Autos / Re: Rickkychidex111 : A Con Man (business Deal Review) by markpenk: 10:53am On Jun 02, 2017 |
So, I've been following this thread for a while in the hopes that a speedy resolution would be reached. But it appears that the accused isn't willing to budge and remedy the situation. Rickkychidex111, all your "stories" have no bearing on the real issue here. You need to resolve this immediately because of the following: Fact: chidi2pus sent you money for OEM parts. You didn't deliver. Shikena Fact: You haven't said anything about settling the issue. You've just been dancing around the matter Fact: chidi2pus is in the right on this matter because you rightly cheated him by sending him lower grade bulbs. Fact: Ultimately, the customer is king What chidi2pus does for a living or how old he is, is completely irrelevant to this matter and is really none of your business. if anything, it portrays you as being jealous/envious of him. if a young guy can afford a N10m vehicle, so be it. There are others who have bought a N20m+ vehicle without breaking a sweat. Instead, go double your hustle . If I were you, I'd do everything to resolve this quickly, otherwise, the tags of a con-man and scammer would be appropriate. In fact, your responses here are helping people reach the conclusion that you aren't a straightforward person. And your threats are really not helping either. Why ruin your business because of a measly 50k? And if you don't have it, why not reach out to him and offer an alternative sum so you can both reach a compromise and move from from this saga. I'm pretty certain chidi2pus is open to shifting grounds if you offer a reasonable amount. This platform is big enough to expand your business -ask Inspired, Gazzuzz, Calculusx and so many others who have benefited from maintaining a spotless reputation here. Don't drive away HNIs just because of 50k. 9 Likes |

See these people looking to conscript others to share in their woes and losses. Is MMM still around? Thought this ponzi scheme was dead. So, it's become a full time job ba. Not surprised really. In the words of P.T. Barnum (the father of ponzi schemes), "there's a sucker born every minute". And if you can get them hooked on what you're selling, they will always sell your fantasy. Mavrodi did an awesome job here. These people should just give it a rest and let the participants begin healing 7 Likes |

Romance / Re: Covenant University Graduate Searching For A Husband Lists Specifications by markpenk: 10:38pm On May 17, 2017 |
Interesting that you think faithfulness in a man is nonsensical, and that nothing differentiates one woman from.the other. Per your thinking, "they're all the same thing, and as long as I've got some money, I should sleep with all women". This flawed premise is exactly why we have far fewer men with integrity and excellent character in the society. But I digress. To answer your question, faithfulness isn't about the lack or abundance of money. It's simply a way of life, a principle, a part of your character if you will. " I am a decent human being, therefore I stay faithful". It's not contingent on the availability or lack of resources. Getting married isn't about how much money you've got. It's simply about you meeting the right person. Money only smoothes things over and further nurtures the relationship. Good/great relationships are never about money. They are usually about many things -the summation of all parts resulting in the whole. That said, this is an entirely different conversation -don't know how you veered off track and decided to fixate on the money issue, but that's okay. Figured that's what "got your goat". On a final note, you would do well to make your point without the use derogatory or insulting words. I'm all for a decent tete a tĂȘte/jawjaw any time. Just keep it healthy, clean and respectful. P.S: I'm a guy. hedonistic: |
Romance / Re: Covenant University Graduate Searching For A Husband Lists Specifications by markpenk: 7:04pm On May 17, 2017 |
While you do have a point about her seeming emphasis on materialism, the reality is that she's being very practical. When it comes down to it, romance is largely fueled and encouraged by finance and the same materialism you so ardently oppose. Without that, it's only a matter of time before the romance, compatibility and understanding go out the window. I also think that she already assumed that all those things you mentioned -love and compatibility- were already a given. it's easy to try to see marriage through rose colored lenses, assuming that love would eventually cover all things. But, marital and relationship problems are often largely practical. So, while I understand your perspective and agree that those things are just as important, the reality is that the things she mentioned too as just as important. Organs: |
Romance / Re: Covenant University Graduate Searching For A Husband Lists Specifications by markpenk: 3:53pm On May 17, 2017 |
Well... I don't see how her requests are very unreasonable. Before the guys bite my head off, please hear me out . It's clear the girl has/lives a different reality than most Nigerians, but also, one that's actually more common than you'd think. if your parents can afford to send you to CU, chances are you're already comfortable. So, a chick like that is bound to assume that basic needs will be met. After all, that's her current reality. Per her requirements, my particular focus is on the following: 1. Income, Shelter and Provision - Ideally, no guy should think of settling down without a decent source of income, nice apartment, mobility, and the capability to feed the family. let's be honest here: who would want their daughters or sisters to marry someone without this? It's a basic necessity. 2. Acceptance of Wild Past- Well, she's flexible here. At least she's mature enough to understand that a guy can have a past. As long as he's outgrown it, that's okay. 3. No Children from Past Relationships -Well, this is a given for most people. Let's face it, Nigerians hate the After-1's. In fact, your parents probably wouldn't give their blessing to your relationship with anyone who already has a child out of wedlock. The rare exceptions where this might be acceptable to the parents would be if the guy or gal is very comfortable, pretty, incredibly well mannered, has very good connects or their child is getting too old for marriage. 4. Education and Global Exposure -This is mandatory these days. After all, you don't want to marry an uneducated person with a very limited worldview and/or one that's not presentable. If you do, chances are you'll become the butt of jokes among your friends, colleagues and your local community (see Patience Jonathan for example). With the rate at which everyone's forming "phoneh" now and access to the internet/cable TV, it'd be hard to not want this or at least someone who is articulate and intelligent, even if lacking the accent or pedigree. Where our paths diverge is the physical description, no intimacy till marriage rule, and tribe. You probably wouldn't find all these qualities in any guy from one tribe. And if you do, chances are he's already married or is a playa. Whatever the case though, to each his own. if this is what floats her boat and helps her sleep at night, good luck to her. Just hope she won't be at Shiloh and Holy Ghost Congress in 4/5 years begging God for any available man. FlirtyKaren: 21 Likes 1 Share |

This girl has no modicum of reticence. Why is it the ugly ones with extremely flat, wide noses who take more pics, celebrating their "self confidence". Her other sisters who are prettier, and have none of the flat nose she has, take far fewer pics. She really should take less pics in general, even fewer ones with her face and huge nose up close or at least keep them private. |

Thanks for the reply. Makes sense. Still please post pictures, and when those properties get rented, you can always post a notice to that effect. That said, do you have a miniflat or 2bed flat in Ajao estate with modern facilities? If yes, please post pictures. Same applies to units you might have in other locations. I'm looking to do the inspection this weekend/next weekend. Thanks. chuksLetting: |

I see you have a few threads going here. Do yourself a favour and post pics -you can always watermark them if you're worried about someone "stealing" the pics and misappropriating them. No one will take you seriously without that. Do a search for Nysot's threads and borrow a leaf from that. If I was looking for a place on the island, she'd have been my go-to agent, simply because she uploads the pictures of the properties. You'll generate more sales with them, than without them. I am personally interested in a miniflat in Ajao estate, but might be open to the idea of other locations if they have modern facilities. Might even be interested in a 2bed flat. But, I WILL NOT call you without seeing any pics. |

This is a medical condition called gigantomastia. Girls be flaunting their humongous sized boobs not knowing they aint alright. Funny thing is they're only appealing when "trapped" in bras. Unleash them, and you'll be instantly turned off by their tendency to rapidly obey gravitational forces . Wish them all the best though in the sales/promotion of their "wares". 1 Like |

Quick question: Was that letter really drafted by said law firm or is someone doing a very poor job of impersonating the law firm? What's with all the typos and grammatical blunders? Abi lawyers no sabi english again? If that was indeed drafted by real lawyers, no wonder lawyers are losing cases right, left, and center 1 Like |

Politics / Re: Buhari Returns, Lands In Kaduna, Choppered To Presidential Villa by markpenk: 8:14am On Mar 10, 2017 |
If the president had to be flown into the country under the cover of darkness, and the moves surrounding his arrival are hush-hush, with no media house present for his arrival, then there's something wrong. This is so reminiscent of the Yaradua era. If we don't hear from him in the form of a national address by Monday at the latest, then it means there's really trouble and the man is very unwell -maybe even terminal and was sent home to live out his last few days 3 Likes |

Lol... I didnt get a job through them. If you're looking for "something more reliable", keep your ears/eyes peeled for their recruitment announcements. Follow them on all social media networks too. By the way, millions of CVs in their database doesn't mean squat. They recruit every 1-3 months. Good luck. Greedgod: |
