nas00: Does the car jerk as you eventually shift from 'Park' gear?No jerking. The problem is getting it out of park. Once I use the shift lock it moves seamlessly and the gear selection is good too. |

My 2003 Honda Accord V6 automatic sometimes have issues getting the gear out of parking position. Most times after depressing the brake repeatedly, it will release. If it doesn't I have to use the shift lock to get it into the drive position. The transmission works well. Just getting it out of park is the headache. Any suggestions please. |

Eyop: Pre-order taking up to 5 months is a disaster. OP your funds have been recycled for 5 months and if such funds was fixed deposited do you know the interest you should have by now? Not only did inspired put you through stress but also held on to your money for 5 good monthsWORD! 3 Likes |

ivoryhouse: Well spoken guys, new parts in Nigeria are not worth it unless the auto shop is willing to back it up with a warranty! I buy most of my car parts online upto my oil filters, spark plugs and I get better quality at shocking prices. I bought 'new ' spark plugs at N3k each ×6 and they were useless less than a month later. I ordered a new set at less than N1k each and 12months later they are still going strong.I need the info please. |

That is because the new part they are selling to you is China. At most it will last 6months if driven on good roads. You have to be careful about the toks too. Most times its refubished Naija used parts sold to unsuspecting buyer. 1 Like |

I looked at the recalls for both cars and I was amazed at all the recalls the Camry has been subjected to. Looks like Honda is a safer bet. 2 Likes |

Thanks guys for your input. I love the Accord too but sometimes I will see a clean Camry and become confused especially the SE trim. |

The road is being handled by 2 contractors. Lagos to Sagamu is being handled by Julius Berger while from Sagamu Interchange to Ibadan is being handled by RCC. Presently not much is going on there. Seems like funds have not been released. The contractors are just Killing time waiting. 1 Like |

To avoid Naija mechanics killing off your car untimely, you have to start an elimination process. 1. You have changed your coolant and it is still overheating, 2. Check if you have coolant leakage 3. Check if you have air-pockets in your radiator 4. Wash your radiator. Steam wash oh 5. Check if your thermostat is working (if your mechanic has not tossed it out) Keep trouble-shooting and you just might sort it out rather than your mechanic chopping you dry. Most of the time they are clueless about overheating issues. |

. Inspired usually emphasize that he does all round check before buying a vehicle so why didn't he discover that the camry he initially told you he pre-ordered had engine problems at the 11th hour? No matter what you complain at this time makes no sense. If i were you,i will demand for a refund with interest because it makes no more sense to further transact with him. Pre-order still remains the best for me but all that matters is who's doing the pre-order for you.
