This reminds me of the civil war. Wole Soyinka, a Yoruba man, spent twenty two month in jail just because of his support for the biafran cause, while ojukwu and other members of the biafra high command were busy hiding in under ground bunkers.


Even Nnamdi Azikiwe, the man who composed the biafran national anthem, eventually ran away from biafra to support the Nigerian government against his own Igbo people. Nnamdi Azikiwe composed the national anthem of a country he had no faith in, yet Wole Soyinka, a Yoruba man was suffering and languishing in jail because of his support for biafra.

Well as an Igbo man, I can categorically say that Governor Peter Ayodele Fayose is greater than all Igbo men both dead and alive.

Who is Fayose advising. He has not done anything good in ekiti state than giving 200 naira note to people and two cups of rice while Ebony state governor has built three flyovers but Fayose's flyover bridge he claims he is constructing has no serious progress yet he is expecting FG to pay him back the money when he has not done anything serious about the project . Useless gov making useless comments as usual. It is only an empty barrel that makes most noise. There always time for everything. By the time Fayose leaves office and free government money is no longer there to make noise with but will be going from one court case to another

Jonathan in his usual corrupt ways gave the money to NIA and also approved that it should be kept in a secret apartment under the guise of covert operation. The bulk of the money was used to finance the 2015 election and what EFCC discovered is just the left over.

President Buhari should immediately commission a special panel of inquiry to investigate the discovery thoroughly. The death of Obuah, GEJ's chief security officer from heart attack after the discovery was announced says it all. I have a deep feeling that GEJ and some of his PDP loyalist still have access to the money till it was eventually discovered by EFCC.

He doesn't want anybody to challenge him in the state yet he challenges every other person if you are not on his side. When other governors are doing massive projects, empowering the people and reducing poverty Fayose only gives people two cups of rice worth 500 naira and two hundred naira note. Yet he sees nothing wrong in that. Fayose collected 9 Billion naira in December as intervention fund, also in January and February he collected the monthly allocations but could not pay salaries until February that he paid one month out of 6 months salary areas. People in my state ekiti are used to poverty that they can't see anything wrong in collecting 2 cups of rice worth of 500 naira and a two hundred naira note than real dividends of democracy from a thuggish Governor Fayose . He is blaming Obasanjo for what happened over a decade but what Fayose is doing today is worst than what happened 10 years ago.
