagos? Right now there is no credible opposition in Lagos.
