mancan92:Sorry I can't make recommendations. Meanwhile follow this thread for job openings in Abuja. https://www.nairaland.com/1257507/post-abuja-jobs-here/346 |
Interesting development, especially as Nigerians now celebrate Halloween. We are a lost and confused people. |
Abuja has a great night life. The city is peaceful and there are no traffic challenges like in Lagos. About employment though, I'll say its not so easy to get jobs as in Lagos. The city doesn't have so much of private sector involvement. Despite that though, you're always welcome to try. You don't know what might pop up. |
good idea, but Nigerians are generally bad people. They would steal your stuffs or gather sensitive information that could be used against you. Idea is dead on arrival in Nigeria, especially in this Buhari regime. |
There's a Yoruba proverb that is translated that the earth was formed on a platform of good and evil. Killing Satan would have made God biased towards goodness, especially as He gave man the ability of freewill, to choose either good or evil. It's quite simple, there cannot be good without evil as there cannot be light without darkness. One is meant to swallow up the other. |
One wise man said he's not afraid of werewolves or vampire tales, rather what real people do to each other. This is an humbling story of how money betrays individuals. I'm not one to judge the poor girl for the choice of her sexual excitement but whoever records that video and is asking for a ransom is one of her kinsmen, perhaps even from the same Anambra she could have brought the glory to. Some words are better left unsaid. |
we live in the days of bigger sized gala, pure water but smaller Naira. Funny |
mnairaland:don't format the disk. Download EaseUS Data Recovery Wizard online, when you do, get across. I will help you with the key. Your data will definitely be recovered, don't panic |
The way cows roam around Abuja these days, you'll wonder if grasses have outgrown residential areas in the city. It's so shameful that no one is doing a thing to curb this menance. Just go to Cotonou there if you will see a single goat or chicken roaming freely. If all animal rearers are allowed to keep driving their livestocks around, then I had better gone to get a large number of snails and let them cross a busy road on a Monday Morning, we see who will loose. No wonder average lifespan of Nigerians keep reducing. If those mangy and exhausted animals are what we have on our foods, then we should all be worried. |
Plus234:SOLD! SOLD!! SOLD!!! THANK YOU!!! |
Good morning all. Are you interesting in starting a fish farm in Abuja (i.e you have a suitable facility)? Do you have an existing fish farm in the city and you want to establish your hatchery or is the high feed cost giving you a challenge and you're interested in local feed formulation? let's get talking. Thanks |
We will not take this in Orubebe's voice. We need a seperate South West and Eastern States Development Commission too. I guess Igbos and Yoruba's finally realize that they are constantly being cheated by the Federal government. |
BornStunner1:Do you think Oduduwa is the mate of any of your Bini gods? Meanwhile, what are their names? You don't think we share the same level of civilization with you, Bini people as we are light years away. Meanwhile, best wishes to your king. It's the more mature way to handle issues at least. |
There is this Hollywood film for the unbelieving ones among you, After life. It is about a morgueman that do dress corpses for their funerals while the corpses themselves are in their conscious state. These stories may have some iota of truth. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/After.Life |
Do people still scam in this recession age when everyone's eyes is red? I really pity those one sharing job recruitment fliers on top pedestrian bridges in Oshodi. People don't even collect them again. Its a simple analogy, you can scam some people some time, but you can't scam all the people all the time. They have used BVN, job interview, once chance, email address and we've all found out, so what new tricks can the devil of these individuals device that won't be detected again? |
They sent me a message to go register too, after 3 previous attempts and they went as far as bribing me with 1000 naira recharge card. I promptly called a customer care agent and warned them sternly, even asked them to take back their card. I think the matter was promptly resolved as I got a message in effect. It's such a shame that a whole MTN Nigeria cannot keep an effective database. One or two information keep deleting from their system. I pity businesses that offer data management services with them, if they have such services. EDIT: YES, MTN does have data hosting and management services (see link below). For the love of Christ, if you are thinking of patronizing such service, better run away. Since they cannot afford to safeguard common sim registration data, how much more valuable company data! You've been warned! https://mtnbusiness.com.ng/services-solutions/data-hosting |
LOL. is it not the same Ortom that was drinking ogi in public recently? He should go and learn how to associate with the poor from Fayose, because he's obviously a learner. Meanwhile where is Benue state located in Nigeria? What positive strides have we heard from there in recent times?? |
It's really not easy being the Ooni of Ife in this age, especially as the young king tries to be cosmopolitan and all. All these fetish practices has a way of sucking up one's soul. The ooni should take a cue from MKO Abiola, whose installation as the Aare Kakanfo of Yoruba race resulted in the beginning of his problems. I'm a modernist Yoruba person, but I'd rather not be in tune with the dark side of my culture. |
You're right on this one. Glo has a really poor customer service. You have to find your way around like a blind person once you're on the network. The other day, I tried their data booster service, thinking it was supposed to extend my data validity but unfortunately I realised I just had less than 30 minutes to use the 1gig booster due to my validity finishing up. It was from a third party website that I found out what the plan actually does. The thing is we just have to put up with that. Next time use *777# to do any internet request. Best wishes |
Go and buy a Glo sim and switch to more affordable browsing. |
Pavore9:I thought the LASG already powers streetlight from waste products. It will be nice to see this demonstrated too. Will lead to a green and energy efficient Lagos. |
Tripleoluwa:for where? those types of Hyacinth have high tolerance to salinity. That's the best option. |
do these people think we are fools that they have to keep mocking us everyday? Why can't 21 secondary school girls grant a formal interview to a waiting press? These are just 4 girls sitting on a chair, while 5 names or so was released as against 21. By the time you're all through with your petty propaganda, let us know. Besides what effort stopped at 21 that couldn't ensure a total release of all girls in captivity? |
Great idea, but you need to work up your business development model. How much is my share if I were to help you? |
should we be expected to show sympathy for this monstrosity? Islam that is not known to show tolerance for other religion is now divided against itself. Such a shame |
PassingShot:yes, especially how Ethiopia, the only uncolonized country in Africa is a world power. If we were really such smarty pants like you wished, why haven't we found our way to greatness before the colonialists came then? |
Seems we ran out of criminals lately, so the Nigerian Police had to go and be running after people sewing uniforms in their college. Especially as DSS now break down doors, so typical arrests are rare these days. |
please don't add |
TheEastActivist:We Yoruba's are not like you, that feels insecure/threatened every time good news emanate from your zone. In fact, anything that will encourage you to begin your mass exodus is a welcome development! |
Nice picture. Its really a ladies world, contrary to what we believe. Whether we want to sell roofing sheet, milk, insurance, electronic equipment and now, university degree, we always advertise a beautiful lady. |
Notice how the halls of the two banks are empty during the demolition. Corporate organizations will not allow any of their resources to go to waste, yet the private individuals are collapsing in shock after getting a prior notice, albeit short. I really sympathize here, but I think these people ought to have quickly moved their stuff before that time. We all know how insensitive the government can act during demolition, so one must not be caught unawares. |
iamphilips:Young man, what do you know about development and indeed the internal issues of FUTA if you were really admitted in Daramola's tenure? Right from the time we were leaving while he was newly installed, there have been speculations of not utilizing funds as expected but they claim he's an economist so is expected to be frugal. I hope he is indicted to serve as a deterrent to others in his shoes. No more space for corruption in Nigeria |
