If you're going to allow domestic airlines resume, there is absolutely NO reason why cinemas shouldn't. The operations are exact. Same queueing process, same boarding and ticketing process, same seating process, everything! A flight from Lagos to Sokoto lasts 3hrs, 40 minutes, an average film lasts maximum 2hours. For crying out loud, why do they keep classifying cinemas with bars and hotels? They may be in the same industry, but their operational processes are east and west. In handling social matters like these, what to consider is not the industry, but how service interfaces with people. From China to Germany, South Korea, Australia, UK, parts of USA, France, New Zealand, etc...we keep hearing everyday about how cinemas are reopening. Nigerian cinemas have gone ahead to demonstrate several safety precautions they plan to implement when they open; 1. Operating at 50% capacity to allow for social distancing 2. Compulsory use of facemasks by staff and movie-goers 3. Disinfecting cinema auditoriums after every show 4. Strategic placement of hand sanitizers and hand washers around cinema lobbies 5. Disinfecting surfaces around cinemas frequently. 6. Hotlines for easy reach to NCDC |

it has become a normal or should i say its the new assigned duty for policemen who are at several check points to stop and search guys who look fresh, soft and dress well. the first thing they go for is your phone, now when you even unlock the phone and give to them the next thing is to check your social medias, the gallery and all in the phone just to see if there is any sign of fraudulent transactions, when you disagree with them they will beat you up mercilessly and even take u to the station for detention. the one that shocked me is on a Friday, that day I was stopped on my way back from class on bike, the policeman searched me and found a small Nokia phone with me,which he took out of my pocket and the next thing he did was to open my messages, check my bank alerts and I asked him oga what are you actually looking for and he said who sent me the #30,000 I received few days ago and what is the money for ? I started explaining from the beginning who sent me the money and what its for at last it all ended at bros u go drop something oooo or else na cell u go sleep and your people go still come bail u. I think or believe that some of them are not really doing their primary work, i wonder where this country is heading with all this things happening around.... |
It’s so unfortunate how a student will study engineering or other professional course in Higher institution when going for youth service He or she will go for 3weeks camping and after camping assigned to various schools as primary assignment to teach. How does that help someone Who have used 4 years or more to study towards achieving a set goal or desire to start Teaching. The Allowee is still #19800 no one is saying About it or the welfare of this corpers who are even sent to remote areas without adequate security it is high time we start protesting on matters concerning youths even if we can’t hold Street protests we can do that with our phones online.
