Thierry Henry has revealed David Beckham convinced him to join the New York Red Bulls and end his career in Major League Soccer.
The former Barcelona striker said Beckham urged him to leave Spain and move to the USA - just like he did in 2007 when swapping Real Madrid for LA Galaxy.
Henry, 32, said: 'Yes, I did approach David on my move. He never said anything negative to me about the MLS and told me he enjoys everything in the game here. 'I respect Becks. He has been a great guy to me. He encouraged me to play here.

An anchor weighing seven stone was also discovered at the site, although investigators said it was unclear whether it belonged to the newly-unearthed ship.

The remains of a ship dating back to the 18th century have been uncovered by workers close to the the old World Trade Centre site in lower Manhattan.
Archaeologists said the 32ft-long vessel was probably used along with other debris to fill in land to extend New York City into the Hudson River.

Excavation teams at the World Trade Center site unearthed the hull of an 18th-century ship, and hope to have it removed by Thursday.

Workers first found the wooden remnants on Tuesday morning, and by Wednesday the outline of the ship became apparent at the site of the Sept. 11 attacks.

It is believed the ship was most likely buried there, along with other debris, to extend the lower Manhattan shoreline from old Lindsey’s Wharf and Lake’s Wharf further into the Hudson River.

Archeologists from AKRF, a firm hired by the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey to document artifacts found at Ground Zero, call the find significant and hope to salvage a few timbers. But they said further analysis of all recorded data would be needed to to determine the age of the ship.

On Wednesday, teams were seen measuring wooden planks that seem to make up the lowermost deck of the presumably early to mid-1700s vessel.

They say it appears the vessel’s hull was deliberately sawed off and the size of the ship could be about two to three time longer than the section uncovered on Wednesday.

Archeologists also found a 100-pound boat anchor, about three to four feet across, and a metal collar that appears to have been part of a steam mechanism or oven.

The area where the ship was uncovered, about 25-feet below street-level and between Liberty and Cedar Streets, was apparently never excavated for the construction of the World Trade Center, and workers are currently preparing the site for a future underground vehicle center.

In 1982, an 18th-century cargo ship was uncovered at 175 Water Street in lower Manhattan — six blocks away from the World Trade Center site.

I have a friend, we have been together for the past 10 yrs, after he graduated from school, he got a job at Ministry of Health as a gate man, he was earning N8,000. and he paid his tithes(N800). but fortunately for him after 2 years in that ministry work, he shifted to another organization (International Organisation) where he is collecting $23,230.6 per month. $278,767.2 per annum (to Nigeria cash its 3,484,590.00 per month)

now he is always busy in his office, sometimes, he go to work weekends, I asked him when last he pay his tithe, he answered "It has being long ooo" then you have to pay for this month then, i told him, he calculated the amount he was to pay as his tithe, he realised his tithe hits N348,400 approximately. he shouted, CHAI!!! I cant pay this huge amount of money to my pastor ooo, itss too much, let give them N10,000. i said no, how would he do that? but he instisted, House! is that normal?

Hey, Just don't know what to do right now. my GF is out of town and I promised I won't do our thing with another girl.
I havnt been in love for a long time since I broke up with my girl of over two years. But this time, despite our tribal differences,

I left them both and went to my neighnour's and spent some time. before I came back she was already in my bed room resting. At first, i felt wow, o boy see opportunity both on a second thought, i said not this time. my old self nudged me towards her but i seemed to be in control. I gently walked up to her and explained I am engaged and i won't want to hurt my girl. she was seething tears and told me she had dreamt of since last night she saw me.
