Unknowingly to Jonah that their king has a soft heart, the man heard God's message and declared a fasting throughout the city.

The bible says that in the garden of Gethsemane, Jesus left His disciples at a distance while He (Jesus) went further ahead to pray ALONE. So my question is, if Jesus was ALONE when He prayed, how did the authors of the gospels know what Jesus said? Nobody heard Him (Jesus) while He prayed because they (the disciples) were some distance away and besides the bible says the disciples were asleep.

If i wasn't there when Noah built an Ark to save all animals, if i wasn't there when Moses parted the red Sea, if i wasn't there when manna fell from heaven, if i wasn't there when a virgin gave birth without sex surely i have sound reason to doubt what is written in that book.

But with the fulfillment of Jesus' prophecy regarding his future disciples that i'm seeing today with my own eyes in a world filled with violence and hatred certainly whatever is found written in that book happened for sure!

If that book was fabricated surely an army of almost 9,000,000 couldn't have been formed out of people from different races throughout this planet yet they are all fighting for Jesus without the use of physical weapons but using just a simple book which calls itself the most POWERFUL WEAPON of all times! According to the Bible he gathered some people and turned them into an army but unlike the usual armies we know his own armies don't kill yet they achieved what no army has ever achieved on this planet!

As a former military officer what we are trained to do is not to kill our enemies as most people has been erroneously taught rather we are to make them surrender and join our camp under our commander. So when next you think of Russia and Ukraine war remember that all what the Russian army are supposed to do is win the terrorist over to Russia so that everyone living in that place may become Russian citizens no longer Ukrainians but since Ukrainians living there choose to remain under Ukraine the Russian army started killing everyone who will not surrender to Ukraine.

So what does this have to do with Jesus of Nazareth?

Well instead of using physical weapons where both sides will have casualties Jesus sent his own army to use psychological weapon.
With this psychological weapon Jesus' army will not only make there enemies surrender but also carry the psychological weapon and continue fighting for Jesus! Matthew 28:18-20

Today of all the commanders that ever walked this planet none could have his name last longer than a century before they are forgotten no matter how strong they may be after a century another army general will rise and change what the dead or fallen hero laid down.

But for the past 2,000 years Jesus' army has continued to grow in number and they have gone throughout the planet to get soldiers for Jesus using the harmless psychological weapon: Bible! Matthew 10:16 compare to Act 1:8

No matter how great anyone is on this planet they can only control the armies in one geographical location and yet their soldiers often fight for supremacy among themselves killing one another but with Jesus' war strategy no weapon fashioned against them could cause lasting harm {Isaiah 54:17} they keep on growing in number even though you can't see their COMMANDER! Psalms 110:1-3
