Nigeria is not a republic, Nigeria is a bunch of kingdoms patched together at gun point by foreign invaders who imposed their political system at gun point on the people of the land.

Football superstars, and Hollywood actors earn less than Nigerian politicians (even if you remove corruption).
Others are the soldiers, the policemen, the secret services...but these guys like traditional-rulers-approvals are important for peace to reign and without peace there can't be any economy.
