Q 8. What is one way we can glorify Jehovah? We can glorify Jehovah by what we say about him. Jehovah’s people are invited to “sing to Jehovah,” to “praise his name,” to “proclaim the good news of his salvation,” and to “declare his glory among the nations.” |
EXOUSIAng:What is your own religion? I asked this question because by the time i understood what Christianity stands for tears of joy rolled down my cheek and i keep thanking God for helping me to know His way: The narrow road to everlasting life! Matthew 7:13-14 I will love to know any religion that could make sense better than Christianity the Way {John 14:6} Christ Jesus who is the Prince of Peace {Isaiah 9:6} taught us. Matthew 28:20 Please let me know your own religion! ![]() |
MightySparrow:At least this can never come from JWs as we know the truth that miracles wasn't promised among the nations so it stopped in the first century! 1Corinthans 13:8 We are not saying miracles never happened but it's not what God uses to woo His worshipers unlike demons who always do supernatural things to keep their worshipers God only does when it's necessary even among the Israelites in ancient times! This is what Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah (Shadrach Meshak and Abednego) had to say about miracles: “O Neb·u·chad·nezʹzar, we have no need to answer you in this matter. If it must be, our God whom we serve is able to rescue us from the burning fiery furnace, O king, and to rescue us from your hand. But even if he does not, let it be known to you, O king, that we will not serve your gods or worship the image of gold that you have set up.” Daniel 3:16-18 Highlighted in blue shows they weren't expecting any miracles so if you're of the opinion that your God must always perform miracles for you to keep serving that's your own cup of coffee! ![]() |
@ 7. What special opportunity do we have? Many do not know the truth about Jehovah because Satan has blinded their minds by spreading terrible lies about Him so because we know the truth about our God we have the opportunity to set the record straight and thus bring him glory. |
MightySparrow:I'm not going through this circle with you anymore, my religion don't talk about miracles so go and ask those claiming they perform miracles it's what brought this case. ![]() |

With this it is clear that true faith in God has WORKS {James 2:18-26} these works connects people of all races to join hands in doing God's will. So if someone says he has faith in God but can't present the works connecting him or her with other faithful people globally such faith is idle and so it's DEAD! James 2:26 ![]() |
Q 6. Why do we love Jehovah? We love Jehovah because he is merciful, compassionate and empathetic. Jehovah feels hurt when we feel hurt, . He makes it easy for us to draw close to him as a Friend and he is humble. No right thinking person will not love such a person. |
MightySparrow:Out of all the commentators here why do you choose ask me when my faith doesn't talk about miracles? Surely you hate the truth! ![]() |
jchioma:YES we are all sinners {Romans 3:23} the term Heaven and Earth that will pass away is an irony God has promised long ago that the earth will remain forever {Genesis 8:21-22; Psalms 78:69; 104:5; 119:90; Ecclesiastes 1:4} so the Heavens and Earth to pass away are evil rulers who are like heavens above their subjects and the earth to pass away are their evil subjects all ruining the planet with their evil deeds: For they deliberately ignore this fact, that long ago there were heavens and an earth standing firmly out of water and in the midst of water by the word of God; and that by those means the world of that time suffered destruction when it was flooded with water. But by the same word the heavens and the earth that now exist are reserved for fire and are being kept until the day of judgment and of destruction of the ungodly people. 2Peter 3:5-7 Highlighted in blue: is it the heavens and earth that was destroyed due to God's anger in Noah's day or evildoers known as UNGODLY PEOPLE? |
Q 5. What reasons do we have to respect Jehovah? Jehovah is almighty; he has limitless power. His profound wisdom is clearly evident in the things he has made. He is the Source of our life and the Sustainer of it. He is loyal. Everything he does succeeds, and he always keeps his promises. Though we have good reasons to respect our heavenly Father. But Jehovah does more than earn our respect—he wins our love! |
Q 4. How did Jesus give glory to Jehovah? Jesus glorified Jehovah by acknowledging Him as the Source of his miracles, he also brought glory to Jehovah by the way he spoke about his Father and the way he treated others. |
mozona:Nothing more death ends all sinners! Romans 6:7 |
jchioma:God never mentioned a place of torment in the beginning it's either the sinner dies or lives. So the dead has no further case to answer because their death writes-off their sins! Romans 6:7 |
ZUBY77:You just took the words out of my mouth! ![]() |
MaxInDHouse:We can bring glory to Jehovah by telling others about his awesome power and his heartwarming qualities. We also glorify God when we give him credit for things we accomplish in his strength. |
Q 3. What does it mean to give Jehovah glory? |
sonmvayina:Just as the whole book is a myth shey? Why not smell what you trying to sell before advertising? Ọmọ the word MYTH alone has rendered the whole book useless so you are just spewing gibberish! ![]() |
thinkmoney:And this is your best shey? ![]() |
sonmvayina:So the message about Jesus being the Christ is true also just that everything is a myth! Walahi talahi Colo plenty for this world! ![]() |
Q 2. How did Jehovah reveal his glory at Mount Sinai? Jehovah made an outstanding display of his glory shortly after the nation of Israel was delivered from slavery in Egypt while millions of Israelites assemble at the base of Mount Sinai to meet their God. A dark cloud engulfs the mountain. Suddenly, a tremendous earthquake—apparently coupled with volcanic activity—shakes the ground beneath their feet while lightning, thunder, and the deafening sound of a horn fill the air. ![]() |
WantsandMore:I will like to know more about you. This is awesome! ![]() |
MaxInDHouse:Many people today are self-absorbed they go to great lengths on social media to draw attention to themselves and to their accomplishments! |
Q1 Many today focus on what? ![]() |
NomoreKobo:Your answer is found in Jesus' statement. It's not what you want but what God say is best. Faith has to do with what God say is the best so if you want to prove how faithful you are then you must study the Bible to know God's will and find out how you can straighten your way in harmony with God's will. He is not going to change His program for you rather you are the one who will find the way to join those doing God's will! |
Abraham's invisible friend has told him His program and the part Abraham and his descendants had to play so Abraham believe that if the worst comes he hasn't failed but his friend whose purpose Abraham now lives for abandoning his own this made things seems as if Abraham had no life of his but to just do whatever pleases his invisible friend. At a time three strange looking men were passing in front of Abraham's tent so he invited them for refreshment and so they accepted only for one of these men to start talking just as Abraham's invisible friend! What this man told Abraham seems not right so he asked: “Will you really sweep away the righteous with the wicked? Suppose there are 50 righteous men within the city. Will you, then, sweep them away and not pardon the place for the sake of the 50 righteous who are inside it? It is unthinkable that you would act in this manner by putting the righteous man to death with the wicked one so that the outcome for the righteous man and the wicked is the same! It is unthinkable of you. Will the Judge of all the earth not do what is right?” Genesis 18:23-25 Abraham openly challenged his friend's judgment and this man said what made Abraham feel it's OK. |
Let's take the life of Abraham as a case study. This man only worship the gods that his ancestors worshiped {Joshua 24:2} what Abraham had in mind is the same as we all do have: personal goals to which we are dedicated with all our strength, mind and heart. Abraham lived in a city we can call world trade center today with all his relatives until this God called and introduced Himself to Abraham offering to make Abraham His friend. Note that Abraham heard God's voice the voice of an invisible spirit yet this man accepted this friendship even though he never knew what this spirit had in mind. Next this spirit told Abraham to leave the comfort of an already established place of abode for a place Abraham has never heard of in his entire life. Abraham had to leave all his relatives behind just to be the friend of an invisible being. At the time Abraham had not had a child so this spirit promised to make Abraham the father of nations yet Abraham complied without hesitation. After leaving his comfort zone did Abraham had any child? NO! He continued following the instruction of this spirit for decades without a child of his own, himself and his wife kept doing whatever this invisible friend says while living in tents! To be continued.... |
Most people are ignorant of what faith is all about they assume that God must do whatever they want when they don't know nor care to know what is the will of God. False Religion has taught many that God has a will for each person in life making most people desperate about life and it's anxieties but is that what faith in God means? The man called father of all those having faith is Abraham. Did God had a will that is just in favour of Abraham Abraham? What was the will of God that Abraham had to abandon his own goal in order to fit in as God's friend so that he could become a coworker with God in fulfilling God's will for the human race? To be continued..... |
NomoreKobo:Your personal goal in life has nothing to do with the God of Abraham, He has His own program which all those having faith in Him held onto so it's His program they are working towards as He is leading them as His coworkers not that each person is seeking what pleases him or her then expecting the God of Abraham to support their personal goal in life. Abraham had His own life to live when this God called and told him the work He has for Abraham and his descendants so it's whoever support that program among the descendants of Abraham that truly have faith in this God not that each of them is pursuing his own goal in life anticipating support from this God. |
Give Glory to Jehovah OUR YEARTEXT FOR 2025: “Give Jehovah the glory due his name.”—PS. 96:8. FOCUS: Learning how we can give Jehovah the glory he deserves |
MaxInDHouse:Most people don't know the difference: :FAITH and :RELIGION That is why you need to define the two separately. Faith according to Bible is the assured expectation of what is hoped for, the evident demonstration of realities that are not seen. Hebrews 11:1 Religion is gathering like-minded people practicing the things related to the same faith. You can believe in something but if you aren't sharing this belief with anyone else it remains your personal faith until you have two or three people who share the same belief {Matthew 18:20} not forcefully but heartily as they are ever ready to work together as one voluntarily towards the fulfillment of their common belief it can't be called religion. What most people practice is false religion where their faith remains idle as it can't produce anything positive {Psalms 115:4-8} according to God's word such beliefs or faith is dead! James 2:18, 26 |
Fibey69:Well from day one Satan always have the majority which means if there is no divine intervention Satan's people will easily exterminate God's people because they are like 1-1000 in ratio. That's why the Bible say the whole world is lying under the influence of Satan going by the number of those on his side! |
