Lol... Everyone be famzing with the state house like it's difficult to get in lol...

Anyone can have access to the state house or use the state house as their location on IG. Doesn't mean anything.

All it takes is to be around there to indicate your location. Don't believe everything you see/read on the internet cheesy.

Alexisalex2, if you're inspired, do the right thing and stop acting like a child. Leave the showoff for the kids and grow up.

The truly wealthy and rich don't display their wealth anyhow. There are people here on NL who have more than you can imagine. Yet, they don't flaunt it here or anywhere else for that matter.

Reticence is the hallmark of the truly rich. You might want to try that.

alexisalex2:

You are right, but you failed to quote his precise location in Abuja as The State House, Presidential Villa, Abuja.

God has elevated Inspired and now has direct links/works with the Presidency in Abuja.

Haters can continue to live in penury while they keep wandering/trolling on Nairaland. grin

This is a testimony that Only God has the final say in the affairs of any man. cool

I hope the thief is brought to justice. The fake.azs criminal is flexing with people's money everywhere, borrow-posing with cars and generally trying too hard. Old boy still thinks he's a kid lol. Inspired I'm sure you're reading this thread. Do the right thing.

On the other hand, revlution, I dont know what your plans are regarding your funds or your religious affiliation. But even while exploring other means, find an agreement partner and go on a 7-21 day fast with prayers that Inspired not know peace, rest or prosperity; that everything he lays his hands on work against him until he returns your money.

Somewhat extreme? Maybe. But what do you do when you catch a thief who comes into your house to rob you? You'll do worse, won't you?

If someone can steal from you and go on a tour squandering your hard earned money -check his IG page for the latest- I don't think this is extreme.

I know it sounds cliché, but when you have dealt with very powerful people who know anyone who's anyone in this country and feel like they can do whatever they want, you'll understand. For the record, Inspired is nothing compared to these people.

Anyways, that's the end of my epistle. I hope you do heed this advice whilst going about your other plans. Good luck and we all hope to hear some good news soon.

Excellent question. You're familiar with the term Occam's razor, right? So, let's start by applying pressure locally. The criminal has a showroom, does he not? he has bank accounts, doesn't he? Good.

1. Revlution needs to take about 2-4 weeks break from work wherever she is to come down to naija. if she wants to go the legal route, the first thing to do would be to report the case to his bank -the bank she paid into so they'll freeze his accts in that bank and other banks. It'll be better if she hires a good lawyer to file the complaint on her behalf. A complaint from a lawyer will be expedited faster than if she were to do it by herself.

2. If she doesn't want to tow the legal route, she can report the guy to soldiers (there are solders here on NL or people who know some high ranking soldiers here. you'll be surprised at the help you'll get if you ask) who will go with her to the showroom along with a lawyer to pick up a car of the same value.

3. If she doesn't want to do that, she can go to the US herself. Since she's just across the pond, that's a 6 hour flight or so. if she has a general idea of which state he's in, all she has to do is either contact the local law enforcement officials and report the case of fraud from a NIGERIAN CRIMINAL who escaped there to hide out or hire a bounty hunter who will track him down -they're easy to find in most states.

Once they do, he'll be automatically deported -visa or not- to his country of origin. Then, she can have soldiers pick him up, tune him up a bit for a few hours and he'll pay the money.

It's that simple. Is there some work involved? You bet! But, I personally think it's worth it to teach the scammer a lesson.

Just my 2 cents.

Brute force can only be used if you see the criminal in Lagos. What about if the criminal is a fugitive hiding in the U.S?

True that! But then, chances are he's just going to pocket the funds. Well, I've always said this matter wasn't one for diplomacy. That it required brute force. But then, its not my money. Good luck man. Hope it all works out.

Wow... So this is where the matter is still at? Thanks for the update. I was just wondering about the outcome of that issue the other day. It's sad. I hope this gets resolved pronto.

I'd be surprised if you were still in touch with him. The way I see it, this is way past negotiations. Now that he's shown his true colour, he needs needs to be treated like the criminal he is and dealt with with extreme prejudice.

Keep up the good work man. Cheers.

Seun locked the thread because inspired gave a condition of the thread being removed prior to payment. Chelseabmw being the moderator obliged and pulled down the thread, however seun who has been following the whole thing in the background put the thread back up and censored it which i totally 100% supported.

Inspired gave some silly conditions which as far as revlution was concerned a matter that had dragged for 6 months and now the end was near, agreed to tentatively. The money was to be paid back in 2 installments and chelseabmw stood as a witness for inspired, Now inspired later turned around and said he would no longer pay and would use the money to clean up the bad image he has gotten via that thread and nairaland which made us now tow a different route. He, inspired only helped to further escalate the issue via his sturborn arrogant posture and we are now obliging him by taking this to heights he never imagined we would, All those now involved, embassies, foreign law enforcement, local law enforcement including efcc.

Even after the thread got locked i have kept communication going with revlution. I am no longer having communications with inspired as i feel we are past the point of reasoning now.

So inspiredm still hasn't paid revolution? Thought the saga was resolved and settled. Yet Seun locked the thread and deleted all helpful comments? Makes me wonder...

Politics / Re: Fashola’s Tenure, A Failure –PDP by markpenk: 1:47pm On May 30, 2015
This coming from a failed party. At least Fashola did what he could considering the circumstances -dude's hands were mostly tied. How many PDP governors achieved anything remotely close to what he did? Take for example, Akpabio and Akwa Ibom with all its allocations still did less than 10% of what Fashola did for Lagos. You'd think that a state with the highest federal allocation would at least have something to show for it apart from a supposedly world class stadium. Make these pdp goons shut up joor and get to work proving themselves.

@kakakibuy and themodernman... for both your peace of mind, don't do business with each other. Plain and simple. @themodernman, there's really no need for all the back and forth and vituperations. We might be on a faceless forum, but that doesn't give us all the right to insult one another.

Yes, there were, there are and will always be scammers on NL, but that doesn't mean that all car dealers here are scammers. Kakakibuy may have been reluctant to provide you with references because he doesn't know who you are. For all he cares, you may be a conman/kidnapper looking for a mark.

@Kakakibuy, please understand that in this harsh economic clime, it is extremely difficult for anyone to raise 1.3m and give it to a total stranger. It takes serious cohones.

if you both decide to move forward with this deal, I'd recommend that you both show good faith and prove to each other that you're both real. Kakakibuy, provide easily reachable and verifiable references. themodernman, prove that you're a legit, honest to god customer. Sefinis.

Make una stop this fight o. Una no need am.

My 2 cents.

Are these people stoopi.d or just plain idiots? If they want to expose themselves to this hardship fine -after all, they already look hungry. But to expose their baby to the heat, the stress and the general discomfort? That must be the dumbest thing I've heard. This is why we need child protection services in this country. Do this crap in yankee and see if your child won't be taken away from you and handed over to more "fit" parents. All these mumus looking for chump change.

This is becoming ridiculous. How can a nation of nearly 170 million individuals be held hostage by a few individuals? And yet we do nothing. We have become an object of ridicule to the outside world with many of them asking how a nation that exports crude oil cannot have fuel. The polity and masses are suffering, yet the fattened polithiefians in ABJ arent saying or doing anything. We havent heard squat from the Otueke man, except for the counter claims by his MOF. This is how a nation degenerates into chaos.

Honestly, we may need military intervention. If the military invades every depot and orders the immediate lifting of petrol and diesel, let's see who will object to it... This country is tiresome.

50 million only? That's not enough. If the loud mouthed Omojuwa can publicly defame another individual without concrete proof, the plaintiff should take to the cleaners. if it were me, we'll be going for at least 10 billion in damages and a public retraction of his statement published in all the dailies and social media networks. Celebrities / Re: Adokiye Kyrian: I May Lose My Virginity Soon by markpenk: 7:29pm On May 17, 2015
Chics like this are often compulsive self servicers, not to mention that all other orifices are often already disvirgined -boys that have encountered girls like this know what I'm saying wink grin. Make this chic go siddon joor. Truth is she can't give it away because doing so means she'll lose her notoriety and go away quietly into the night. When someone starts becomes popular simply because she's a V, then there's a huge problem in the society.

Family / Re: For Women - Why You Should Love Your Husband More Than Your Kids by markpenk: 9:44am On Apr 20, 2015
Now this is a matured, sensible response. Kudos to you maam. if more women made this kind of effort, I'm pretty certain that marriages would last longer, men would stay faithful to their wives and divorce rates would drop to an all time low.
lastnogood:
I'll say that there must be a balance.

As mothers, we're expected to be selfless in all matters, so my response to this post is actually to put God first, then yourself.

Why? Well as a Christian, God must remain a priority. However, after that you must be able to keep a finger on your own pulse. My children need me, and I know that I also derive a deep satisfaction in caring for their every need. To the point that I can lose myself. My partner also needs me, and he also gives me this feeling of great enjoyment. However, he shouldn't be the source of my joy and happiness, that comes from within.
If I don't take the time everyday to care for myself, my health, my looks, career etc, I won't be useful to anyone in the long run.

Of course, younger children will take up more attention and energy, but it's also our jobs to teach them independence as they grow. Not only for their benefit, but ours as well. A husband should definitely understand that and have patience. I believe that if he involves himself with the care of the child from birth, he'd have empathy and understanding of the kind of energy it takes to raise the child. It also helps the wife feel supported, and she'd be more receptive to spending quality time with him.

A wife, who puts her needs as a woman first will never neglect get husband. Once she understands her needs and desires as a woman, she'll see that a husband gives her what children can't, like adult conversation, emotional support and physical intimacy. She may not be able to give him 50% at the beginning, but if he sees her making that effort, he should be happy for the time being.
Family / Re: For Women - Why You Should Love Your Husband More Than Your Kids by markpenk: 9:53pm On Apr 19, 2015
Na your own dem dey tell you o. Like it or not, this is one of the reasons why many men cheat on their wives. A few of my friends have complained severally, that they always feel like outsiders in their own homes.

They get home, see the kids flocking around their wives and when they try to join them, they somehow get "rebuffed". It's either the kids relocate to the room with their mom or everyone "scatters". I'm talking about good guys here, not men who scare and threaten their family. Why do you think men start spending more time outside with other chics?

It's because they get more attention from the girls. Dey there, dey form agidi. You think he married you just for the sake of procreation? Don't go give your husband the attention he needs. Very soon, you'll come to NL to complain that your husband is cheating on you.

Dyt:

I strongly believe that modeling a healthy relationship for our children sets the foundation for how they form bonds when they get older. In my opinion, my husband and I are the first example of what being in a happy marriage is like. Our kids learn how they should treat their future significant others (and what they should expect in return) by watching us.

I think that raising them in a home with parents who clearly love and value one another is key to their growth. For me, this means putting my husband first.

Yes we know

But to each his own
That's your view madam
Your hubby before your kids, congrats on ur choice

Some kids comes first
We all are different in our ways
