That dude is simply whack. He annoys the hell out of me whenever i see him on the TV screen. Please and please, Tony quit music and invest your money.

I'm laughing so hard I've got tears in my eyes, You need to go listen to Money Maker ft. 9ice;you can't help but weep for Tetuila's horrendous voice, I couldn't help but curse the radio station/presenter/owner, His voice is something i can't describe easily, grin grin with his thick accent, Jeezzzz

In the female wing;someone should kindly tell She-Baby(what a name)to go find something else to do?That girl is "talentless", and she feeling sexy with herself/voice is something i still find difficult to comprehend,
That person should equally tell her to stop wearing rags to parties!
Goldie is one other music-miss-road,
Dem plenty jare!
Celebrities / Re: Who Wants To Be A Millionaire - Wale Scott A Disgrace To Nigeria Journalists by matiltomd(f): 10:59am On Jun 11, 2010
@Tcrack,kindly read your comment all over;are you making sense at all? You said Wale and his employees would have made sure it was never aired:do you think MTN is a group of market women? In case you don't know,MTN pays Inspiration millions every month on adverts so Inspiration can't threaten them;rather it's the other way round(not with radio stations springing up everyday in Lagos).

Nothing was scripted at all,you can still say tension, but definitely not scripted, and i still insist,Wale would be foolish to agree to a script that'll make him look retarded in his field! We all make mistakes but that was unpardonable,
Career / Re: Highest Paid Professionals And Most Lucrative Profession In Nigeria by matiltomd(f): 9:10am On Jun 11, 2010
@Reality101;let them catch you, they'll eat you raw, lol

but i think I'll go with politics, It takes professionalism to be a successful politician;they are the highest paid Professionals and politics is the most lucrative profession in this country, Oil workers should forget it,because a politician will own an oil company,so he'll employ them comfortably! Bankers ke?when a politician fit own a bank, Gimmie another profession that can compete favorably with politics, and I'll show you Alao Akala's bank statement(s), lol

Tcrack:

I dont think you all  realize that WHO WANTS TO BE A MILLIONAIRE   (atleast the celebrity version) is a  recorded show in which  everything that happens there is based according to a script. do you really think anyone wont know which African countries are in the world cup? a sport journalist for that matter.
if wale scott had given the answer, how will Father Bassey be a part of the show?
Abeg learn somethings about such shows  before you come here and start talking trash.

I'm shocked! So you mean Wale Scot would have agreed to a useless script that will portray him as unintelligent? On top money wey no be him own,  Can you agree to that? This is distasteful,
Celebrities / Re: Who Wants To Be A Millionaire - Wale Scott A Disgrace To Nigeria Journalists by matiltomd(f): 3:55pm On Jun 09, 2010
Ournaija:

Not the Wale Scot I know. It must be a Scotlet.

Now that's hilarious,
I sure think Wale is whipping himself right now,so please let's not compound his worries, but this is pretty funny,
I've never been a fan of Wale Scott anyway cos he's delivery is too fast for my liking and he's a bit negative on air;he's far from diplomatic in his views, I preferred him when he was with Silverbird.but he lost it when he got to Inspiration,

Or maybe Frank intimidated him, grin grin
TV/Movies / Re: MTN Project Fame West Africa: Season 3 by matiltomd(f): 4:47pm On Jun 07, 2010
A colleague of mine who actually studied music in the UK went for the audition in Ibadan (she's good honestly and not cos she's my friend), they had this female judge (Sola Allison) and was she nasty? Whoever she gave a passmark must have been a family member, I work on the radio and a lot of people came with complaints about her, Blackky and the other Tinubu dude were OK,but i guess Sola thinks too high of herself, Funny enough the girl is equally a presenter as myself,i did advise her that her time will definitely come and maybe not via MTN Project Fame, But the organizers must understand that Sola Allison didn't do a fantastic job, (or was that the script she was given?)
Culture / Re: What Is Your Take On Homosexualism? by matiltomd(f): 1:05pm On Jun 02, 2010
If God wanted people to be queer; He would have created Adam and Steve, cheesy cheesy

But on a serious note,I don't think it's a brilliant act but there's nothing i can do about it, I met a gay dude sometime ago and he had such a wonderful mind,he was so humble and intelligent;i just couldn't help but wonder how he could think of doing it with a fellow man(I already have goose pimples here). I only try not to criticize them,
Celebrities / Re: Muma Gee And Lies About Her Age by matiltomd(f): 11:37am On Jun 02, 2010
I don't subscribe to the general saying that all women lie about their age;because I've never lied about mine,
About Muma Gee and her age;well,I'm not her mother, but i know she's closer to 37 than 30, lol
how can that woman be 26/27? that's insulting to all those in that age bracket, lol

Jonathan to me is kinda smart. Or better still,he sleeps with '48 Laws of Power' under his pillow, and his favourite law i presume is "Crush your Enemies Totally". Anyone blaming this man is yet to taste power. How on earth should you surround yourself with people who didn't/still do not like u?and u call urself d President of a country-Nigeria at that, See,"u wanna work for me,u must LOVE me", D president is d only Don Vito Corleone, The Barzinis and Tattaglias should all be wiped out!! I don't think theres a large enough following in Nigeria and definitely not sufficient enough to sell out a concert but hey, you never know.

I remember back in school when we had a show and we invited a "naija crooner of international status now", i was part of the organisers of the show and quite right he had his demands as regards logistics (transportation & accomodation) and all but we ran outta cash so couldnt get him a room in the hotel in town and he didnt mind he bunked with one chassis female student that night that we arranged for him grin grin. He was supposed to stay for one night he ended up staying for 2 claiming he was signing autographs.

Till date i respect that artist cos he flowed with us.

Kiss me if I'm wrong, why am i thinking Innocent Idibia? grin grin grin Sigining autographs? maybe on their mattresses, I laugh in Latin grin grin grin

I've seen the movie in question "Alfa Sule" and to be candid, there's no need to kill a fowl over it, let alone human beings. I think it's high time Islamic leaders in Nigeria behaved like true religious leaders.

So who has been collecting the rent?,,

I knew someone will definitely ask this.i was thinking of this also.who have they been paying to?DHL isn't a shop in Balogun Market or a telephone business center. Why are they talking as if what we're talking about is just an "ordinary space" that one agbero will just come and overthrow. after all, they still paid some money September last year-fine! who did they pay to?or is DHL this weak?do they need outsiders to think for them?then why call Obasanjo in the first place?na im them pay to?that sounds a bit retarded to me, that means i can go tomorrow with some agberos to torment and extort money from them, hiss

at least it feeds a whole lot of families, they are not jobless neither do they spend all their precious time on NairaLand, they make a name for themselves and they feed their families without coming to you for help, who cares about what a few thinks? Noone, and beside, they dont have to run off to the white man's country wipping old people's butt, scrounging train stations or sweeping London streets.

walakolobo:

[b]I am not a relative to any Nollywood actor, producer or anything, but i hate people who laugh at other people's source of daily bread, people who make jest of other peoples hand work, people who make jest of other people's effort without showing their own, i hate people who kill other people's intellect and make it seem they are nobody.
This only happens in Nigeria anyway

pls, take a second look at the italicized words(please try even though it's a bit difficult)-why did you contradict yourself? i was already taking your sermon as another opinion which should be allowed not until you contradicted yourself. and aside that, those "butt wipers, train station cleaners and London street sweepers" have once sent you money before o, which you went to Western Union with glee to cash abi? you also said they are not jobless, they don't spend their precious time on Nairaland;but Oga-don't you think you're in the wrong place cos this is the same "NAIRALAND"!!!! that you think is for "jobless" people, but hey, welcome to the fold!!!! grin grin
Music/Radio / Re: Nigerian Album Of The Year: 2009 by matiltomd(f): 2:11am On Nov 21, 2009
Well,we've had cool albums in 2009 that aren't up there but all the same,to pick from the aforementioned,

i think Wande takes it no doubt,
Bracket? not really a fantastic album, with almost the same beat and rhythm all through, but they are quite lucky though.
DaGrin ain't bad though, U need to listen to Kondo (Magic Stick,Holla Holla,Pon Pon, and Thank God ft. Omawunmi)
Omawunmi, well I'm yet to listen to her album though the first single was quite cool
Terry G, very boring album, same beat and rhythm all through (far from creative) and a very ugly looking album sleeve.
Psquare, that album is really growing on me big time,(though with "stolen beats" here and there),I've got about 5 songs I'm crazy about on the album , maybe u should listen to Possibility ft. Tuface, that's HOTTTTT, smiley smiley

@Poster,you're wonderful, but how about the Yoruba movies??
Written, produced and Directed by Saidi Balogun(who happens to be the main character in the movie)
A rich man's daughter with the same hairdo from the beginning of the movie till the end (even on her wedding)
A big boy who's supposedly educated (according to the storyline) saying "wheelshair".
Carrying a particular bag/wearing a particular dress/top/ankara/lace in more than two movies(it's obvious it's the actor's)
Once a pastor decides to pray for you, there must be a vision while he was praying.
Watching a 1hr movie filled with 25mins adverts of other films
The end part of their adverts, Grab your copy, NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It has now been changed to, Buy,Watch and Bow!!!!!!!!!!!!! You can't help but hiss

There they go again,'Omotola greatest Actress of all time' somebody is high on cheap chinese whiskey.Omotola is fine, that's where it ends,FINE! she is not even that famous as she's cracked up to be,I can give U ten very good actress who Omotola can't keep up with thier Pace when it comez to Skills, command of English Language.Omotola is fake with her accent and her grasp of english Language is just average.Am yet to see her move out of her comfort zone and do some good non-nollywood movies then we can consider her as one of the best let alone the greatest,Na BEANS,even if Na Beans e go take time to boil Na!

grin grin grin now that must be really awful,
but to be realistic, Omotola is a good actress, she's wonderful when it comes to interpreting her roles, she delivers well, i can actually remember her wayback in DayBreak with Emeka Ike and Olu Jacobs (that remains an all time classic). She's good and I'm sure a whole load of actresses that might want to compete with her grew up acting like Omotola in front of their mirrors.
But greatest Nollywood celebrity of all time? that can't be true because where is Nollywood Surulere i guess grin grin But the chick is good no doubt,
