Godson1379:
Jesus Christ is the way, the truth and the Life and not religion and neither Jehovah's witnesses
I have heard that many times but it's not working because if Jesus truly have one organization of believers {John 17:22} who are united and have love among themselves just as Jesus loves them {John 13:34-35} one religion should stand out {Matthew 5:14-16} as his true WITNESSES! Act 1:8

So if all of you are denying this fact because all your religions have failed to meet up i have found one that's meeting up and i'm sorry there is no compromise on that.

Christianity Etc › Re: What Is The 'unpardonable Sin' Mentioned In Matthew 12:31-32 by MaxInDHouse(m): 7:55am On Jan 28, 2025
Digitmktguru:
What is the 'unpardonable sin' mentioned in Matthew 12:31-32, and can someone commit it today?"
All of us have God's given conscience so whatever religion we are born into there is this inborn tendency to do what is good but in most cases we found ourselves doing what is bad due to circumstances beyond our control! Romans 7:15-23

So God Almighty knows our limitations when it comes to our imperfect state {Psalms 103:12-14} therefore He forgives us in a large way if we repent! Isaiah 55:7

But why will God refuse to forgive in this case?

Well He (God) has set a time to correct some abnormalities that we ourselves knows very well that such things need to be corrected and He has given us signs that will help us to know when the time arrives but when that time comes and we see people around us working towards what God promised which is not something that's usual for imperfect humans yet we choose to oppose it after knowing that it's what God promised then it's like fighting against God's Active Force operating on imperfect humans to do the needful such evil will never be forgiven! Matthew 12:31-32

That's exactly the evil committed by the Jewish religious leaders of Jesus' day, they knew everything God promised about the Christ and how imperfect humans will start working with him but due to their own political ambitions they began fighting against what they themselves have taught the people to believe for ages!

Digitmktguru:
"If God is love, why did He harden Pharaoh's heart in Exodus 9:12?"
i will be glad if you can give me biblical explanation to this?
Rhetorically it's an idiom not literal!

God hardening Pharaoh's heart doesn't mean God turned the man's mind against Himself rather it means God allowed Pharaoh to keep doubting His mightiness.
The best form of defense is to attack so if God the Almighty is pleading with a mere mortal like Pharaoh when He could just cripple him so that he can't walk surely he will realize that there is no security preventing this God from reaching him.
However God only wanted to send a warning signal to all the inheritants of Canaan so that they may leave the place for His chosen people after hearing how He journeyed with two feeble octogenarians to the world's most powerful nation and released millions of people who were serving as slaves without a single fight.
An adage says "you are to blame for mating with their wives instead of mating with their mothers to prove your superiority"
If God allowed Pharaoh to keep seeing himself as King and God standing in the way of liberty for God's people that is tantamount to giving the man some liver to resist the order from the Almighty God!

While you are going about avoiding the question, listen to Oluoma talk to you about the interpretation of Paul's instruction to Timothy, the same thing I told you, that Paul was not condemning polygamy when he tokd Timothy a bishop should be husband of only one wife. I told you he gave that injunction because of his respect for the family unit and he thought such a man would have too much at hand and thr family has to come first. I remember I also quoted to you 1 cor where Paul said those who get married will face a lot of challenges. I also told you that the Paul we all know from his writings in the bible, would give a go ahead for a man with more than one wife to get consencrated a bishop if he could see the man can manage his home properly with church responsibilities very well.

This matter is simple if you want to have an accurate knowledge of God's will! 2Timothy 3:7

Polygamy ended for a reason!
Returning to Paradise as God purposed for Adam and Eve in the beginning {Matthew 19:4} there will be no oldage we will live forever just as Adam and Eve before their rebellion! Genesis 2:17
So if we are not going to become weak grow old or die how do you think it'll be possible for any man or woman to share his or her spouse with a third party?
See yourself as youth with your spouse {Proverbs 5:18; Malachi 2:14-15} that's how Job keep seeing his wife always so he never entertained the thought of any other woman becoming his sex mate {Job 31:1 compare to Matthew 5:28} we as Christians who have known the Christ and now have a sure hope of Paradise with our spouse don't see her breast falling or anything affecting her beauty.
So the thought of a third party somehow disappeared logically! smiley

Jerusalem became a desolation because of the rebellion of Israel and Judah, their unending disobedience to the LORD and their wanton idolatry, they killed the prophets of God, and because of their refusal to repent, first God sent Nebuchadnezzar to conquer and destroy the temple, and then Rome to destroy the second temple built by Persia the great.

2 Chronicles 36:19
And they burnt the house of God, and brake down the wall of Jerusalem, and burnt all the palaces thereof with fire, and destroyed all the goodly vessels thereof.

This is the background to that place in Matthew that you and Jehovah witness have so egregiously mistranslated, misquoted, misapplied and misused to the end that you might keep the people in perpetual slavery. Let me assure you that the LORD will go over and above in your punishment, you bastard.

Just before 33AD, Jesus told Jerusalem that that city would not see him again until it says 'blessed is he that comes in the name of the LORD' Matrhew 23:37-37 that is when Jesus rides triumphantly back into the city which would be his headquarters and capital forever.

Matthew 23:37-39
King James Version
37 O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not!
38 Behold, your house is left unto you desolate.
39 For I say unto you, Ye shall not see me henceforth, till ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.

You can't practice Christianity with plaited hair!
Christianity is not what you wish but the standard set for those who are preachers and teachers of God's Kingdom.
In Christianity plaiting your hair is a sign that you don't love your neighbour as yourself.
True Christians do everything just to get the message to people of all sort:

For though I am free from all people, I have made myself the slave to all, so that I may gain as many people as possible. To the Jews I became as a Jew in order to gain Jews; to those under law I became as under law, though I myself am not under law, in order to gain those under law. To those without law I became as without law, although I am not without law toward God but under law toward Christ, in order to gain those without law. To the weak I became weak, in order to gain the weak. I have become all things to people of all sorts, so that I might by all possible means save some. But I do all things for the sake of the good news, in order to share it with others! 1Corinthians 9:19-23

For your information i do drink alcoholic beverages because it's no sin but when i discover someone is irritated by it i won't take it in his presence in order to pass the message to him until he fully grasp it i will go on fasting for alcoholic beverages!

Jesus said:

“I am the WAY and the TRUTH and the LIFE. No one comes to the Father except through me." John 14:6

But there are billions of people on planet earth today all claiming believers in Christ Jesus yet they are all contradicting themselves in teachings and doctrine a sign that something is wrong because Jesus prayed for his disciples to have the same line of thought {John 17:22} and his first century disciples worked hard to do that. 1Corinthians 1:10; Ephesians 4:3

Wrong interpretation! shocked

John lived under the Old Covenant, and though he was righteous and fulfilled a critical role in God's plan, the new covenant brought by Jesus offers believers greater privileges. Jesus' followers have the opportunity to experience the Holy Spirit and a deeper connection with God than those before.

Also Jesus is emphasizing the value of humility in the Kingdom of Heaven. Even the "least" (those who humble themselves) in God's Kingdom are greater than John in this new context of grace and the fullness of God's presence
So all the people in the New Covenant who are not up to John including Enoch, Noah, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, Moses, Elijah and the rest will not enter God's Kingdom shey?

I will do this for the benefit of interested followers of this thread:

MaxInDHouse:
God's Kingdom means God's Government so when Jesus walked the earth his mission was to gather his own corulers who will rule with him {Luke 12:32} and they are supposed to be only JEWS that's why he keep on emphasizing that he came only for the lost sheep of the house of Israel and that his disciples shouldn't go beyond the boarders of his territory! Matthew 10:6; 15:24

It's his Jewish corulers who must go out of Israel after they've been anointed to gather millions throughout the earth who will make up their subjects in all the earth {Matthew 28:18-20; Act 1:8} this earthly subjects are his other sheep who are not of the same fold with his corulers! John 10:16

So since he's only here to gather his own corulers all his talks with them centered on that limited number, their anointing is what he meant by being BORN AGAIN {John 3:3} because they will no longer remain humans after their own resurrection {Luke 20:34-36} they will be taken to heaven where Jesus will establish the center of his government! John 14:1-3 compare to 1Thessalonians 4:16-17

It's only among Jesus' Jewish disciples that all these corulers supposed to be selected but that can't be unless Jesus finish his earthly mission which John the baptist can't live up to see so John the baptist becomes the greatest of all who were born by women before his time meaning Adam is greater than John the reason why he is greater than all of them is the fact that only him saw, lived with, baptized the Christ and got prepared people who became disciples of the Christ but because he can't make the list of those who will be anointed with God's Holy Spirit to become corulers with the Christ in heaven the least among those anointed is greater than John the baptist.

So in Paradise John the baptist will be on planet earth as a beneficiary of God's Kingdom {Matthew 5:5} but he can't be among those who will go to heaven as Christ's corulers! Matthew 5:3smiley

Please stop LYING.
You too dey deceive yourself.
The primary, fundamental meaning/ definition of proskuneo is homage, kneeling,to prostrate ..
Bible study tools.org is Trinitarian website.
As we shall see, Greek-English lexicons give two basic definitions of proskyneō, one of which is primary and fundamental, and the other of which is secondary and derivative. The primary meaning is “to kneel before someone” or “to prostrate oneself before someone”. This is a bodily expression of paying homage to someone without necessarily ascribing deity to him (e.g., bowing before a Roman centurion). But in some contexts, proskyneō can have the derivative sense of worship. Whereas the primary meaning does not necessarily involve the attribution of deity, the second may involve divine worship.

When we encounter proskyneō in the New Testament, the question of which is its intended meaning can often be resolved by seeing who the object of the proskyneō is. If the object is God, then proskyneō would imply divine worship (e.g., Mt.4:10, “You shall worship the Lord your God ALONE”). But if the object is a human dignitary such as a Roman commander, then proskyneō would mean kneeling or paying homage without the attribution of deity.

Jesus said worship Jehovah your God ALONE,@ Matthew 4:10.
You Gotham would dodge this question;
