God , u don't know what pedophilia is

a 17 year old is too old to be considered a victim of pedophilia

, pedophilia can only happen to prepubescent children that is , children that haven't reached puberty

PoliticsRe: Blame PDP, Private Sector For Job Losses Not Buhari — APC by marvinsync(m): 4:33am On Jan 04, 2019
festacman:
The blame for job losses and unemployment rate is multifaceted:

Lack of infrastructure to support industrial production, distribution to point of consumption. Blame past corrupt military and corrupt PDP governments.

Lip service to diversification. Blame past military and PDP Governments

Lack of favourable monetary/fiscal policy-driven incentives to industries. Blame past military and PDP governments

Nigerian banks prefer financing commerce to financing industry. Blame selfish bank operators

Poor tactical and strategic management of industries leading to collapse. Blame captains of industries and shareholders.

Government refusing to make hard decisions about protecting local industries. Blame past military and PDP governments

Lack of effective advisory and support system for fledgling SMEs. SMEDAN's performance has been poor. Blame past PDP governments.
so buhari is not responsible for anything in his administration abi?

As funny as this may seem, it is a sad truth about Nigerian politics.

Most female politicians would have to warm some men beds before they make it in politics.
Things are really bad in this country.

I dont know why Nigerian men must always demand s*x in exchange from favour from females.

With this we can never get better in this country. Everything is upside down.
then they should stop asking for favours from men
BusinessRe: Be Proud Of Your Legitimate Hustle - An Advice To Young Nigerians by marvinsync(m): 4:15am On Jan 04, 2019
yinkuscious:
DON'T BE ASHAMED OF YOUR LEGITIMATE HUSTLE - There is dignity in labour

One of the reasons why our society keep on experiencing the heart breaking stories of internet fraud, rituals and all sorts of unbelievable quest for getting rich scheme is our societal response and reactions to young people who desired to start small.

Few days ago, my sister reminded me of the saying "there is dignity in labor". That is, whatever you're doing, that is bringing food to your table, that is giving you joy and is not at the detriment of others, you should be proud of it.

But, reverse is the case these days. The process no longer matter, only the result, regardless of how you get the result.

Attentions are been given to those who are showing off and not those who are showing up to promote their trades.

Social media got it all blasted - In recent time, I noticed that if you post a picture of you in an exotic restaurant (even though you didn't buy anything) your social media connections will bless you with lots of reactions and comments, but if you post things about your business or services, you'll be given little attention, less reaction, no comment.

What is this data saying about our society? People don't care or give little attention to things that add value to your life, they don't want to support or show interest in your process.

Then people (victim of the societal judgment) decided to go into the get rich quick at all means, or die trying schemes.

And we all can see what this has caused us as a society.

Dear your people, be proud of your trade. Even if family and friends don't support you. Even if they pay no attention to you, God is a rewarded of hard work.
There are people who are taking note of your consistency, your ability and your sagacity.

It won't only give you peace of mind, it will allow you a beautiful legacy and a good place in history.

Don't fall for it, embrace your small beginning - those who look down on you didn't create you, they won't pay your bills for you.

To your shameless execution.

ur epistle is nice and sweet and all but let's be realistic okay, people are hungry and suffering ,and it's not everyone that has access to knowledge and information , as big as nairaland is there are only 2million users and far less active users , what about the remaining 190+million population , most of the things u know about business and life millions don't even know or have access to that kind of information and with our bad educational system what do u want them to do ? drink garri for the rest of their lives ?, it's easy to say things like this when u have food to eat and know where your next meal is coming from ,90milliom Nigerians are living below the poverty line ! what do u really expect ?

now I'm not trying to justify criminal activities , but u gotta understand ,all these might not be a good reason to commit crime but it's a reason non the less and we could gather here and preach all day but the reality won't change because the reasons all these are happening are still there

Because Igbo land is desperately poor and barren. Every other Nigerian is proud and emphasise their ethnic homeland. I am from Yorubaland. Stop quoting the fake military constitution.
desperately poor and barren ? I laugh !
says a Yoruba man , whose first reaction to everything is tribalism

I only stated facts ,
Yorubas hate when Igbos mention having a sovereign state (Biafra) , hate ipob , first people to talk about one Nigeria when the concept of Nigeria splitting comes up (I wonder why if u guys are just so awesome ) but then hate when u see us in the SW and shout Yorubaland somehow implying we owe u the air we breathe for staying in our country !

the only way for us to move on peacefully is if we stop all these hindrance , or u could keep shouting Yorubaland and Igbos could keeping shouting Biafra till we tear the country apart

CareerRe: My Chinese Boss Keeps Making About 40% Deductions From My Salary. I Need Advice by marvinsync(m): 3:47am On Dec 31, 2018
Holybwoy:
I don taya. Two months into this job and I am already looking for a greener pasture. I was happy when the offer I received from the firm tripled my previous salary but it's a different story entirely since I started receiving bank alerts.

First, they pay salary 5th of the next month which we complained about but the HR (a Chinese) said that's how it is even in their headquarters in China. The first salary I received, dude claimed it was because I resumed Nov 12 and not the first day of the month. I chilled and let it pass.

I wasn't even expecting my salary again at all this year and around 4am when I woke up to pee, I checked my phone only to see an alert from my bank. It was from my workplace. About 40% deductions was made again. I am just waiting for day to break so I can grill the HR but then I am sure he'd look for ways to justify the deductions.

I didn't miss any work day this month. I don't want to give more indepth info cos many of my colleagues at work are Nairalanders and they might snitch on me.

What do you lovely people suggest I do? How will a chinko be subjecting me to 21st century slavery? I know end-of-the-year bonuses. I have never heard of deductions in my life.
firstly go and hear the excuse it might make sense

then ask him to his face what u can do to ensure u get ur salary in full that way ull do it and he won't have any conventional excuse

then also find out how well ur company is doing , it might be because of low sales that they are behaving like this ,it happens

and also try and see if it's at all possible (I'm skeptic about this tho) to see if u can get legal help like ask questions from a lawyer or something

Good questions:
1) Along the rail track new industries will be established due to increased commercial activities
2) Direct employment and indirect employment associated with increased commercial activities along the corridor will be massive
3)Cost of land and fixed assets will increase
4)As a result of the rail now farmers in the area, who has been wasting 85% of their harvests, will now have the opportunity of moving their perishable harvest on time and further thereby increasing their earning power with resultant multiplier effect
5) Increased GOT between the 2 states will ensure more money to the state Govt hence better life for the citizens
6) Food processing companies will increase in that corridor die to ease of connectivity to the massive Nigeria's population

I can go on and on because nothing generates more employment than the provision of infrastructure especially transport infrastructure.

My brother hate or live Buhari we haven't had a futuristic and pragmatic president like him in Nigeria before now. The tragedy of our existence

AutoReportNG:
This is the Uromi Train Station heading towards Agbor. All is now set for the official kick-off of the Itakpe Warri Rail. The train did a test run today to see the effectiveness and also to see how well the contractors have faired.

It may be recalled that the 327km Standard-Gauge Itakpe Warri Rail links Itakpe in Kogi State To Ajaokuta and then to Warri, Delta State (Itakpe to Ajaokuta, 50KM; Ajaokuta to Warri, 277KM).

The Itakpe Warri Rail Line was started by President Babangida circa 1987, it was planned as a freight-only Rail, serving the Iron Ore / Steel belt between Aladja and Ajaokuta. It is now being reconfigured as a PASSENGER + Freight Rail, to maximize usefulness.

These are photos from the site at Uromi Train Station.
