I understand that it has 1.8 - 2.0 engine model could it be the same thing with corolla?

A very good ride. Doesn't come in 1.8L comes in 2.0L and 2.4L. very very durable. Parts do not come relatively cheap shares some parts with "JEEP" are you looking at getting the CVT transmission type. Avoid road sides in your best interest if you getting it

Please what might be causing my gear lever not to move up into R and P and also not to move lower into 2 and 1. It’s only moving between N, D and D3

I had just changed the cv joints, knock sensor, fuel pump and the whole engine fuse box before noticing this as the mechanic finished his work.

Is this an electrical or a mechanical issue? The mechanic went under the car to remove the gear cable and yet the gear lever is still not moving into those gears.

Any suggestions? I don’t have a scan tool

Good morning, Please i need assistance, i changed tie rod ends ,bow joints and steering knuckle yesterday, when i came to pick the vehicle in the evening, i started it and there was a whinning sound coming from the engine bay and on trying to move the vehicle, the wheels were wobbling as if the front tires will fold.Am going back this morning, who has had this experience and what could be wrong? Please i need your input.

Let them have all parts installed rechecked . Were your front tires locked up properly. As for the whining was the sound audible at the point of starting the car or after starting and turning the steering wheel

Avoid quacks get a professional. A simple advice

Yes the thermostat can cause a high fuel consumption. Without the thermostat your ride would run in an open loop system which means she would be thirsty for fuel

Please I would want anyone with a good idea of Jaguar s-type ...what might be the problem first it shows gearbox fault but it selects very well then the only issue is when it goes into any kind of pothole it won't accelerate again till after some minutes...

What year is your jaguar. Run a scan on drive train system. This is a new year stop the trail by error

Use fully synthetic 5w30 for your engine oil. You can use star transmission fluid mainly for benz

The caliper has been changed before. But there are lines in some section of the brake disc, some other section of it are not uniform. My mechanic is saying the brake disc is the faulty part

Get an original brake pad. Substandard brake pad causes those grooves you see

That's the distance you have covered so far perhaps on recent trips. There is an oil life percentage to tell you when ride should be due for an oil change. If @ 0% a "spanner-like" sign should stay permanently on

Remember I said that the original key was lost in the Auction where the car was bought in USA and they programmed a metal chip key for the car, which then came with it to Nigeria.

So, I should be expecting to see two keys in the antitheft system. 1. The one that came with the car from the U.S and 2. the one that I recently programmed in Oyingbo.

Any other key in the antitheft means my assertions are right ??

Ps: the image below is the kind of key that came with the car from US.

You can never be sure that way. Don't forget no one has time to start deleting key information on the immobiliser unit. It's necessary in some cases of programming but not in your case. Car was bought brand new in the US. Last owner in the US might not have had previous key info deleted.

Note:There is a maximum to it not to forget

Good day house please I need your candid advise I travelled out of the country for 3 months and these period my car was parked down cos there's was nobody to help me with my car warming and all that when I can back I decided to start the car though it took it a long while to start but to my greatest surprise my gear starts malfunction.. when you engage the Rev it takes up to 10 to 20 sec to engage and if you mistakenly hot the gas it goes on a loud bang as if the engine wants to fall off and when on d the shifting of gear is normally rugged what's the cos and is there any solution and mind you I havent see the d light blinking thanks in advance

What Honda is this? Were these problems there prior to now. I suspect rodents must have eaten one or two pieces of wire . Run a scan first

If it's not Bosch then it can't be any other battery. Unfortunately you cannot see the cells in them. The materials used to define them varies accordingly.

Very possible. Get a good scan tool go to actual values on the immobiliser control unit and see how many keys have been programmed to the antitheft system. Very very possible
