Where are the SME's in Kano state that wants to get the lion share of palliatives against the south's large enterprise spread? I'm very sure you're posting this from Canada. You don't even know the situation of things these days, Lucky you. In these days of AI and automation, that security guy receiving 20k should even be happy. Remote control gates are getting popular now. People order foods and contract cleaning services to professionals, so no need of houseboys and girls again. Moreso, our people won't just stop giving birth like pigs. The biggest mistake Atiku/Obi made is to rush to court and then allow INEC/Tinubu get on the defensive lastly. I know Atiku isn't really serious about his court case, but Obi assuming he had a case to really prove shouldn't have rushed in to present first. But then again, that would be an impossible procedure in court. When Tinubu starts his defense this week, he's just going to look for 1000 different loopholes in the "evidences" presented and knock out all their cases before lunch break. Obi allowed emotions and the energy of his headless mob push him into political irrelevance. He had a great support and goodwill from well meaning Nigerians in the onset till it took a dark turn by his followers. I heard someone presented the EU report released recently as evidence. Such a huge joke! Where was EU report when Trump Supporters were hijacking the US Capitol the other day? France is burning today right under their nose, but they can't write a report too. This is sad and funny at the same time. Coming from people that wants to break away from Nigeria with 5 states, now they want a country of four states where they can't stand each other. In this life, intuition is more about forecasting the future. You just know what will happen with evidences at hand. Many of us believed Peter Obi would win the election, I even voted for him. Despite all the evidences that he was being one-sided, riding on the wave of Twitter Obidients with their one-million match. As if that is not enough, some were still hoping that somehow the inauguration will not hold and Tinubu will be arrested. They started gathering some "issues" to back up the "prophecies" their daddy in the lord gave them in Church. Uptill now, a good number still believe that Obi is still going to win in court. With all these kangaroo evidences he's presenting that is tickling the go-to-court mob. Another set is still hoping that Tinubu dies, as he's not healthy enough to complete his 8-year regime. The funny thing be say obedient people are mocking this development as if Peter Obi would have done any better. Assuming he was president, things would have been worst under him because he would have just been repeating consumption to production many times. Igbo people no dey gree sell land to non-indigenes. They never give appointments to non-indigenes. They sure never protect non- indigenes. I was working in Owerri as a non-indigene when Rocha's was governor. Someone beat me up and almost mobbed me because I do pass his compound regularly without greeting him. No one fought for my behalf. In fact the worst day of my life was when I was travelling to Owerri. The driver stopped on the road and made me almost strip naked because his memory card was missing and I was the one sitting close to him. I cannot remember a day more embarrassing in my life. The thing is, what you don't serve to people, don't demand on a plate. I support this move bare chested. |

We are just too emotional about things in this country. For me to spare my data and time to finish the video meant I actually cared. Not everyone likes to be told the inconvenient truth. Very poor review video. You just spent the whole time worshipping the product. No serious tech reviewer spends that much time in the praise of a new product that you've not yet seen. You even lied that you used it, a product not yet released in the market till next year and when it does, for only US market. Do you think we are fools? You couldn't have said this more poem for an overpriced product with just 2 hours battery. This isn't the first time this product is introduced to the market. Seun raised a very important argument here. Is just that obidient are such sore, toxic souls, Since Seun has not exactly been showing sympathy to their messiah's cause, they will ever be on standby to attack his ideas. Civil servants are lazy, fat and overpampered in Nigeria. Here in Abuja, many of them get free vehicles to work, live in fee houses (Or paying next to nothing), gets wardrobe, and other allowances, some of them even have official cars, yet contributes almost nothing to the economy. They go to work Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays arriving 10pm and leaving 3pm those days. It is the private workers that bears the brunt of labour productivity in this country and no one is advocating their cause. I'll rather demand the government enforce increased minimum wage for private workers, albeit almost impossible. The issue of casualization of staff should be abolished. Moreso, for state governments that are bare paying salaries, where exactly will they get funds to pay an increase in civil servant's salaries? Dey play, just dey play! 4 Likes |

This is literally the first time I'm hearing anything about the governor and the state of Kwara, and the only thing is that the plane of the presdient of france landed in their airport. Since Kwarans decided to retire Saraki dynasty via the O too gee movement, development seems to have really too gee there. This proves that thre is no messiah anywhere. Meanwhile the other day I was discussing with a friend how I fear the capacity of this man as the new governor of your state. Akpabio tried so much with his transformation agenda, opening up the state. Udom too did greatly as a technocrat, building on Akpabio's legacies. Any weak move by this man will send your state spiraling into the shadows like Cross Rivers State, which became a shadow of itself under Ayade. Your new governor needs to focus on industrialization, attracting FDI to your state, marketing its potentials as a peaceful state in the south south with good road infrastructure, Easy access to markets, cheap labour among others. You don't need happy hour and surely not this long speech you've written in his praise. |
