am not an expert and my opinion is based on personal experience and conversations with auto mobile technicians.

Now if you contrary advise orr knowledge do say,don't just put a smartiah question up that helps no one.

metal shavings are inevitable in gears with age, that's why e magnets are put in e system to collect them so they don't cause damage. that is what I HV been told and what I have read. if you wanna help out pls feel free to offer advise. just dropping a Q out there with a smiley amounts to throwing the spanner in the works of a failing engine and walking away. who e EPP?

The Gear May be damaged already, or it may just be in need of servicing. servicing involves replacing the oil, clearing out sediments and iron filings and cleaning the multiple filters in the Gear system. there are magnets within the system that collect metal filings those, filings too wld be cleaned out.

so do a service and it should improve....unless there is permanent damage already.

Well, with a bad pvc, oil can find its way into the intake track.

This is why I used do acrankcase vent kit on my hobby cars. But that's a subject for another thread.

This sludge is in intake plenum. The oil grade doesn't cause that, or am I missing something?

The Hemi engine, if this is Hemi, wasn't built by Mercedes and they had nothing to do with it except that the owned the biggest share in Chrysler.

The engine was already designed prior to Mercedes and it was built in Mexico, not Germany.

If anybody should be credited then it's actually Nissan.

Also, dual spark plug has nothing to do with power/torque. It is used to reduce emissions.

Try to inform your readership adequately. Over here being a Mercedes doesn't equate to excellence per se.

Before you guys crucify Mazda engine, what about the op? He left sound counsel to go for roadside mecs and he never asked questions. What gear oil does your civic uses and which oil did they pour into your transmission ? If you dont know, then you are at fault. The gear selector cable was not properly aligned hence you need d3 to move into drive. If the oil is still leaking, I suspect that they used seahorse for the gear. Accept responsibility and move on. For those of you buying toks gearbox, there is nothing like that anymore. Its naija used gearboxes being refurbished as toks. There are some cars that it is better repaired than replaced and civic is one of them.
