You make me laugh, I've used Nokia e63, e65 and e71.I've always boasted of having the best phone with the Symbian phones because you can't imagine the things I do with them but I can also tell you categorically today that I dropped e71 for n3 because it beats it in all aspects. Tell me which of the e-series that has an integrated HTML viewer? the fact is that you can't compare Symbian phones with Android

What is the essence of wasting huge sum of money on HTC, s4 and co when I can as well get almost the same qualities from an affordable Tecno phone. We all have different tastes anyway. As for me, games, graphics and screen size is not an issue. As long as I can use these amazing apps(both learning, sporting, entertaining and so much more) and getting maximum utility, I'm sticking with Tecno Android all the way, already used d5 and currently using n3 and very soon switching over to p3. For one to be successful in life, no matter how rich, he needs to consider things that are affordable and those that are avoidable. Don't forget that we also have what they call opportunity cost o

Please guys do you know if Funaab would ask for jamb slip/reg. number as part of requirements for the admission. I'm not talking about the DE slip o.

chiwuike20: just as children blame their parents 4 not being somebody in life, we blame dibu 4 our failures. We 4get dat parent progressed in life without having a sponsor. Its high time we woke up to taking responsibilities, especially when it comes to d outcome of our action. I've observed dat most of d people who complain r secondary sch leaving student who mostly read essential textbooks in preparation 4 an A'level exam like Jamb. I think d people who spur students into complaining instead of accepting responsibility r teachers. They succeed in convincing student dat jamb is no big deal and if they attend their personal coaching classes they'll excel, even score above 300. I want to challenge teachers whom claim dat jamb questions r cheap to write jamb to prove their claim. Probably they'll score above 300 since its dat cheap. Students shud stop wasting their energy complaining, instead, redirect it to qualitative study to guard against further failure

Yeah, I said it once that this year's jamb questions were more than cheap and as a math teacher, I accept the challenge. I can say it again any day,anytime that this year's maths was the cheapest I've ever seen and I don't see any reason why I shouldn't get 98 if not 100. It's just a pity that many students were robbed by these scammers who call themselves jAMB and it's also painful that many people who didn't fall victim of the robbery keep saying it's either due to students' laziness or addiction to social networks. A lot of people cheated, changing their types and still managed to get good results, way above 200 whereas some innocent serious and brilliant students got poor results. Although, I won't dispute the fact that student's no longer study hard with diligence but it's quite obvious that the grading of this year's UTME is a mystery and it didn't show student's real performances. I doubt if the 10 candidates who they claim got 300+ can even pass Junior WAEC. Just saying.

I did part time in an annex, computer science and I graduated last year. I'm looking at the possibility of submitting just the print out and the o_level result. Cos, it's certain that the results would be out before admission starts.

switchie: pls i need somebody's help here,i rooted my tecno n3 then after 3months of usage i wanted to swap my sim so i switched it off but on trying to switch it back on it just kept loading so i saw a phone engineer and he told me the problem was flashing,i gave it to him but it didn't work because after i rooted the device earlier i deleted the launcher(actually i wasn't the one that rooted it myself) that came with it because i downloaded another 1 from play store,now the phone could not be flashed according to the engineer but i know the phone has flashed because it has stopped loading eternally but the problem i have is the launcher,the phone just keeping showing a dark blank screen and i can only see the notification bar or whatever it is called and i know it's the launcher i deleted that caused the problem.pls i really need your help asap.

If you're sure that it's because of the launcher, then you can use someone's phone then send it to your phone. Simple.

We all know that 1+ 1=2 so if your child or student came back from an exam and told you he chose 2 but the results came out depicting another thing, will you still say you can't vouch for him just because the question must be tricking. ekwah: I don't mean to be rude sir, but I am pretty sure you you will acknowledge the fact that more students have become less hardworking in their studies because most Nigerian teachers aid them in different external exams malpractices. This of course doesn't mean there are no hardworking students out there.This is the point I am trying to make:

Long term exam malpractices => lower overall student study-drive => poor performance on exams. Please don't try to blame the GRADERs of an exam as the reason for students' poor performances! As far as I am concerned, if one uses the right approach to prepare for Jamb, it becomes as simple as A B C. Daz all.

Lyk I said earlier, this year's utme wasn't a matter of how a candidate prepares because the questions were so cheap and students all came home after the exam celebrating because they were sure of what they did(after months of thorough preparation) which I confirmed, only to see something different in their result. So what are you saying? I can stand for my students any day, anytime. Let jamb produce their jamb scripts and prove how these ridiculous results came to be.

yes I do, cos as a teacher, I know how it felt when my best student who uses jamb's math as a toy or foot mat, was given 47 in an exam I examined and realized he ought to get nothing less than 90. As in the questions were Damn cheap. The students were also given thorough orientation on what to do wit their OMR sheet with practical, so no one should tell me they all made a mistake in shading the types they answered

After going through the 10 pages of this thread, I've seen how hypocritical people can be. Although it's quite obvious that the rate at which students now study is nowhere near what it used to be but I'm very sure most of you who claim you spent all day studying without any distraction such as the social media would do more than what these guys are doing cos you probably might not get up to 150. Apparently, this year's utme wasn't based on student's performances at all but criteria best known to jamb alone. My students all studied which I can testify to, but . we're still given unjustified marks. So please stop saying the mass failure was due to laziness, unseriousness or addiction to social networks. I pray God console those of you that fall victim of this mysterious nd wicked act.
