I beg to differ. Maybe they don't know how to position themselves well for employment opportunities. Except if their village people are after them, foreign trained graduates have a better edge than locally educated ones in any corporate setting and no matter their grade. Some other things may be involved here. |
I think Mr Udom should know he's elected to a political office to transform society. He keeps attending one religious program or another like he's a new pope. When last did we see him commission a school, hospital or road project? Even Fayose is seen doing his official duty once in a while. This governor is so unlike Akpabio, his predecessor if I should say. |
When did Jesus say we must not receive chieftaincy title? Enjoy your life dey go jaare, Pastor, don't mind them |
Ontarget:I don't pray you would need to do surgery one day and fresh doctors are asked to take over while the more experienced ones retire for the night. You will understand better why practical experience counts in every field. |
Daddy Buhari, the champion of local rice, I hope that was served exclusively at your daughter's wedding, we really need to know. |
No wonder the country's legal system is awash with mediocrity. Imagine an inexperienced law student already a lecturer. What exactly does he have to impart? The same laws from textbooks he was successful at 'cramming'? This just looks wrong. |
Enough of this local rice hype. You have to taste it to know how inferior it is. I will never join them to buy that crap in 2017 in Jesus name. Even if foreign, quality rice is 50,000 naira, I'll still prefer it. Buhari will not change my taste. |
long live the Nigeria Navy. We have far places to go though! The strength of a Navy lies in weaponized aircraft carriers on the high seas. |
see the environment where such a sensitive surgery is being carried out!!! beside a window, when they are not removing boil for crying out loud. Someone even fixed a yellow toe in the theatre. How much worst will it get? |
well the issue is, as holy attributes, those words are always used out of context and is an abuse to those who venerates it. Ordinary everyday conversations should not have us using those words anyhow. Remember they have religious channels, so not entirely antireligion. |
ifyeez:do they pay you to do all these analysis? well let's see how the equilibrium will be maintained if everyone troops to rapidly withdraw their investment by January, that's if the platform opens. Some unwritten rules of being a Nigerian is never to be caught off guard, especially about financial dealings. He who must eat with the devil must have a long spoon. I think anyone that puts over a 100,000 naira into MMM this recession deserves to be taught a really bitter lesson |
Seun come and see them oo, they are forming secret cult on nairaland. What do you mean no Yoruba should enter here? |
They all seem to be very intelligent during campaign. All the brain cells stretches to full capacity, but give them a chance, these same cells go flaccid instantly. Well, no more old cargoes and refurbished politicians this time. Go home and rest. |
I wish he rather persuade market forces to reduce the price of rice this December. I would have personally prayed for him. Who Gambian mata help? He even frowns at Nigerians migrating illegally to Europe. Why not frown at your incompetency instead? Please God, this old man need more brains! |
when is the next Peacecorps training scheduled? |
I just pity the poor kids that will be recipients of this gesture. The food will be starved of taste and essential ingredients. If you've ever eaten NYSC food, you will know better. Also, most of them might not get to eat afternoon food again, as it would be an excuse for their parents that they've been fed earlier. I think the government should help them by NOT helping them with this program. |
They should allow the poor girl rest in peace biko. Death is always inevitable, we just get lucky or not depending on how soon we meet it. |
Prophet Lai Muhammed's revelation is gradually coming to pass. Like how Italians service Ferrari and change their tires in race courses, these two masquerades have started giving out jobs to mechanics, police men (or bribe collectors), bike washers, vulcanizers, toll gate operators, fuel attendants, gala/lacasera sellers etc. |
So this stupid plan is still cooking right? That was how Nigerians broke the egg of increased electricity tariff but stable electricity omelette never came. When they were awarding licenses to the big telecos for 4G spectrum the other day, they never thought of the repercussions in their utter stupidity. MTN and co are already established with calls and 3g internet where they make their profit. Had they left them with that, while the newer entrants dominated the 4G sphere, perhaps there would have been some price balancing. Take for example, Glo offers the same price for 3G and 4G internet. Who does that? You want quality internet, you are supposed to have to pay more. Now they want us paying even more for internet we don't even enjoy smoothly. Bunch of clueless idiots. The moment Buhari decided to campaign for presidential election will be the greatest nightmare for Nigerians in a long time to come. |
Maybe the two kings are really fighting the battle of whose rolls Royce is the biggest and they are just using moremi tradeoff as a pawn. LOL, they should both grow up. |
Some people just open their mouths and spill rubbish. The recession must be really eating deep into brains these days. After all the richest man in the country today is an Hausa man. You igbos hate yourselves and you think everyone project the same feeling towards you. There is barely any community today that doesn't allow an Igbo person to do business freely. Do we have to lay our lives down for you to prove a point? Well, I'm not like the idealistic young man who set himself on fire for Biafra's cause. Such a shame we got to know in 2016 |
Daddy Soyinka, your productive days are over. You are now a spent fish. You could not imagine the winner of a Nobel Laurette in literature could sink down this low in 2016. Trump is the new POTUS, just deal with it like any other diasporan. Let's remember how vocal he was for Buhari during the campaign days. We are still suffering today. |
I'm very sure nothing is going to come out of this publicity stunt. |
Oba Euware or what? Always in the news for awkward things. Since coronation, he's either banning funerals or demoting chiefs. This one na APC king oo. |
begreat:You're living a delusion. You need to visit saner cities to see how much more alive you will feel. Typically Nigerian, with their "suffer and smile" mentality. |
if indeed it's to protect newer entrants, then those ones have to realize their undoing. We need to launch a campaign to boycott them, because we didn't send for them in the first place. There was no public outcry for flamboyant and expensive 4g data, all we always demanded for was good and cost effective internet since inception. I am not surprised when a northerner is in charge of NCC. They never know the importance of data in the 21st century. Have you seen an Hausa man use a browsing phone? The ones that are privileged to have use it only to defend Allah related posts and buhari. They all don't deserve more than 10mb. |
begreat:Be deceiving yourself. Statistics show you're dying in traffic you're here congratulating yourself for working smarter. I used to be trapped in Lagos too, till my eye opened. You need to visit other cities without traffic problems and see if your smartness won't go on steroids. |
And children studying law in the University will be raising their shoulders at those in theatre arts? They don't know their profession is now worth a paltry 40,000 naira. May God help us. |
I've read it on Reddit how foods changes taste with high altitude, so airlines don't have much of a choice in serving excellent dishes apart from the cost cutting idea. Also imagine if you're served peppered ponmo with zobo/maltina and you're a first time flier. You won't want to mess up the toilet alongside others like you. Lol. |
Here is the thing, though personally I would have preferred Oke, but the wish of the people has prevailed. Mimiko messed up the state in his second tenure, yet he still wants to install a puppet to continue his evil agenda for Ondo state. I think Tinubu stayed clear of the election because he made some unforgiving statements during the previous attempt of Aketi and Ondo people held that against him. This time he made it look like he is against Aketi. It's all political trick. Meanwhile I hope Mimiko sets his affair in order. We all knew how he said Buhari was senile the other day. I hope the later is not senile enough to forget such statement and deploy EFCC after him immediately. Let's watch as events unfold. |
Nonsense. I will rather click the "how to place targeted ads on Nairaland" link below. |
We are really living in a shitty country with lopsided policies. Our leaders are such idiots. In a sane situation, does demurrage suppose to affect power transmission equipments that is meant for the common good? Maybe I don't know better, someone else should enlighten us further. |
