He was a mini rogue. He was always stealing my stuff - from money, to chocolates,La Casera/drinks in the fridge (no I ain't petty), then he graduated to stealing my flat-mate's jewellery. That was when I finally told myself I was done with his pilfering butts ![]() P.S : All these happened within a month -October 1st to 31st ![]() |
It depends on what part of Lagos you live in that you can say Fashola is over-hyped or over-celebrated. I stay around Sabo Yaba and i can tell you he's done a FANTASTIC job around my end, Go to Alagomeji/Ebute Metta, you'll definitely understand my point, I don't know much about architecture and all but i think those complaining about the flood should look at where they live to start with,Topography e.t.c. I've been living at Sabo for almost 10yrs and we've never experienced any form of flooding. The drainage system is alright. The people living around Alimosho,i still don't know what their issue is with this present administration because i heard NOTHING has been done in those areas. Have they presented their case to the government? Protests and all? As regards health,my boyfriend's mum works at LASUTH. The whole hospital has been transformed. You should visit the Pediatrics wing;you'll never visit a private hospital again, I also visited a friend who gave birth to a baby boy in a local govt hospital around Ijaiye;clean environment, just 2 mothers in a ward, clean toilets and all (and it wasn't a 'Private Ward). On education, people say public schools aren't bad though, You should visit Ibadan (where i work) and check out their public schools. You will weep. Transportation;someone complained that BRT fares were increased. So the fares should be stagnant till eternity? The workers will request for increment, the buses need maintenance, how about fuel/diesel? And you expect fares to remain static? We all should understand that Rome wasn't built in a day,to say Fashola hasn't done anything is the most retarded statement I've heard in recent times, Fashola is not over-hyped or over-celebrated. He's doing a great job and he'll still do more. This is my personal opinion and I'll appreciate it being respected. ![]() |
Sorry @Eko Ile, please can i have the name of that government school? Thanks a lot! |

In the next 100years,people will think Mandela/Awolowo/Abiola/MLK were born of virgins. We are deifying these people at an alarming pace and it moves further away from their humanities. @ OP, do you realize that over a hundred thousand Nigerians are also qualified (or more though) for that same position and i bet you they'll never smell it till they die. Lil' Awolowo should kindly go rest with the little he's eaten. He obviously rode to where he is on his father's name anyway, lonewolf:That's absolute blasphemy and i hope the OP knows that! |
tboy1:White ke?? Na EFCC office him dey go no be House of Reps or a function, EFCC, No 'respecter' of outfits and colours, ![]() |
Silly That's quite mild. My boss once told me i didn't come to work with my brains ![]() |
Sorry,how can one reach you?? ![]() |
My sis had it way back and she was advised to use breast milk but she couldn't get(I ain't sure of its potency though), She ended up using water and sugar, Get a clean bowl and pour little water, add little sugar to it and make sure it dissolves entirely, Make sure your hands are clean before administering it to your eyes though, I guarantee you, after 2days,you should be good, Best of luck! |

If this story is anything to go by,Buhari is a religious extremist; Islam at that (with due respect to all Muslims please);he will NEVER have a woman as his running mate. Though the offer looks good,Okonjo-Iweala is 'sellable' any day but Buhari won't buy the idea one bit. But i owe him my vote any day anytime. |
Felibaby:That got me laughing real hard, ![]() |
Well,it was a bit informal for me too, His mum and his only sis just got back from an owambe so they were in a lively mood. His mum later told me that she liked me straight up cos i knelt down fully to greet her which was/is normal to me but my fiance and his siblings unfortunately aren't the type. So she was a bit awed by that single act. His dad isn't a friendly person (even to his kids) but his mum and i are very close, ![]() |

*scratches head* My baby dances horribly honestly, and he has an annoying way of ), He sure knows I'm a better dancer though he's trying to get better on a daily basis cos I've warned him that the money i make on our wedding won't be shared by both of us but me alone, So he'd bera learn to 'komole' asap ![]() |
I've always been a Fashola fan;not necessarily the party and the debate further convinced me that Fashola sure still remains the man. We're all entitled to our individual opinions but like someone rightly stated earlier,Dosunmu looked and talked like he strolled into the venue from a pepper soup joint. Even after Fashola refuted his LIE as regards both of them applying for a job together in the public sector;what did Dosunmu do or say ? He was laughing!!!!! That shocked me (well, maybe i just feel you don't go to places like that and start cooking up lies). Fashola's administration sure isn't flawless but I'm sorry,I'd rather pitch my tent with him than go with Dosunmu. My vote is too precious to me, ![]() Baba Historian Randle got what he requested!! Fashola in my opinion didn't insult that man. How about when Randle called Fashola 'awon omo ti o leko' (manner-less children). Saying that to a sitting Governor (young or not)!! If OBJ had said that to Randle, would he have replied in that fashion? If i dey Fashola's sneakers,i for tell Randle say 'Papa,we're even'!!! ![]() |
Please who knows anyone in charge ![]() ? ![]() |

abes:You and I know the governor won't turn up, We had something similar to that last year when the appeal court ordered the re-run of a senatorial election (can't remember the constituency right now);all other aspirants turned up (ACN/ANPP/LP and others) but the PDP candidate (Osinowo) didn't turn up and guess what? She won again! ![]() |

@canales, I understand your point. But the truth of the matter is this;elections are rigged on a daily basis, It's not like we all won't vote for the right man when he comes forward, but will our votes count?Everyone in Ibadan knows Akala didn't win 2007 elections(forget about Appeal Court rigging or ruling), |
@nuttyp; it's pretty obvious you don't live in Ibadan, You only listen to Ibadan news via B.C.O.S.(wrong medium i tell you), Let's not call a spade an agricultural product;it's a spade for crying out loud. You need me to help you with a better aspirant;I'll definitely help you. Dr Ismail Adewusi and Chief Femi Lanlehin are better candidates. These are intelligent minds;not rascals. Akala can't even engage in a decent conversation without yelling 'Oyato'. Nobody hates him;he's not just performed, because some people will say 'oh, you need to meet him personally to know he's a nice person'. I don't need to meet my governor personally to know how nice he is. Oyo state needs a new governor,a learned person, someone who has the interest of his people at heart, The state is really backward and he (Akala) knows it, Nuttyp, come down to Ibadan,I'll accommodate you for the weekend and we'll tour round Ibadan;by the time we're through, you'll readily admit that Akala and excellent should never be in the same sentence unless for negative reasons, |
Akala now has a new identity i guess? ![]() |

Whats my own.
We've broken up doesn't mean it's the end of the world--doesn't mean we can't still be friends--
