Can a Secretary of State deny such in U.S.? U.S Army killing American protesters on U.S. soil. I don't think you know what you are saying. Instead of the government arresting the killers it actively protected them. They did not even attend the panel sitting out of contempt. No respect for constitutional democracy. They saw themselves as superior to the Judicial panel of enquiry set up by a democratic governor and no sanctions from the president. That can only happen in a zoo.

Any group/tribe that does not prioritize education should not be allowed to rule a country because they will draw others backward. Ghana is making a lot of progress because it's leaders are academically sound. Northern values are archaic and outdated. As the saying goes, You can't give what you don't have.

The Minister for Labour and Employment, Dr Chris Ngige, has said more action is needed to solve the unemployment problem in Nigeria.

Ngige said this while inaugurating an upgraded electronic platform, called National Electronic Labour Exchange Centre, aimed at minimising the challenges facing job seekers.

He also inaugurated the Migrant Resource Center and Nigerian German Center for jobs, migration and reintegration in Lagos on Monday.

Ngige said, “We need to solve the problem of unemployment from the roots. Inasmuch as we know these are things we have been doing, we have not done enough and we need to do more.

“The money we use in fighting insurgency, and buying bullets, and aeroplanes, if we spend half, we can stem poverty, unemployment and violence from the roots.”

The minister added, “In Nigeria with our population, we have 90 per cent of the young population. For me, that is the greatest danger; it has already started showing symptoms and signs.

“There is violence, insecurity, banditry ravaging all of Africa; Nigeria now is getting its turn of the madness. For me as minister, while I thank the German government, ILO, and European Union, we need to do more.

“The Nigeria government is doing their own thing; we need more synergy, we need your funding to meet the people and stop them from even thinking of migration. Sometimes, they pose a menace, especially if they don’t have skills, but those who have skills, we need to regularise them and make them legal migrants and residents in your country.”


‘Nigeria will benefit from patient-centered pharmacy practice model’
The Consul General of Germany in Lagos, Dr Bernid van Munchow-Pohl, on his part, said, “Youth unemployment is high. I am happy to note that during the German-Nigeria negotiations, a total of approximately 100 million euros was committed by my government.”

He added, “Through the Returning to New Opportunity Program implemented, 5,200 Nigerians have found employment, 500 of which are returnees from Germany. Also, 1,700 Nigerians and about 400 of them who are returnees from Germany have benefitted from business startup support.

“These results would have never been achieved without the migrant resources centres in Abuja, Benin, Lagos and the Department of Wages and Employment.”

According to him, Germany is planning to advance its activities in Lagos next year with an addition of 2.9 million euros for extended regional outreach, neo-corporations for startups and the fashion industry.

What unemployment in Nigeria? Didn't Femi Adesina claim that Bihari has fulfilled his promises to Nigerians? What unemployment are they addressing again? Also, what insecurity? Nigerians always messing with crime scenes and DNA evidence! Evacuating without protective gears, no gloves, crude evacuation of body! I know these guys are just doing what they can to help, but this should have been done properly to preserve evidence and perpetrators' fingerprints. Naija police can't trace calls, track phones, no street CCTV cameras, no dashboard cams... police investigation in Nigeria is hardly evidence based! Nigeria is just too underdeveloped to be called a developing country!

That's what you get when a country is ruled by crude, uneducated, visionless leaders. They rather spend all the time and resources on cows. Nigeria needs educated presidents and educated tribes to rule it. An uneducated man should not be anywhere close to power. Ghana has benefited from it's cerebral presidents in the last 20years because they were sometimes Professors. The current govt in Nigeria is the most visionless govt in Nigerian history.

You might not know the value of those deaths though unfortunate. No developed society gets to where they are now without some people's ultimate sacrifice. Do you think America and UK got there easily? The endsaars struggle has added more pressure on those that delight in oppressing the masses. Even Jesus said the kingdom of God suffers violence and the violent take it by force. But those that died in the struggle are the true heroes of Nigeria. Whether you fight for your rights or not one day you will still die.

Should we continue to blame Europeans for the underdevelopment of Africa indefinitely? A fool at forty they say is a fool forever and Nigeria is over sixty. Malaysia/Singapore got independence around the same time as Nigeria and comparable in all terms but are we at the same level today ? A lazy man always blame it's tools for underperformance. Nigerians needs to sit down and solve it's problems and stop blaming others always.
