PoliticsRe: Don't Run Away To East Gov Yero Of Kaduna State Appeals To Ndigbo by MayorofLagos(m): 4:06pm On Jan 22, 2015
So even if you go now it is temporary and then after the elections you will want to come back? Then my question is, won’t you be ashamed of coming back because people will see you as cowards?

Psychoanalytic and solicitatious!
In desperation, Yero is masssging Ibo ego. He knows the last thing Ibo will accept is to be seen and called a coward. He figured if he called them cowards for leaving for safety they will be hurt and then choose to stay and be "slaughtered" bravely.

That result isn't his, the name there is Mohamed Buhari not mohammadu Buhari, am so ashamed on buhari's behalf.
This is really messy, I wonder d kind of reputation Nigeria will get.
U r planning to fight corruption, is this how u want to do it?
Elle mi,
How u dey sweetie? wink

You have a legitimate question. Lets ponder on names and their variables.

Moahamed
Mohammad
Mohammed
Momodu
Modu
Momoh
Mo

Abubakar
Abu
Bakare
Bakri
Babu

Ibrahim
Ibraheem
Abraham
Ibro
Buramo

Sara
Sarah
Saratu

In Africa, all the variables of Mohammed retain meaning and value, and are interchangeable regardless of spelling or rendering.
In America it is different! Sarah, Sara are considered diffrrent in meaning and values. If someone's name is written Mary, you must not call or write it as Mari, Marie, Maria, Mariam or Maryam. ...they feel insulted. The American culture is thoroughly individualistic and discriminating.

This analyst was trained in Americs, licensed there, practices and live in America. He sees Mohammed and Mohammadu as distinguishably different in spelling but recklessly fails to attach cultural value to them and thus concludes that these names cannot belong to the one and same person. Thats nothing short of ignorance!

PoliticsRe: Buhari's Certificate Matter - Tune Into Channels Television by MayorofLagos(m): 12:04pm On Jan 21, 2015
bjdon:
The real problem here is not with Buhar per se, it's the fact that the Northerners have been fooling the rest of us for decades. I am confident that the vast majority of Northerners who are in their 60's/70's today and have held senior positions in the armed forces/Civil service, NEVER had the qualifications to do so. For God's sake even now we have a situation where a kid from Adamawa can pass common entrance with 5 out of 400. What kind of SSC result do you expect such a kid to latter get?

Please everybody let's be honest with ourselves. If you are going for a job interview you are required to bring your certificates. What we can see now is that even when Buhari first applied to join the Army he NEVER presented them the original c of his certificates from which they could make copies. Later he swore an affidavit that his certificate was with the Army. That affidavit was FALSE. No If's No but's.

Please think of tomorrow. If he can lie on something like this what will he do tomorrow. What will he do when investigators present him with evidence of corruption from APC members? Will he lie it away so it dose not cause him problems.

I have no doubt that person for person, Buhari is more honest and upstanding than GEJ, but he's not the messiah we need in this country. We need to go back to the drawing board and start to plan for 2019 and ensure that a PROVEN achiever like Fashola or Osho baba is the candidate of REAL CHANGE, not Buhari who is part of the establishment trying to present himself as a change agent.
Shut up! You talk too much. There was nothing called photocopy when Buhari went to school. The league of Nigerians that finished elementary school in that era are academically more qualified in knowledge, theory and practice than some university graduates today.

They wrote in cursive, they were more articulate, could spell very well without aid, used reckoner to tabulate and balance bookkeeping, used vernier callipers for precision measurements, used four figure tables to calculate angles and volumes and circumfrence, can recite the whole times table from 2 to 12 without reference to the table....and then above all can calculate roots and exponentials using a pair of graded rules called "slide rule"!

We see university graduates here that cant spell or string sentences together...if you ask them for the cosine of 60 they dont know. Even when they go on google to get answer to it, mithfckrs still cant figure what they are reading. They cant convert boiling point of water from its kelvin unit to celsius unit.

Stewpeed ignoramus! Buhari may not have more than standard 6 education but at its age and raw competencies, he far surpasses niggas with masters degree to their names.

Shhuyte, too early in the day for Mayor to start on you all. I got one message for you, if yall ignorant behind slack and let Jonathan win......oooww, i will make nairaland hot for you. cool
PoliticsRe: Eze Ndi-igbo In North Endorse Jonathan by MayorofLagos(m): 10:23am On Jan 21, 2015
FreeGlobe:
The Eze Ndi-Igbo in the 19 northern states, including Abuja and Oyo State, have endorsed the re-election bid of President Goodluck Jonathan.
The meeting where the royal fathers endorsed the president, took place at the Agura Hotel, Abuja.
Amongst the royal fathers, who signed the communiqué made available to Daily Sun, were the group’s secretary, Eze (Dr) Pampas Nwahiwe, Eze Ndigbo of Niger State; and Eze Ndigbo of Kano, Dr.Boniface Ibekwe.
The royal fathers resolved that the unity, indivisibility and peaceful co-existence of all people in the country was not negotiable, even as they reaffirmed their commitment to the peaceful co-existence of all Nigerians irrespective of tribe, creed and religion.
The body also resolved to mobilise their subjects and kinsmen to obtain their Permanent Voters Cards (PVC) for the forthcoming general elections, urging all
Igbo nationwide to remain in their various states of abode during and after the forthcoming elections, because Nigeria belongs to all.
Part of the communiqué read: “We call on the Federal Government to provide adequate security for all during the elections.
“We resolved to work for a violence free electoral process in 2015 and to affirm our support and commitment for the re-election of President Goodluck Jonathan for continuity of the transformation agenda of the Federal Government,” the Eze Ndigbo said.

Always trending for fools in exchange for 'bags of rice'!
...if Jonathan, through his deplorable leadership, had not ruled this country like he was ruling some Ijaw village in the brackish creeks of Otuoke, who in Nigeria would be stepping over each other and fighting over rice handouts?

Where is the separation between us and those rushing to a UN food aid drop at refugee camps? Did you not see picture of children going after candies and goodies in a storm drain gutters?

If we want to compare 1984 and 2014, c'mon, lets do so in review of all the aspects touching the humanity of our society. In 1984 just one Yoruba party on the street of Lagos serves over five bags of cooked rice to guests, invited and walk-ins. On any weekend an average of ten parties were on in Isale Eko, another five in Ereko, fifteen in Surulere, twelve in Aroloya, ten in Epetedo, six in Obalende, perharps fifteen in Mushin, nine in Ebute Meta, eight in Yaba, .....all running simultaneously on same clock!

Get your calculator out and do the maths, tell me how many bags of rice and heads of cows, goats, ram, chicken, is already given honor to feed guests, guests' guests and their guests guests' guests!

....and now your clueless camp want to use rice to showcase greed. If GEJ win on Feb 14th we go raise a Yoruba uprising and call it "jonathan haram" and setup camp in Abuja. You shameless people! angry

Campeign things... Even in mourning times...
no, my friend. Adekunle died before APC primaries where Buhari was nominated to be flag bearer. This visit was a week after the General had passed.

It is believed Buhari would have taken care of Adekunle had he survived till the former assumes power as President. He might do something for the family retroactively after he is sworn in, and possibly a memorial for Adekunle himself.

Buhari is a compassionate man. Do you know his delegates were part of the entourage that came from North to sit at Ojukwu's funeral? That delegation was headed by the recently deceased Emir of Kano, Alhaji Ado Bayero.

Open eyes and look at Buhari well my guy....it was out of compassion and the eagerness to save Nigeria and reform our society that he inroduced War Against Indiscipline. People rush and push and shove each other just to enter a cab, not mention bus! Instead of using pedestrian crossings and overhead bridges people just dashed in front of speeding vehicles. Our society was worse that animals in a zoo. Animals in zoo have orders and schedules and regimen they live by.....the Nigerian society back then lived a true jungle lifestyle. Thank God for Buhari, he got in there and restored our humanity.

He was not perfect, he had his challenges too..but we live and learn. Time, through failures and regrets, teach us wisdom and lessons that no classroom could ever teach. Time has passed, Buhari is not unaware of things he should have done differently.

People accuse him of throwing politicians in jail. Would it have been better if he killed them as was done by IBB and Abacha?

IBB even killed his own close friend and brother, Mamman Vatsa!

Abeg, make una leave Buhari alone. Lets celebrate him. Jonathan's path is not a path for celebration. Jonathan has no clue how to run a LGA, much more a countey.

Bayelsa should have surpassed a lot of states today in infrastructure and urban planning and development. Instead, the highest human development index is attributed to amnesty programme. Wtf!! Bayelsans ought to be irate...but they are instead grateful to their clueless son.

Follow Yoruba footsteps......some Yoruba Obas banned Obj from visiting their palace and domain during his Presidency because of what they saw as insult from his neglect of the region. That neglect turned us to self-dependency, out of it we borne DAWN, revamped and expanded Odua Investments and initiated IGR as an alternative to Federal Revenue Allocation.

This is why I cry for my inlaws when they wait and hope in Alaigbo for the delivery of a cash cow that was already shared and pocketed before the dealers (not leaders, but dealers. Lol!) had landed Oritsejafor's plane in Akanu Ibiam International Airport.

This is for my inlaws.
I just finished meeting with Yellow not long ago, Ive dispatched him with message of felicitation and brotherhood to my in-laws in Ladipo. If you are here reading this and you own shop in Ladipo, pay attention. The exco in Ladipo will be relaying our message to you soon, I want to say before end of next week.

As you all know here, I consider it a great honor to be married to your daughter, Chinyere, a beautiful and charming young maiden from Imo state, the home state of great Igbo warriors and men of valor. Through this marital relationship you and I have become one, and I break kola with you and shout Igbo Kwenu!! I wish I can post personal pictures of myself and my wife and you see me in my own red cap. What troubles Igbo tribe troubles Mayor!

So as we come to this important event in next three weeks or so we must embrace this union and bring about a positivity out of it. Is there any Igbo here that does not love Mayor? Exactly, I didnt think so. You all love me and I love you even more. We must bring our heads together now and join hands together to continue the tradition of oneness and love.

What is the symbol of APC? The broom! Without insulting the intelligence of my lovely inlaws, the broom signifies togetherness, union, productive output, utility, renewal, efficiency, hygiene, bonding....all the good and great things which I hope my union with you through your daughter Chinyere shall bring into fruition.

I have heard in particular circles that certain people in Ladipo market are not pleased and want to vote against APC to register grievance against their shut out two years ago from this market. I know Igbo people to be peace loving, you do not hold grudges, so this has to be a rumour. You have had Babaloja there in Ladipo now for upward of a year and I read a letter written by Ike not long ago in which he poured adulations on the exemplary leadership and support of Babaloja, Alhaji Abibu Oki.

My people, on Feb 14th, we must stand as ONE! APC is the home of Mayor, I call upon you to stand with me and your daughter and we make APC proud, we bring a renewal, a bonding and a progress back to the land.

Bring every foot of an Igboman in earnest to thumbprint for unity and togetherness on Feb 14th.

Igbo kwenu! Igbo kwenu!! Igbo kwenu!!!

I love my brothers. grin grin grin
