BabaRamota1980:

My guy, this is very good idea.

North is only one putting political pressure on SW, SS, SS, MB, and causing these zones to run helter skelter to meet its demands. They do it with politics they do it with militia, if they had a way they would also use commerce to disrupt and dominate us in South.

Nobody puts pressure on North, whether its militia, political or even commercial which we have advantage. Hence the Northerner does not believe he is accountable to us for anything. Unlike us that do everything to account and please the North because of the pressure.

This your request is a pressure. It is a political pressure, it is a religious pressure and it is a militia pressure. If what you suggest here had started many years ago by now we would already have seen credible responses and contacts seenactions on ground to topple the fulani hegemony over Hausa. But because you are suggesting now, expect many years ahead before you can see a trickle response...and thats assuming that other Southerners see your vision and support it and add voice to it to keep this fire raging.

Like i said i like the idea and i believe it is necessary and possible. What i am not sure of are the Southerners who you will need behind such a drive...our people do not have spirit for endurance and opposition against North.

We have been programmed to believe we depend on North, whereas it is North that depend on South, its just that our people in South lack the imagination and intrigue you just displayed in this thread.

Somebody Hausa can be separated from Fulani, not possible in a short term, but with persistence it is indeed possible. There has to be reward and punishment for such agenda and policy to succeed....but i agree this needs to be an agenda and policy adopted throughout South towards North.

Fulani has taken too much of blood in Nigeria and still want more. Lets end the fulani power in Nigeria forever!

Lovely. grin. Yeess, fulani is the one telling people what God they must worship and if they refuse he slaughters them. Fulani tell farmer his cow must feed on his crop and if he refused he slaughters him. Fulani is one telling people he wants to settle their land and if they refuse he slaughters them. It is a disaster!

O to Gee for Fulani! Time to take power from fulani hand before he slaughters any more people.

If you want to achieve this, set up a pirate radio that communicates in only hausa, promote Hausa supremacy and remind them of the need to take back their land from the marauders. Paint fulanis as the corrupt elite who are are stealing from them and made them blind. Remind the hausas that they've been practicing Islam before Fulanis came to deceive them and take their lands and enslave them. Remind them of the glory days of Hausa dynasty when life was easier until fulanis came with their filth of corruption which has increased disease, violence and death in their land which is Allah's punishment. Find verses in the quoran and back up your point.

Say all these compellingly and convincingly, if you have an authoritative voice and the gift of gab like MNK, you'll make progress faster. That's the only way you can awaken their consciousness. Every abooki is armed with a radio.

But don't let buhari catch you, it will scare him to shitts! He won't sleep for days until he finds the radio or jams it, even if it means emptying Nigeria's central bank to achieve that singular aim.

I love this!!
True word! God bless you.

There are plenty of them even in Nairaland. Fulani has destroyed their spirit and identity about their own history. Anything indigeneously Hausa, fulani has destroyed it claiming it is anti Islam. They programmed them to believe a muslim must not play music or dance. So today Hausa has forgotten their drum beats and their dance steps. If you ask them to play music they will give you an Indian melody and dance to it in mimick of what they learnt in Indian movies. Can you imagine... This is the result of fulani indoctrination forcing them to abandon music. This is because fulani itself does not have music or dance in their cultural history.

Hausa is a great culture, those who believe like I do that fulani is a disaster in Nigeria should join voice and make noise on this topic.

Fulani practices terrorism, not Islam. They will not terrorize another people in this country.

Which Hausa did you see complaining to you about, say for e.g., the rulership of the Fulani when in most cases they're not considered as outsiders, and many speak only Hausa? Which Hausaman have you seen complaining about the Emir of Kano or any other Fulani monarch? And, would the Hausaman fight the Emirs when in many cases you find those you complained about have Hausa great-grandparents running into generations.

Hausa can cohabit with fulani and enjoy the blood relations but Hausa shoupd be put back on the throne. Fulani is under-civilized and incapable to manage power in trust.

You get over yourself with over zealousness when in power.

You did it all over Hausaland, you did it in Bida, you did in Adamawa, in Gwari land, in Ilorin, in Zaria. You are still looking for more victims. You killed humans in the pretext of bringing civilization. How can an uncivilized race give civilization?
As we have seen everywhere you have an Emir is under-civilized, even after you slaughtered tjeir people with promise of civilization. Before you do it to any more people in this country we are going to sack you and deny power to you. You are not mentally and spiritually stable with power. You do not know how to build and develop society but you are an expert in destruction of lives and landscape. You will not destroy another people in this country.

O to Gee to Fulani! You will be dethroned, whether Hausa asked for it or not. Your day of reckoning is here!

Going forward I will be the advocate and crusader of ideas and noise to kick you out of power. Insha Allah we will see to it! You will hear from me everyday on this idea. Everyday!!! grin

Ain't no beef between Hausa and Fulani.

So much intermingled and intermarried that they've considered themselves as one. The Fulani has no distrust of the Hausa nor does the Hausa distrust the Fulani.

It's as if you guys' new brief is to create a chasm between the Hausa and the Fulani. This phantom phantasmagoria like the meaningless and the shifty Fulani herdsmen as 'terrorists' is DOA.

Nothing is impossible under the Sun.

In Brazil the spirit of Yoruba descendants lives on and they have a separate identity, inspite of the admixture.

The pedigrees of Hausa monarchies should step forward. We will plant a seed that may take 100yrs to come into fruition, but trust me, the journey of a thousand miles begins in one small step.

We are fed up with disastrous groups and will displace their positions.

We are tired of terrorism and wholesale destruction of landscape and people. Ever since fulani has been in Nigeria uncountable number of people have perished and the landscape destroyed.

The presence of fulani here is a disaster. We must reinstate order.

Descendants of old Hausa monarchies should come forward. A readiness to displace terrorism and reinstate glory.

I know any body's view u people disagree with is either Fulani or Buharist. If u know anything about history then u will know fulanis were grazing most of these lands before others settled there. But that is not even the issue. The issue is some people make it look like Christianity is an endangered religion in Nigeria. Go and ask Babajide Otitoju that has been to most conflict zones in this country, and he will be the first to tell u it's not about targeting a particular religion. If u have an issue with a Fulani, he doesn't care if u speak the same language with him, he will butcher u. Go and do fact finding, majority of the banditry and kidnapping victims in the north, are Muslims

That is true for North. There is no grazing route for fulani in South, nothing below Niger State. Colonial people reated routes in North and gazzetted these routes. Go and find your lost routes in the North.

The Yoruba have done fantastically well on this one. When people say they are sophisticated, this is surely one proof. And frankly I'm very impressed.

Now , beyond the talk, They must be encouraged to walk the walk. For many reasons not least of which is the impact on the entire sociopolitical texture of the country.

My Igbo folks, the south south, the middle belt, all must lend their voice in support of this very Noble move. This is not the time for politics of bitterness and reciting ancient history... No. What the Yoruba have done is effectively to sow the first seeds of regionalism and restructuring, and we all stand to benefit if it goes well. We also sink under fulani control if we allow the north to force a retreat if the amotekun idea.

To this end we must all be wary of the Greek gifts of the hegemonists. Any political favours to the south east at this time must be viewed with suspicion. Please and please, no one should play into their hands . Igbo governors must be particularly wary. Igbo presidency must be rejected if it is offered on the alter of betraying southern freedom.

Enough is enough. Let's all get this right. History is being made.

This is a very good call but personally I want to advice Igbos reading this. In fact this advice impacts SS and Mbelt as well.

Please, allow Yoruba alone to face this issue with FG. You Igbos have sacrificed enough. Amotekun has many benefits from which its spread and expansion can also be of benefit to SE and others.

Amotekun is a legal issue, not a military issue, but there is a risk that Buhari may deploy military now that his service chiefs have impulsively read riot act. Personally, i dont think SE should be involved in anything here on Amotekun.

Wait for a final court judgement. If the final judgement rules for Amotekun then this gives legitimacy to it and anyone can raise their own security they way they see it.

There is no need to change constitution because there are adequate coverage in the constitution to support Amotekun.

Nobody supported us in 1993 against North. You dont need to support Yoruba now but you do need to preserve Amotekun to its legal conclusion because like i said it has vast interpretations and uses and im sure you will need it for your benefit.

Yes it’s called ‘taking your enemy unawares’ it’s a war strategy that works every single time and you know we fulani love wars and conquests.

Just like how awolowo and gowon starved the Biafra people during the war so will the Fulani murder their enemies in their sleep.

All is fair and square so far Fulani take over the region and banish its inhabitants to the lagoon or hades.

You are a coward race. There is not a single war of victory in your entire history.

1. You used terrorism to wipe out Hausaland. This was not a war.

2. Afonja and Yoruba soldiers plotted coup against Alaafin and recruited fulani to reinforce. Alimi in turn used coup to overthrow Afonja. This was not a war.

3. British invaded and fought you and defeated you easily. The mistake they made was refusing to return Hausa to their ancestral thrones.
You lost this war.

4. Biafran war fulanis were repeatedly wiped out by Ibos.

Name one war you ever fought and had victory.

I wonder why a man thinks fulanisation is possible in this 21st century.

We brought this government in and by the power of Oduduwa, Sango and all other deities in Yoruba land, we will put an end to this born to rule mentality by 2023.

AMOTEKUN IS NOT NEGOTIABLE UNLESS WE WILL NEGOTIATE IT WITH OUR FREEDOM

Look at this one from a US Congressman.

US has threatened Buhari with some punitive action over Sowore. They are waiting for his trial to end first before they make a declaration.

They are also coordinating with Parliamentarians in UK over what they have variously labeled as "genocide" and "ethnic cleansing" done by Buhari.

To be honest Buhari may not rule till 2023 if Nigerians put pressure on these international monitoring groups to call for his indictment. He could be arrested and charged for "genocide". They have identified it as such, what else are they waiting on?

Amotekun will make or break it. He has instructed his service chiefs to read riot acts. If he dare deploy military to SW that could be the breaking point....because it will disrupt commerce and consulate service and foreign embassies will have to activate contingencies for possible evacuation if situation deteriorates. So all the riot act na shakara. The international eye is on Buhari. He might finish his term in a UN prison in Geneva if he miscalculates on Amotekun.

Notice what this US Congressman said below.

1. Every state in Nigeria is independent and there is nothing like regional force. Therefore each southwest state assembly should pass a bill establishing the security watch vigilante group.

2. Each state Amotekun must have a unique registered name (example: Lagos State Amotekun Security Watch, Oyo State Amotekun Security Watch etc).

3. Each state "Amotekun" should have it own individual leader. (Although leaders from different states can have a forum just like Governors forum to exchange ideas)

4. Amotekun members of a particular state cannot work outside the state upon which they are recruited. Example: An Amotekun member of Ekiti state cannot make an arrest or any other security function in Ondo state.

In summary Amotekun cannot be a regional force but state force, unless the constitution is amended for regionalization. In such a case the Southwest House of Representatives will establish it own regional security.

Are you quoting from law or just wishing it?

I dont know why gambari would be telling us how to run Amotekun.

Zamfara has had 5years of contnous terrorism, it is same in Sokoto, same in Katsina. Why dont you go teach your people how to end terrorism in your region instead of fantasizing about running Amotekun in SW?

Look if the Govs call for Nigerians in diaspora to contribute £1 or $1 a month as minimum support, trust me Amotekun will even have better salary structure than Police.

Just 1pound or dollar a month per person!

Let our people in diaspora do it. This will take the hardship away from people already faced in financial hardship at home.
