modicum: I'm living in a 2 bedroom apartment with my landlord who is a Muslim .i've got a girlfriend who visits me once in a week and my landlord is well aware of this. To my surprise, my landlord called me on Saturday that I should tell my girlfriend not to visit me on Ramadan period because my girlfriend visiting my own room is a SIN for him because he's fasting.
Note: I'm a free thinker and not fasting with him. 2. We're not related and not sharing the same room. 3. My tenancy agreement doesn't indicate any Ramadan clause. 4. I've got only one girlfriend visiting this apartment . 5. My landlord has got 2 wives living in separate apartment. 6. I've been living in this apartment for 9months and I introduced my girlfriend to my landlord when I moved in. 7. Anytime my girlfriend visits, she come straight into my room meaning she hardly meet my landlord .8. My girlfriend is very clean and anytime she uses the toilet, she always keep it clean and tidy.
My question is; how does my visiting girlfriend affect my landlord's fasting??

walexpal: I just had my gearbox change, i noticed the ATF fluid used by the Mechanic is Seahorse ATF fluid, Dextron III. Please is this Oil appropriate. The car is still working fine. Can I change the oil to ATF-Z1 after a while? The model is Honda Accord 1998/1999 model. Thank you.

guy1234: Shebi dem talk say na10 lane the road go be. The 2 lanes from sagam to ibadan leaves the road in its present design state. So why wasting so much to add one lane from sagam to lagos,and do patch work from sagam to Ibadan. Where is the sense in that. In 5 years we would have the same problem of today because that lagos-ibadan axis is rapidly developing in both residential and industrial projects.

what was the engine oil viscosity rating of your 04' Nissan Xterra ? Are you telling me that the engine oil knocked your engine and you had to replace it ? Wow Any more information from the house as regards using Quartz 9000 (5w-40) for a 2004 Toyota Corolla with a rating of 5w-30 !!! Appreciate it

ezedee: k guys here is what happens when trying to refuel at the filling station,
as soon as the nozzle is depressed for fuel flow into the tank it fills up the tube to the tank and spills over cutting off the dispenser trigger and gradually and slowly goes down
so to put fuel in, one has to dispense fuel from the trigger slightly depressed
forcing it down with will only spray fuel everywhere and this just started

earthrealm: ignorance is bliss!...lol, not this time.....i so hate that abro transmission fluid.mechanics are so quick to recommend it and car owners also are quick to jump at it...cos its soooooooooooooo cheap...

i nearly wrecked my toyota engine 5yrs ago when i wasnt too well informed about cars... after 2 months my car was finding it hard 2 engage reverse..and enters with a loud thump after about 30 secs!...the useless mechanic who put the abro told me 4 wks after when i came to complain...that my gearbox is bad..that i should start saving up to buy a new gearbox!!!........i had to research and google..and that was how i found out that abro is rubbish and not suitable for my toyota rav4 then.......

armed with this knowledge and my haynes manual..purchases $16, i was able to open /change out the transmission fluid..i bought the totytat recommended type tiv , washed the filter thoroughly with petrol [cudnt see a new filter to buy in naija, later got a new filter from the usa]..and voila...my car was back to life!!!.

later drove the car to the mechanic.....and he was puzzled that my car was still running, and that i didnt follow up on his change the gearbox advice......i subsequently stopped visiting that mechanic...n come to think of it..any mechanic....the few times i go...i just indulge them to know what they think is the problem and test it againt what i already know is the problem...

the morale of the story is : EDUCATE URSELF SO MUCH ABOUT UR CAR, THAT U WUDNT BE AT A MECHANICS MERCY!!...CLUELESS CLOWNS..most of them
