I have being silently observing what is happening here, how some of us are now trying to deny the fact that ubunja is the one that exposed them to the redpill here on naiiraland. Any person who is long here on naiiraland will agree with the fact that ubunja, Martinez, hardoon and many few others are the people that was preaching about the redpill, before this new set now came out. But now they are trying to make people believe they are the real redpillers while it was ubunja and many few others that introduced them to the redpill.

NB: this post is not considering the recent clash with Ubunja. I am speaking about certain past treatments of Ubunja here.

Ubunja is the most effective and most influential pioneer of the red pill movement on nairaland. For a long time, he has been the face of the nairaland red pill movement. His most famous moment occurred when people took out a day to open congratulatory threads on how Ubunja freed them. This caused a backlash led by the fishwife called MariaLavina who, by branding us misogynists, sort to weaponize the mods to ban all redpillers and delete their posts. Obviously, she got cancelled instead and she deactivated, only to resurface much later with other accounts.

The thing is, Ubunja deserves utmost respect for his efforts. If only people know how valuable and useful the red pill is, they will respect and be appreciative of someone who gave it out in huge doses for free. When I call out people on being rude and grossly disrespectful to Ubunja over his opinion that they didn't agree with, some see me as an aśs licker. When Ubunja is being misunderstood and dragged, and I step in to defend, clarify and/or articulate his point, I am seen as an asś licker, subservient and solicitous to the red pill god.

If you can discuss and argue without insults or rude remarks while still maintaining civility, respect and appreciation, why not do it? If you can amicably agree to disagree, why not do so instead dishing of rude remarks, insults and/or ingratitude? Even though I don't see anybody as a god (due to personal principles), I still give respect, compliments and appreciation to whom it is due. Finally, I wouldn't want us to reach a point were we will say Ubunja is not truly redpilled because he said something we don't agree with... that would be disrespectful to his past and present efforts.
