RomanceRe: Would You Marry Him - Even Without A Good Job by Maximip(m): 1:13pm On Feb 15, 2011
Whatever the guys age is, marriage should be the last thing on his mind with his current situation.

I don't advise any woman to get married to him at this point. What makes marriages work is not

the love alone.

Double N:
Please any advice on Top apps to download? grin
Some apps I think are nice.

IMdb and Movies - you can get info on upcoming movies and even watch their trailer

Android Assistant - Not sure how useful this will be but it was very helpful when I had some stubborn apps starting automatically

Goggles - Let you take a picture of a logo, landscape, face or anything and perform a search with it

pulse and stumbleupon - if you like to read

QR droid - generate and read a special type of barcode for anything

Heavy Gunner and Gun Bros - the funniest games i've played in the last month.

Would like to know the apps other are using too.

Obasanjo was there for eight years what exactly did he do.
Obasanjo is not the subject here. We're trying to move forward man. Even a mad man on the street will do better than obasanjo.

He is currently the president, he has had his chance and we've seen enough of it.
FamilyRe: I Am Tired Of My Marriage by Maximip(m): 11:21am On Dec 28, 2010
@poster, I think your case is more complicated than it may seem. A Nigerian man wants to have full control of his family even financially.

If you make more money than him or he thinks he is not in control then it'll be a bit difficult to communicate. He might be thinking some of

your questions and requests are just to exploit his deficiencies thereby ignoring or avoiding them.

I hate to be negative but at a point, you'll get tired of trying and seek for happiness from something else as you guys seem not to have any thing (as one reply said)

I think you should also print out your comments on this thread and let him read it. His reaction will let you know if your marriage is going to fail. Anyway, I don't think he is the right man for your proposed changes as unchangeable might mean he is irrational

Of course, depending on how ripe the r/ship is anyway.

My problem here is why the @OP didn't mention anything about the ladies getting gifts for the guys. Isn't that how
it's supposed to be undecided Its christmas .

Abt the 2.2 and the 2.1, they ain' much difference except for the speed so don worry bruh, I got time
Difference I've notice so far on the SGS

- It's faster
- UI Improvements
- Mobile AP now supports up to 5 PCs/Devices
- Disabling data services now very handy
- Voice activation for everything. Making calls, browsing, searching, maps, etc
- Take snapshots without the need for any app

has any1 been able to download the froyo/2.2 with the kies software in Nigeria?
The update has been available through kies for about a week+ now. I always start the process but my internet connection
always misbehaves somewhere in the middle and i'll have to start again.

You need to update your kies software first if it tells you the froyo isn't available.

Maybe you should update your firmware. Any sim I put in automatically
connects to the internet using the appropriate APN

@ na2day! and Okija_juju

The service providers in nigeria are not andriod friendly,

sole reason is that the andriod platfrom has its own way

of detecting apns , too much info. anywayz, i took a ht-03a

aka htc magic with me to nigeria hoping to use it with zain, no dice,

mtn?? same thing. every other thing minus wap portal and data do not work,

btw, on donut 1.6, there is an option called Simtoolkit, you can view the service

providers services like sending credit to another party etc
I didn't understand the bolded part.

Yes, it automatically detects the apn so you just have to get a data plan for it. I use MTN's
and it works ok.

The only problem is, I think some apps are missing from the android market. The paid
apps, I'm not sure if they are supposed to be there.

The Google navigation and Layar apps happen to be of no use here.

na2day!:
which android release are u using?
if u're using froyo 2.2 u can install or move d apps to d memory card, try and buy something like 16gb or 32gb,
currently i've 32gb on my phone! the internal memory of most of these phones sucks!
I don't have a memory problem yet, as mine came with 16GB internal memory. I don't just like the idea of tons
of apps on my phone if I don't use them so frequently.

I'm still on 2.1. Waiting for the official 2.2 to be made available.

Installed the JETFIT. It happens to be very useful as I'm also trying to maintain my 6pack   grin

The SHOOTME app requires the device to be rooted to work and even similar apps.

abioila:
neither am i suprsd u're criticising it.d most important tin is that symbian stil tops d market share.and about functns, apart from froyo upwards can an android device save apps on micro sd.and pls tel me what android can do and symbian cant.
Even if android phones could predict the future and print money, I'm sure you'll still prefer symbian. When I setup a screen grabber app, I'll post
some pictures since you've only been reading and not using any.
PhonesRe: Android, Anyone? by Maximip(m): 12:17am On Nov 19, 2010
@na2day

Seems you've gone through all the apps in that market.

I've got to the point where I try to delete an app for every new one I install.

How do you take those screen shots?

how culd i av usd meego wen d platform is stil being built.must i av usd these os'es 2 noe how dey work?2 dumb?if u noe these os'es wel u wuld noe what am talkn about.
Cool down, no need to get bitter about this little discussion.

You know, you can't really conclude on these things without using them. You can't also say an unreleased OS is better than an
already existing one. I read lots and lots of reviews trying to choose between Android and Iphone. I finally decided on the android and
I've not experienced any of the issues, problems, flaws I read about. If the hardware is right, you can usually find an application to do
what you think is missing.

I'm not saying what you said is not correct but tell us why you say so. Maybe you know something that
we don't.
RomanceRe: Lolz! Market Girl Is In Love With Me by Maximip(m): 10:44pm On Nov 16, 2010
2good:
My story:
Came from a struggling home but was very serious academically. Would go and sell in my mothers shop where she sell food stuff like garri, beans, palm oil etc. She also have a grinding machine which we use in grinding beans and pepper for customers.
Eventually I got admission into Unilag and couldnt even pay my first fee which as at 1999 was barely 3,000 naira. It was uncles that assisted me in paying that money. While I was in my early years in unilag, I was still going to my mothers shop to sell and grind pepper as explained above together with my sisters.
I eventually got some scholarship that elevated my life in Unilag abit, graduated and landed 3 bank jobs almost at thesame time. I left the bank after one year and join an Oil company where I was earning about 500,000 naira per month.
I'm currently in europe studying for my masters on full scholarship.
Summary
If you had seen me very dirty grinding pepper and selling garri 10years ago, you will not believe I'll get to where I am today so please dont look down on anybody because of their current predicament because alot of us find ourself in families where we struggle to survive from the start and its not our fault. It doesnt mean that we'll remain like that forever.
I also have friends with thesame story as mine so please treat every human being with respect cos you dont know what tomorrow holds for you.
Peace.
I like this story.

Nothing wrong with it. It's a good idea not implemented in the best way.

I guess somebody told somebody to get them a Truck so people could cheer them all
the way to their destination.

The guy implementing then rented one used for carrying bags of rice around,  grin
