RealityKings1:
Humans are critical thinkers, I can't say the same about you tho. They can see nature and how they synchronise with the environment. They feel pain and loss, the same is applied to humans.
When I was a child, we used to have 2 pet dogs. One bad day, one of the 2 dogs was hit by a mad driver and it died on the spot. I went home and reported what had happened. When we returned and was almost close, we saw the other dog standing by the dead dog and was sad. If you can experience loss and pain, the next step to console is to think of the being in a better place deviod of pain.
The New Encyclopædia Britannica says: “As far as scholars have discovered, there has never existed any people, anywhere, at any time, who were not in some sense religious.”

Have you seen any creature doing the same like humans?

Well animals don't think about a creator that's why you can never find any specie of animals that's religious!undecided

Oga remove John 12:49,50. John 5:19,30 & Psalms 103:20 from your Bible.

"Bless Yahweh, you his angels who carry out Yahweh's command and do Yahweh's bidding".

Because the only reason why Muslims are fasting is because their prophet read about it in the Bible and he felt his religion won't meet the criteria if fasting is not inclusive but first we need to ask ourselves:
What is fasting? undecided

stop bringing all nonsense jw doctrine here. It wrong for to say that the Lord Jesus is angel Micheal. Very wrong. You guys have twisted the Bible to suit your doctrine.
Prove it wrong using the scriptures not just making claims and assertions.

Whether you like it or not there is freedom of speech, expression and worship so you are free to speak about what you know just as i am free to speak about what i know, all you have to do is present your scriptural backing but doing as if you are commanding others not to talk about their faith is Pharisaic.

Jesus is the Archangel Michael! smiley

NO, they live on instinct as they weren't created in the likeness of God so all they could think of is food, danger, mating and threat. You can only add something to it which they can never grasp!

Okezie5Regs:
Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of Lent, a 40-day period of fasting, prayer, and repentance observed by Christians across the globe predominantly members and believers of the orthodox Christian community. It is a solemn day, rich in symbolism and tradition, and serves as a reminder of human mortality and the need for reconciliation with God. But how did this ritual come to be, and what does it mean for Christians today? This piece is set to explore all that for you.

Origins of Ash Wednesday
The practice of using ashes as a sign of repentance can be traced back to the Old Testament. In ancient Jewish tradition, wearing sackcloth and covering oneself in ashes symbolized sorrow for sin and a desire for forgiveness. This practice appears in several biblical accounts more profound in the Old Testaments. However, only a few mostly prominent with this ritual will be discussed here.

Christianity Etc › Re: JW 035 What Is Faith In God? Abraham by MaxInDHouse(op): 7:52am On Mar 05, 2025
What most people have today is not faith but credulity!

Credulity is a willingness to believe in someone or something in the absence of reasonable proof.

Many are into religion because they don't want to be left out in the society, others just love to gather where people are making a showy display of their means of livelihood {1John 2:16} and still others want to have people who will celebrate their achievements.
A lots are scared of the unknown as the religions around them are saying so many scary things about the afterlife, and many also wish to see those who hurt them tormented after all everyone dies so they feel death is not enough punishment for their enemies.

But are these sound reasons for faith?

NO, These are credulousness!

Real faith comes from hearing facts about God {Romans 10:17} you will feel the need to know more anytime you are listening to true words of faith because it will concern everything that has to do with life in general and no selfish desires are condoned {1Corinthans 10:24, 33} as everyone is benefited from participating in the works of faith. Isaiah 48:17-18

Trinity has been existing as paganism before Jesus was born.

Why is Christ the angel of the Lord ?

But Christ, who is God the second person of the trinity.
TRINITY is a false doctrine!

Archangel Michael is the same person who came as Jesus. He is the WORD of God {John 1:1; Revelations 19:13} which means it's through him that all heavenly armies receives instructions from God.

He is the one standing for the salvation of obedient mankind and through his earthly mission many will gain everlasting life {Daniel 12:1} God has given him the authority to raise the dead {1Thessalonians 4:16} so with just a call all those in the memorial tomb will hear his voice and come out {John 5:28; Daniel 12:3 compare to John 11:43-44} all other loyal angels are reporting to him so they are called "his angels" Revelations 12:7 compare to Matthew 25:31

Satan is the head of all rebellious angels {Revelations 12:7} he deceived 1/3 of the angels to abandon their duties in heaven {Revelations 12:4} and they came to have sex with female humans {Genesis 6:1-2} he is one of the first sets of angels in heaven so Michael (Jesus) is waiting for orders from his father before destroying Satan and all other rebellious beings whether human or angels! Luke 19:27

According to the Bible:

FAITH: is the assured expectation of things hoped for the evident demonstration of realities not seen. Hebrews 11:1
Your faith will become noticeable as you work towards your expectations because with your actions everyone will see that it's real to you though they can only see you working but as for what you are working towards they can't see it immediately.

CREDULITY: willingness to trust something or someone in the absence of reasonable proof. This is what some are calling faith and since it's worthless they will later become frustrated and sad as it will never yield anything positive. Isaiah 55:2

RELIGION: Gathering of people whose feelings and hopes towards a deity is the same so they keep doing things related to what they all agreed upon as duty towards their deity.

FALSE RELIGION: The gathering of people whose claims totally negates their actions {2Timothy 3:5} so they are saying something but their actions says another thing yet they will continue to gather each seeking his or her selfish desire.

TRUE RELIGION: Gathering of like minded people WORKING towards what they believe {James 2:18-26} so unlike false religion where each person is seeking his or her own personal interest they are working as One body {John 17:22} for the benefit of all concerned. James 1:27

This is what many don't know but when they see a nice person blinded by false religion they will conclude: there is no God! Psalms 10:4

Q 12. How can our donations bring glory to Jehovah?

Prolonged drought in Zimbabwe. Millions were left on the brink of starvation, including a sister named Prisca. Despite the drought, Prisca continued her routine of preaching each Wednesday and Friday, even during plowing season. Her neighbors ridiculed her for going in the ministry instead of working in her fields, saying, “You are going to starve.” Prisca would confidently reply, “Jehovah has never failed his servants.” Not long after that, she benefited from relief supplies from our organization her neighbors were impressed, and they told her, “God has never failed you, so we want to learn more about him.” Seven of her neighbors began attending congregation meetings.

Very apt. I have observed that most people weigh in heavily on the outward aspects of religion other than what is inward, compassion, mercy, kindness etc…
Another problem most people have is not knowing the difference between FAITH and RELIGION they often misconstrue both! undecided

Isn’t it interesting that you who claim to love and Serve God in your own way is obviously unable to control your pride and emotions which is evident in your strong use of foul language?

Q 11. How have true worshippers throughout history followed the principle found at Psalm 96:8?

Give Jehovah the glory due his name; Bring a gift and come into his courtyards. Psalms 96:8

True worshippers have always honored Jehovah with their material possessions. Ancient Israelites contributed toward building and maintaining the temple. In the first century caring disciples of Christ ministered to him and his apostles “from their belongings.” And faithful christians also contributed relief aid for their spiritual brothers and sisters.

Q 9-10. What do you learn from Angelena’s experience?

A sister who lives in the United States named Angelena courageously defended Jehovah’s reputation at the company where she works. She was invited to a meeting where those who had recently joined the company were given the opportunity to tell their colleagues something about their background. Angelena prepared a slide show that reflected the joy she has as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses. However, just before it was her turn to speak, a fellow worker introduced himself as someone who had been raised as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses. He began to mock our beliefs. Angelena says: “My heart was pounding. But I thought to myself: ‘Am I going to allow someone to lie about Jehovah? Or am I going to stand up for Him?’”When her colleague concluded, Angelena said a quick, silent prayer. She then addressed him kindly, saying: “My background is similar to yours. I too was raised as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses, and I continue to be one to this day.” The tension was palpable; yet, Angelena maintained her composure as she shared heartwarming images from spiritual events she had attended and as she tactfully defended her beliefs. What was the result? When she concluded her presentation, the man’s attitude had softened. He even acknowledged that he had fond memories of growing up as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Angelena says: “Jehovah deserves to be defended. It is an honor to speak up for his name.”
