Brethren,
This is a desperate and urgent call from the throne of Grace that the brethren in Christ are about to make the greatest error of their lives by selling off their kingly heritage for a mess of pottage called "change". Change into what? Change into what happened to Egypt , Sudan, Lybia, Algeria and Turkey which were once flourishing Christian countries but because the brethren there also sold their souls on the premise of "it does not matter" they became the last set of Christians in those countries! Remember Turkey! It was the beautiful Christian country called Constantinople! Today it is history! The foundation of the planned islamisation of Nigeria was taken in 1989 in Abuja by OIC. Since then they have not looked back! Our Government gave them a contribution of 21 billion dollars then! Wonder then where the funding of boko Haram is coming from? They have painfully now infiltrated one of the biggest denominations in Nigeria and offered one of their best Pastors -a Professor,a Vice presidential Slot! Now a larger community of that denomination now promotes this "change"! They did it in Constantinople ! Remember brethren, that the biggest denomination of Christians in the North - the EYN has been wiped off! All their churches burnt. You may say that it is the North it can't get here! They said the same thing in Sudan, Libya, Algeria and Constantinople! How come the brethren have become so dulled in the Spirit that they no longer are sensitive?
We may be the last Christians in Nigeria if this grave error the brethren is about to commit is not averted! Our Lord Jesus is greatly miffed by our irresponsibility as His Followers! How come we no longer hear Him! The Great shepherd of the Sheep! How come that Christians have forgotten that this country was made ungovernable by these same people and Christians are holding the wrong person responsible? How come? The signs of the eventual Islamization of Nigeria are awash in the 1999 constitution where Islam, Sharia are mentioned more than 100 times.! Not a single mention of Christ or Christianity! You say it does not matter. Now, mark it you cannot amend the constitution without a bitter progrom!
Brethren, the night is here! We must contend for the faith and our heritage which was handed once and for all to us by our maker!
Don't relent, sound this trumpet by forwarding same to all your contacts! We will not be the last Christians in Nigeria! Amen.
No matter how hard u try, ''religion and politics does not mix''. True christians have notin to do wit poltics, and that xplains y u are not even a christian!

Jonathan-Lai
*Says PDP is jittery over Buhari’s emergence
By Olayinka Ajayi
The spokesman for the opposition All Progressives Congress
(APC), Alhaji Lai Mohammed, in this interview, says those
who have been speaking on behalf of President Goodluck
Jonathan, make their principal look incompetent.
How do you describe the convention that led to the
emergence of Major General Muhammadu Buhari (rtd) as
the presidential flag bearer of the All Progressives Congress,
APC?
We are grateful to God, to be able to prove beyond
reasonable doubt to Nigerians that our party is capable of
internal democracy. We were able puncture the lies, as well
as the wicked allegations and unfounded truth against our
amiable party. You would remember that, from inception,
what the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has always touted
is that the APC lacks internal democracy.
Ironically, they were unable to conduct any presidential
primary. We did not only conduct presidential primary we
made it so credible, transparent and it became the toast of
the entire world. We thank God we were able to conquer
pressures from within and without that we should settle on
a consensus candidate. If we had done so, Nigerians would
had been robbed the opportunity of the possibility of
internal democracy in Nigeria. From the feedback we got,
that singular act has catapulted our party to a level that has
made us the party of choice.
Presidential spokesman, Dr. Doyin Okupe, recently, faulted
the emergence of Gen. Buhari as the Presidential candidate
of the APC, tagging him as the greatest mistake of the APC.
How do you react to this?
What is important is not just who emerged, but how the
person emerged. I think that is the reason Nigerians are so
pleased with us today.
General Buhari may not have been the best aspirant we have
in our party, but the manner we went about it convinced
Nigerians that, truly, the APC is ready to practice internal
democracy.
We scored two very important points with our convention:
the how and the who? On the part of Doyin Okupe and his
co-jobbers, I believe their worst nightmares came as a result
of the emergence of Gen. Buhari. Anywhere you see a sign
board that states: No thorough fare, it means there must be
a road there. Otherwise, if we made a mistake, they should
be happy. Why are they worried about our mistake? Today,
most Nigerians agree that the one person that can savage
Nigeria, presently, is Gen. Buhari. I say this with all sense of
humility, the major issues confronting us as a nation are
insecurity and corruption. Every other thing follows from
there. Gen. Buhari has the track record of being able to
confront the two issues. As a former military Head of State,
he confronted both. See, a corrupt government cannot fight
corruption.
How do you mean?
This administration is corrupt. All the people that surround
the government have one story or the other. This is a
President, when we handed over Nigeria to him, the country
was in one piece, there was no single square metre that was
occupied by terrorists. Today, over 22,000 square metre is
being occupied by terrorist.
When you need a man that can clean it up, it is only Gen.
Buhari that can do it. That is why they are worried. Frankly
speaking, this man’s personality has soared! That is the
reason Okupe and his colleagues are bothered.
But he has never won elections before. Do you see him
delivering this time?
That is correct. But there are many factors that have
changed. Buhari has never contested on a broad based
national party before. He contested twice on the platform
of ANPP, and once on CPC. Even when he contested on the
platform of CPC, the party was barely six months old, a
virtually unknown party. Today, he is contesting on a party
that has representation and spread all over Nigeria. He is
contesting on a party that can boast of 14 governors, and a
party that produced the Speaker of the House of
Representatives.
These made all the difference but, more importantly, there
is a time for everything. When he contested in 2003 and
2011, there was neither corruption nor insecurity. Today he
can be likened to Winston Churchill, who was the only Prime
Minister that could rule Britain during the Second World War.
Today, we have just one person, when he says he is going to
fight insecurity and corruption, he will do it because he has
done it before. Those that were hostile to his candidature
have turned around and said this is not about religion nor
about age but a person that can do the job.
But many people insist he is a religious bigot. Is that not a
threat to his candidature?
I strongly believe that is an argument that Nigerians are no
longer buying. If he is a religious bigot, how come he was
also a subject of an attack by extremists? If truly he is a
religious bigot, how come nobody could think or finger him
of sponsoring Boko Haram? How come the same Boko
Haram is bombing mosques? If he is an extremist, how
come all his years, he has always being running with a
Christian candidate? I think, it is part of the lies of the PDP
that have now blown in their faces. Nigerians, today, do not
give a damn, they want somebody who can salvage them, be
it a Christian or a Muslim. What Nigerians want to hear now
is how does the APC intend to rescue Nigeria by restoring
security and banishing corruption.
All the things Doyin Okupe said about Gen. Buhari failed
woefully. And under them, things are getting worse. The
people that gave Jonathan four years, do you think they will
give him four more years to mis-govern! He has no clue! He
has been given everything he needs in this country to curtail
insurgency. He wanted emergency, he was given, there is
nothing he requested for that was not given, but what is the
result? As we speak, there are over 300 of our girls missing,
recently about 100 are missing.
In a decent government, there is no President in the world
today that won’t have a clue about where over 300 girls are!
Should he have the moral right to say he wants to run again.
Even as an opposition member, I am very embarrassed that
the Boko Haram ragtag army can come anytime to abduct
our girls, mothers and children! And the government has no
sharp response except lamentation. We want somebody
that can take charge and truly act as a commander in chief!
Honestly, there is nothing President Jonathan can tell
Nigerians today. No President in the history of Nigeria has
been so warmly received by Nigerians as Jonathan, yet he
has left Nigeria poorer, more insecure and more divided. He
declared his rerun ambition months ago, but he never told
Nigerians what he will do differently. That means there will
be more of insecurity and corruption under his rule.
TAN Director of Communications, Dr. Udenta Udenta, in a
recent interview, accused the APC of fuelling the insurgency,
in the N-east. How do you react to this?
Most of the spokes persons of the Presidency make
President Jonathan look incompetent everyday. If your
house is gutted by fire, will you be looking for those that
ignited the fire or put out the fire? For a good President,
what he should do first is put out the insurgency and then
arrest those he suspects to be responsible.
How come that all these while, they are yet to pick any
single member of the opposition as being responsible for
the insurgency? Nigerians are tired of dirty whispers by the
Presidency. Is Jonathan an impotent President? There are
many laws in Nigeria, and no law gives immunity to anyone
sponsoring insurgency. If you say we are responsible for
Boko Haram, then why can’t you arrest and prosecute us?
We speak everyday and you know where we live. I think
Nigerians are tired of that.
What actually inspired the selection of Prof. Oluyemi Oluleke
Osinbajo, SAN, as the running mate of Gen. Buhari?
I think it is a masterstroke of the party to have produced an
accomplished person, a man of impeccable character,
integrity, excellence and a professor of law,a Senior
Advocate of Nigeria, SAN, a two time attorney general of
Lagos State, a pastor and a family man. I don’t think we can
get a better choice.
What do you make of Dr. Doyin Okupe accusing Gen. Buhari
of celebrating poverty by claiming to have only N4million in
his account and therefore could not pay N28 million
presidential fee to the APC and had to go a borrowing to do
so?
A man who has been a governor of six states, who has been
the Minister of Petroleum for about two years, Head of
State, Chairman of Petroleum Trust Fund, PTF, yet today has
no house in Lagos, Abuja, has no business, living on his
pension, this is the kind of person Nigerians can trust with
their fortunes. He is a kind of person that will tell you, he is
not in politics to make money but to serve his country. Gen.
Buhari is not celebrating poverty, but integrity and honesty
where as the Okupe camp is promoting corruption.
Do you see Gen. Buhari taking Nigerians to the promised
land?
Presently, if anybody can do it, it is Gen. Buhari. Because all
it takes is political will and track records. And he has both.

PoliticsNigerian Army Has Buhari's Certificates - Sahara Reporters by maximunimpact(op): 6:09pm On Jan 03, 2015
The director of public relations of the Nigerian Army,
Brigadier Olaleye Lajide, has dismissed reports in the
Nigerian media claiming that the army could not find
academic records of General Muhammadu Buhari (ret.), the
presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress
(APC). Brigadier Lajide described the reports as false.
Major General Muhammadu Buhari in military uniform
The military spokesman made the disclosure while
responding to a text message from SaharaReporters
seeking clarification about the status of Mr. Buhari’s records.
Brigadier Lajide affirmed that the Nigerian Army is in
possession of all records of serving, retired and deceased
officers since its inception. He added, however, that all
military officers are supposed to keep original copies of
their certificates.
According to him, in the event where an officer loses his or
her original copy of records, the concerned officer must
officially apply for copies from the army. He stated that the
army responds to such requests in an expeditious manner.
Brigadier Lajide told our correspondent that he was a
former director of records at the Nigerian Army
headquarters and had seen records of older and retired
generals. He added that he was in no doubt that General
Buhari’s records were intact.
Brigadier Olaleye insisted that the claim in a major Nigerian
newspaper, that the army could not locate Mr. Buhari’s
record was untrue.

that's an encouraging fit..i am really impressed with your able fit not being a deterrent to my fellow nairaland..

according to me,i never said anything about difficulty in abundant earning in my write up in the aforemention(try to improve yourself in quality interpretation and not jump into conclusion in a haste)..

what i said was that"any affected individual that eventually find herself in the aforemention should prolly strategize a good and impressive innovation"...because unlike other profession who hardly hunt for job many years..and dont pretend you know nothing about what's going on in labour market this 21st century..

your encouragement is quite welcoming and of ease but try to be realistic sometimes!

and by the way am still an undergraduate(studyin accounting in one of prestigious versity) ..but i am more experience and enlightened about this whole write up of mine
Wow! Accounting undergraduate? There u xposed ur ignorant in the labour market, what u are been taught in skul have little to do with the reality in the labour market and u probably have no idea how it works in the real world.

U are trying to make an impression about courses that are more profitable and viable if that's what u mean, as an accountant, u can work anywhere, just as an engineer can be a civil defence or banker.........if I have blamed u b4 pardon me because I didn't know I was trying to argue with an undergraduate who still depend on somebody 4 survival.

A guy like me have been in the labour force 4 over 6years now, I graduated and served 7yrs ago, I wasted a year looking 4 a job.....until I realised that I can creat one.

The whole story changed when I saw the inscription on an NIIT office: ''when others were looking 4 job, I have thousands of job to chose from'' when I saw that in entered for enquiries.

I was amased when I saw that I can make a career out of the ICT world. Today am a programmer, web developer and graphic designer, something that has nothing to do with what I studied in the university.

Not just ICT, we in Africa are lucky that aside from oil, other sectors are unexpoited, areas like agriculture, medicine, environmental studies, community development research, etc.

I bet u will not understand now because u are still an kid, but when u grow up u are going to find out that studying ''accountancy in a prestigeous university'' in ur own words does not guaranty u will be an accountant in the future. So have an open mind and be ready to learn.
EducationRe: Top 10 Worst Degrees With Lowest Potential For Employment In Nigeria Today by maximunimpact(m): 8:53pm On Jan 02, 2015
Its a shame that somebody will waste valuable time listing hot and cold courses in our institutions, of what value is it to those who studied the aformentioned courses? Should they denounce their degrees and take a course in medicine? Is that what ur point is? Its people like u that think education is all about getting employment, education is suppose to build an individual into creating something new, creating jobs, bringing innovations and improving the society.

You that composed those unprofitable list above what did u study in school? What are u doing for a living? Are both answers related? If yes then you are lucky, if no u better start telling ursef the truth.

In ur low thinking mentality of unemployability based on discipline, has the word ''enterprenurship'' simply dissapeared? I believe u are educated that's why u can post stuffs about education, but by posting above, u have not helped anyone out there.

What we should be talking about now is not about getting a job, its about creating one, the government are trying to disemphacise employments for the youths, they have started insinuating that youths should be instrument of job creation, instead of people like the OP that I assume is a youth to encourage job creation, he is preaching the old age sermon of ''go to school and graduate to get a job'', our society is indeed moving faster than u can imagin, people have started discovering alternatives to writing great CVs, they have started accepting CVs!

OP u need to wake up, wake up from the myopic view of the ''job hunt'' strategy to innovation and creation of jobs. That job u maybe doing now was created by someone, and u are satisfied been a subordinate for life, that's modern day slavery, simply because u red medicine does not mean u have to remain an employee of an hospital, a medical doctor can digress and do research in order to creat solutions for the so many uncurable diseases flying around.

So fellow nairalanders don't be discouraged by what OP said if ur discipline is listed above, u can challenge ur gots and creat something, so that people like the OP can beg u 4 a slot in ur business, and because dats his desire in life, he will be ur servant and u will pay him peanuts.

Last bullet: it is not about what u read in school that matters, its about ur personal talents that u developed over the years, most graduates did not study their dream courses, therefore we cannot base our personality and career based on the fact that we read one course or the other. I wish all of us a prosperous 2015!

I‘ll not contest 2015 election – Jonathan

BY DANIEL IDONOR
ANKARA, TURKEY — President Goodluck Jonathan,
yesterday, said he has no ambition to stay in office beyond
2015, assuring Nigerians in Diaspora that while he will not
contest the 2015 election, he will ensure that this year’s
election is free and fair.
The President promised that if voted in for the next four
years, he would ensure significant improvement in key
sectors of the economy — security, power, education, road,
health amongst others.
“Without security, there is no government. So it is not
debatable, it is something we have to addressed and we are
working towards that with vigour. But if I’m voted into
power within the next four years, the issue of power will
become a thing of the past. Four years is enough for anyone
in power to make significant improvement and if I can’t
improve on power within this period, it then means I cannot
do anything even if I am there for the next four years.”
Jonathan said this while interacting with Nigerians mainly
diplomats working in the United Nations Economic
Commission for Africa, UNECA, and the African Union, AU, in
Addis-Ababa.
While fielding questions from those present at the
interactive session on whether Nigerians abroad will vote,
Jonathan said: “I would have loved that the Nigerians in
Diaspora vote this year but to be frank with you, that is
going to be difficult now. Presently, the law does not allow
the voting outside Nigeria and so this year Nigerians in
Diaspora will not vote but I will work towards it by 2015
even though I will not be running for election.”
On the issue of security, Jonathan said the government was
doing everything possible to arrest the situation. He
disclosed that all those involved in the October 1 bombing
had been arrested and were being prosecuted. He, however,
said he ordered the release of the car dealers because they
were just businessmen who could not have known that the
vehicles were to be used for such heinous crime.
On education, the President said, the nine new approved
universities were to be specialised and to be headed by at
least three Nigerians experts in Diaspora.
On the concerns raised of having a database of Nigerian
experts in Diaspora, President Jonathan assured that he was
working on creating a forum for interaction between them
and government and also develop a database, where
experts needed to address the various challenges of the
economy will be drawn. He hinted that this was why the
Diaspora Commission was being set up as the bill was
already before the National Assembly.
The President also disclosed that the government is looking
towards reviewing the country’s foreign policy to ensure
that Nigeria gets maximum benefit from its roles and
contributions to international organizations like the AU, UN
and ECOWAS.
He lamented that right now Nigeria’s contributions were not
being recognized adding that “there is need for Nigeria to
have something in return for our investments. We are
investing so much but it is not being noticed and there is
need to reverse that trend.
On the concerns about road network and transportation in
the country, President Jonathan assured that the railway
system will be revamp because presently heavy duty vehicles
were destroying the roads. “Why we cannot have continuous
road maintenance for now because no contractor wants to
go into it because of the continuous pressure on the road by
heavy duty vehicles. That is why we are working to ensure
that we revamp the rail”.
