God bless you! Very intelligent input. I agree. |

A report commissioned by the Foreign Office, from the Bishop of Truro, has warned that the world-wide attacks are close to genocide and urged sanctions on regimes that have committed human rights abuses. The alarm has been sounded by Ayo Adedoyin, executive director of the International Organisation for Peace Building and Social Justice (PSJ), and Baroness Caroline Cox, chief executive of Humanitarian Aid Relief Trust (HART), who has recently returned from the region after speaking to the survivors of atrocities "as bad as it gets anywhere in the world". Mr Adedoyin welcomed the Prime Minister's comments in which he said: "We stand with Christians everywhere, in solidarity, and will defend your right to practise your faith." Downing Street added that the Prime Minister wanted to examine how Britain could lead on the issue around the world. But with the plight of Christians deteriorating rapidly across Nigeria and elsewhere, Mr Adedoyin said it was time for the Government to intervene by applying pressure to the Nigerian authorities to step up their efforts to combat the atrocities committed by Islamist Fulani militia and the new incarnation of Boko Haran - the Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP), who released a video of the Christmas Day beheadings. Mr Adedoyin said: "We have had many fine words from the Government. But with the Fulani militia and ISWAP on the rampage across the Central Belt and the North East, we need more than words. Britain gives £320 million a year to Nigeria in aid and we should be thinking about withholding at least some of that money until the Nigerian Government takes seriously the threat to Christians, which is costing more than 1,000 lives a year and growing rapidly." Baroness Cox has made several visits to Nigeria in recent years to witness first hand the havoc wrought by the Fulani militia, who belong to a semi-nomadic ethnic group of about 20 million people across 20 west and central African countries. She said: "In the last four to five years growing numbers of Fulani have adopted a land-grabbing policy - motivated by this extremist belief system and equipped with sophisticated weaponry - leading to the massacre of thousands of people and permanent displacement of vulnerable rural communities. "It is high time we made foreign aid conditional for countries, such as Nigeria, stained with Christian blood. Until President Buhari and the Nigerian government can prove they have undertaken effective measures to halt the increasingly routine slaughter of Christians in their own land, we would do well to give our money to other, more deserving governments." Lord David Alton, a leading supporter of HART, said that ministers should study the parliamentary debate held 18 months ago. "The warnings of systematic persecution and horrific executions, abductions and an unfolding genocide have been wantonly ignored. "These terrible executions in Nigeria will be a first test of how the UK's Foreign Office and aid programmes will be deployed to provide substance to Boris Johnson's very welcome commitment to end such barbarism." The beheadings of the 11 Christians shown in the ISWAP video were gruesome 'revenge' for the recent killing in Syria of Islamic State leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi. They came after terrorists in the 'Boko-Haram enclave' of the North East of Nigeria struck a Christian village, Kwaragulum near Chibok in Borno State, where over 200 school girls were kidnapped in 2014. They killed, injured and kidnapped several people and once again left another community devasted, mourning and burying their dead on Christmas Day. LINKS HART - www.hart-uk.org/ |
oz4real83:Very good observation. |
You again? No links no reference scholarship just hypothesis. Are you saying this Beale guy is more believable than Eze Eri who linked Eri to Ife? So you say Eze Eri lied, is that so? I think i need to read the riot act out loud to you. You are a trouble maker Chisom. ![]() |
The European parliament, legislative branch of the European Union, has accused the President Muhammadu Buhari-led administration of overseeing the persecution of Christians in the Northern part of Nigeria where Sharia law is in practice. The EU in a new report released on January 16, 2020 said over 6000 Christians had been murdered by "Fulani militants whereas in Sharia states, Christians face constant discrimination and are often considered second class citizens”. The report further adds that, “These attacks have continued with total impunity with perpetrators rarely being held to account whereas Amnesty International report has demonstrated wilful negligence by the Nigerian security forces concerning deadly attacks against farming communities.” The report says Buhari's poor handling of Nigeria's deteriorating situation in the North-East has worsened as non-governmental organisations ready to help are denied access by the Nigerian Government for political reasons. The EU condemned what it described as "extermination of human beings or ethnic cleansing" while calling on the Nigerian Government to find immediate solutions to the conflict now affecting the stability of West Africa.

Conner44:Yorubas are Nigerians also. While igbo uses his right finacially to acquire land, fulani uses his terrorism to acquire land.....Yoruba uses his civilization to thwart terrorism. So everyone is right, no fault! Its balanced. Long Live Amotekun!

NigeriaIsDoomed:We thank you for your fore knowledge but can you share how this prevision benefitted and saved you from the fire of this janja.we.ed? ![]() |
budaatum:Im glad you recognize that we will deploy modern knowledge and crafts against your fulanization and islamization agenda. Satellite imagery provided the data that first showed your presence in our forest. Thats modernity. It is modernity we will use to defeat you. Who has time to be facing you in the forest? ![]() It will come to you as surprise. |
BabaRamota1980:Yes oo. ![]() |
BabaRamota1980:That guy is an anti-Nigeria fulani. A supporter and advocate of ruga. One who was happy when farmers were robbed of their crops and killed when they opposed. He is not happy that fulani's criminalty against farmers and citizens is coming to end. |
budaatum:Its because Yoruba is not spineless that we came up with Amotekun to stop the agenda. You gambaris can whine and lament all you want. Long Live Amotekun! ![]()
|
ursullalinda:Their opposition is worse than selfishness. Now we can see the enemies of Nigeria in full mirror. They are speaking up in dissapointment, now that their fulanization and islamization agenda is crushed by Amotekun. |
If you oppose Amotekun you are pro fualnization and pro islamization of Nigeria. If you are against Amotekun, you support the immigration of West African fulanis into ruga settlements and you are against Nigerians!
|
Isinweke:And promised to kill more. Not a single Northerner voiced concern. They were asleep. A medicine to cure fulani madness is created and they are awake. |

PreciousJuice:Hisbah was created in 2000. State government officials and other individuals interviewed by Human Rights Watch claimed that the activities of the hisbah were governed by regulations and a code of conduct, developed at the state level; however, despite many inquiries in several states, Human Rights Watch was not able to find any legislation governing their activities by mid-2003. Human Rights Watch was told that state governments had only issued “legal notices” to set up the hisbah—a form of subordinate legislation issued by the state governor, which, unlike laws, are not submitted for debate to the state houses of assembly. Eventually, the Kano State House of Assembly passed a law in late 2003 regulating the hisbah; it includes the creation of a board composed of representatives of the main security agencies (including the police and the intelligence services) to oversee the hisbah and ensure that they are carrying out their duties properly. |
Zooposki:Yoruba reaction on Amotekun goes to show you that when resolved on a matter we dare anything and everything. Look at the people in front of this issue, Yoruba political and academic leaders. In 1993, same thing. Yoruba political leaders led the fight against FG. I wish SE would be so brave and your political leaders will support projects that the general Ibo citizens support. If that had happened you would have won the python battle. So take lessons from what our brave leaders do and raise your voice to demand your coward leaders to do same. To stand up for what their people want. Amotekun is what we want. What do you want, do you know? |
[[s]quote author=WiLdFLame post=85940730]You jokers; Ayo Adebanjo, Okunromu and co should please shut up when it comes to Tinubu on this matter. We Omoluabis are very wise and aware of the games you selfish elders are playing..PLAYING POLITICS WITH OUR LIVES Amotekun being a good measure has been BASTARDIZED IMMEDIATELY THE AFENIFERE and 2023 PRESIDENCY REGIONAL/CABAL PUPPET FAYEMI /schemers hijacked it. This is more of a political scheme than what it’s meant for..it’s dicey now since you all now made it political, something which was meant to be for the whole southwest. It’s the best blackmailing coven hatched by the Tinubu antagonists since it was so easy for the afenifere and co to hijack it easily Lagos and Ogun state being the cash cow here. Amotekun was rushed. Major stakeholders has not been consulted. Tinubu for one is very much indeed Involved in the Yorùbá Project, he’s calculative and reflective; a strategist..so when he’s reluctant to give his words on something..we should try to reason it in all way too not being one sided Amotekun needs to be centralized unlike the shit those selfish governors came up with and control taken away from the governors but semi regulated by the them..each Amotekun should stay in their domain of operations until concrete plan is made to go around this....This is more of a political strategy to the governors. So as an Omoluabi. I’m on the fence for now until how Amotekun is to be controlled and afenifere and co not allowed to hijack it. P.S : Majority of the comments above andbelow me are from Online Ibos ..Tinubu is a man they love to hate so expect more mastubating and name calling of Tinubu person here by them. Isn’t it funny and dicey they have been so involved in the Amotekun of a thing even than the Omoluabis themselves. Kanu preaching hate agains us all of a sudden wants to provide 1 millions volunteers. We all see through y’all games. IPOBs sef don hijack Amotekun[/quote][/s] Bullshyte! |
DelTel:I was getting to question why Junaid left the Northerners in their anonymity but did not care to reveal Tinubu, Akiolu and Osinbajo....your input stopped me in my tracks. ![]() Northerner get sense, but Yoruba is the god of intrigues, they cannot beat us in our own game. ![]() |
Just because you say so doesnt mean we accept it so, Sultan. Those who have been victims of almajiri are the ones to say if they are criminal or not, not you their patron. |
Of all the Northern leadership that have spoken out against Amotekun, not a single one of them spoke against atrocities of Miyetti Allah or terrorism of fulani herdsmen. As villages after villages were burnt down its people killed and their farmlands destroyed and illegally occuppied not a single opponent of Amotekun, including Malami, spoke up against the criminality nor demanded for arrest of Miyetti Allah even when they boldly took ownership of crime and promised more crimes for those who oppose them. The next war in Nigeria will be over Amotekun, and Yoruba Youths are ready for it. Sound the gong! Fvk fulani and its bullshyte. |
InyinyaAgbaOku:Ol boy, keep your igbo sentiments within you. I have no time for igbo talk. Step aside abeg. |
Xisnin:Fayemi, Akeredolu, these two got their positions as governor through Buhari. Fayemi is chairman of governors council and Akeredolu is chairman of SW governors. Akeredolu has a lot to lose in his reelection. So these two need to be persuaded by Yoruba leaders that the position of Yoruba on Amotekun is non-negotiable. Buhari has pardoned terrorists in bokoharam and absorbed them into regular Nigerian Army. So he has no moral standing questioning the presence of OPC in Amotekun. Hisbah is a separatist organization as well because it is anti-Nigerian since its mission is strictly for Hausa/Fulani muslims. Therefore the presence of Afenifere in Amotekun is no different than constituting hisbah with religious and ethnic separatists. Amotekun must stay and Afenifere and OPC must belong in it. This is desire of Yoruba. The governors cannot and must not put desire of Buhari or fulani above Yoruba. Besides, what can FG do if we reject Buhari's opposition? What can they do? Deploy Army? Tell Yoruba in Army to mutiny. Let the war start....and everyone go gabadaya! |
they could have been articulate like the Kano State did in the case of Hisbah. They went through the State House of Assembly. Now, if this Amotekun had been taken through the six state Houses of Assembly before it was formed you could say they have a case in the sense that the state Houses of Assembly are in charge of law making. Here is the truth, Hisbah was formed and started operation in 2000. Late 2003 Kano House of Assembly passed a law to legalize it. So for three years of operation it had no legal backing. Read below. Take notice guys...North has realized that South is strongly gearing up and using the instruments of democracy to force separation of powers from the center. To force a reversal and regain the grounds they already lost, first in Biafran SE and now in SW Amotekun, Buhari and his North cabal might hand power over to a Northern controlled military than witness a Southerner succeed the Presidency. Any declaration of state of emergency and or military deployment will be steps in that direction. Our leaders are not sleeping! |
have records of recklessness in terms of securing the lives and property of non-Yoruba.We have said this repeatedly of hisbah. Nobody listened. Does Balarabe know that hisbah destroys Southerners business in North? They will destroy truckloads of beer and alcoholic beverages and ruin investments, sometimes frame people up for religious attacks. |
Where is the fulani dress? ![]() Seun, create a nursery school in Nairaland so I can enroll people like this op and pay their scholarship to learn all over again from bottom up. |
