Sorry my brother. Make i see where i keep the link, i go stamp here shortly abeg. i owe a bowl of garri for my error.. ![]() http://www.docstoc.com/docs/123860583/IGBO-LAWYERS-LETTER-TO-GOVERNORS-OF-IGBOLAND |
biafranqueen: The fact remains that all of these Leaders are squandering money.. What happen to the 200 luxury cars for the yeye sports event that Coschairs used for his free importation. It really amazes me that any real citizen living in Nigeria will say the Governor of his or her state is working to the highest capacity Oyo is looking brighter and cleaner then Lagos. Lagos stinks and the Lagoon is contaminated, we are almost finished selling all our property in Lagos because soon that place will be underwater. We made 10 times the amount from investing 10 years ago, so trust me we are happy for the overly priced underwater Island but that place is due for a serious flooding that is why they moved the Government to Abuja. You invested in Lagos 10yrs ago? Well the capital has been moved longer than 10yrs, were you blind, dont know the road from Nnewi to Abuja? Stop using that map left to you by biafra, North is the other way. |
^^^Enough!
Thats a beautiful product. Im proud of him. How many of this beautiful gazzelle does he assemble per month? |
INNOSON vehicle:
Thats his product? How many does he turn out per month from the assembly line? |
Wtf! Dont these people - elrufai, amaechi, - have attending personal assistants ? |
Igbo lawyers calling for all hands on deck. This was 6yrs ago, nothing..I repeat, NOTHING, has been done by these governors to make this noble vision and dream come true. Their inaction explains why my brothers and sisters are displaced from their homeland. People like Innoson should be the pride of Iboland, not Obi or Kalu or these other yeye governors.
|
This is a good model for other aspiring traders to emulate. Congrats to him, proud of his hometown and took development home. The Governors should now support and use him as their brand for homeland renewal, assuming they are serious in renewing their homeland. Talking of governors, have you guys seen the letter written to them back in 2008? I have it, Im your brother I will share with you. ![]() https://www.nairaland.com/1578404/igbo-lawyers-letter-governors-march#20635972 |
PapaBrowne: And by your estimation, the Yoruba tailor who makes my clothes somewhere in the Niger Delta is internally displaced. Same as the Shell worker from Osun state and those guys from Ijebu Ode who sell some roots in bottles. All of them IDPs.Please give us your thoughts on these Yorubas. Share more on their situation. |
TribalEAST: i thinketh thesameth okay Shakespeare. ![]() |
I truly believe the government of Lagos State need to study this issue of IDPs and formulate a policy to properly address it within its own administration, and of course in partnership with Federal Govt and UNCHR. The issue is at an enormous and endemic stage and solutions are needed to correct it. |
Kponkwem: This nonsense thread should be closed immediately. Asap.Im a Nigerian, you will be denying my rights to discuss practical social issues that affect my countrymen when you take such action prescribed by you. |
Bishop Juice: You just had to make this threadPolitical discussion. Please contribute positively. |
Going by this definition, there is no doubt that Ibos are IDPs in Nigeria. What do you think? |
An internally displaced person (IDP) is someone who is forced to flee his or her home but who remains within his or her country's borders. They are often referred to as refugees, although they do not fall within the current legal definition of a refugee. At the end of 2006 it was estimated there were 24.5 million IDPs in some 52 countries. The region with the largest IDP population is Africa with some 11.8 million in 21 countries. Internally displaced persons, or IDPs, are among the world’s most vulnerable people. Unlike refugees, IDPs have not crossed an international border to find sanctuary but have remained inside their home countries. Even if they have fled for similar reasons as refugees (armed conflict, generalized violence, human rights violations), IDPs legally remain under the protection of their own government – even though that government might be the cause of their flight. As citizens, they retain all of their rights and protection under both human rights and international humanitarian law.UNHCR´s original mandate does not specifically cover IDPs, but because of the agency´s expertise on displacement, it has for many years been protecting and assisting millions of them, more recently through the "cluster approach." Under this, UNHCR has the lead role in overseeing the protection and shelter needs of IDPs as well as coordination and management of camps. At the end of 2011, there were an estimated 26.4 million internally displaced people around the world, down slightly on the year before. UNHCR was helping about 15.5 million of the IDPs in 26 countries. These included the three countries with the largest IDP populations – Colombia, Iraq and South Sudan. |
shymexx: Aminu Zangiwa (or whatever his name is) is ndu_chucks.I believe so too. |
INSincere 9gerian, You need to apologize to Cramjones for attributing and falsifying his identity. You cannot convict an innocent person on his obsession alone. If cramjones is an adherent of FFK that in no way makes him personally Fani Kayode. There is a guy aroundbhere called GenBuhari who is obsessed with the ex President, does that make him the Buhari himself? Eko Ile has all kind of pictures and stories on Fashola, including in childhood, does that make him BRF? We have people here that collect momentos and souvenirs and write only on Ojukwu, does that make them the Rugburugburu himself? No! You owe apology to Cramjones for your stewpid trespasses. ![]() |
Sincere 9gerian: ^ ^You exhibit unbelievable foolishness. You talk of speculations but you did in your senseless post is speculate. That is the number one evidence that you'r an eternally confused and daft.Id like to see it, where did he say "im ffk"? |
noblezone: Thats interesting, meaning that eventually if Nigeria wants war over the oil, the owners are ready to give it to them.Amalgamation document is a public material and is available to anyone that wants it. Whats special, unique and exclusive about your "storming" the conference with it, is it a rpg? On creek terrorists and war, guess where it will be fought... |
ketoprofen: The children are local and timid, full stop.Is it not better for these Ibadan kids to play on elevator than to be out in the bush hunting chimpanzee meat for village feast, ehn?
|
They are stockpiling weapons and military hardwares with that money. They are contracted to monitor, patrol and secure coastal waters. Well, this is an opening for them to smuggle weaponry and military equipments into their creeks. Why are foreign oil investors divesting their assets and winding down ownership? It is no longer profitable to do business in a security risk envinronment. Amnesty should be a one time settlement. Why are there earmarks in our budget to buyout terrorists? How many of them are there that we need 63billion yearly to rehabilitate them, and what are we rehabilitating? Its a coy..they are stockpiling! |
ketoprofen: Who has a business without using bank statements to start with?Lagos was part of Western Nigeria mumu. Oshogbo, Oyo and all those places had the same administration with Maryland, Ilupeju, Ikeja, Ogba, Agege, Ikorodu and so on. Ode! |
dayokanu: Honestly the Yorubas like Fashola should be left with administration only.A MILLION LIKES FOR YOU MY BROTHER! You are doggone right! 2million of them left for xmas, 4million of them will be arriving soon, the extra headcount largely adolescence and teens recruited back home for a new apprenticeship. Ibo society is structured on age grade. This is how they make their turn over and grow population, by cycling the grades through trade heirarchies. Their influx is a security issue for the state and like you correctly pointed out, a more radical governor who is ready to offend them first and follow it up with an insult is who we need and must get from APC. |
nku5: Those looking for evidence of this are on a loooong tin. Lagos state government is fighting tooth and nail to prove that the Freedom of Information Bill does not apply to states. I wonder why a supposed world class administration is so afraid to open its books upon all their noble talk when it comes to AbujaBecause unlike your dummy governors in East, Lagos is a pacesetter. We define the path that Ibo and Hausa will follow in constitutional and legal matters. On issues of Nigerian democracy, how many times has any civil rights lawyer fought the govt from Owerri or Awka or Onitsha? None. We set the pace..so if you want FOI, you have the right to set your own pace along that line, tell Adaobi to pioneer the movement for Eastern people. |
agbameta: You talk true no be small. God bless BRF. Range Rover gan sef o ni baje o. I wish it were possible to swap governors; id bring Aregbe to Lagos for just 12 months to show these refugees where East is. ![]() They disturb Fashola too much and is not that he is soft, he is just a generous man and ibos are ungrateful. |
solomon111: you dey mind them?We claim we are not contributing crime to the state. Can ibo refugees in Lagos make the same claim? Your crime level is so bad and pervasive your sister Ngozi, the PR of police command stopped giving any more press report on crime. Everytime she brief press about a crime its a chukudi, obiomma, ifianyi and orkafor. She gave up! |
Bishop Juice: You never cease to amaze me with your brazen and open stupid1tyGo and face Obi in alaibo and tell him to stop using ibo money to build brothels and malls. Eediots! |
Odenigbo Aroli: No,Fashola is spending tax payers money and lagos "aboriginals"(whatever that means) doesn't contribute up to a percentage of the funds used in developing lagos.Yes, he has earned the right to spend tax payers money for public good! You do not see Fashola printed on the license plate, it says LASG 1, it is Lagos Govt property. He is using it to stay safe as he goes on field tour round the state without loud and crazy siren blasting governors like you have in alaibo. Fashola, abeg drop the Range and jump into a Rolls Royce so these onye ibos can have a heart attack. Rolls Royce O ni Baje o! In fact put FASHOLA on its licence plate so they can commit suicide. ![]() |
Boss13: Okay I agree with you on this one. Continue to inform us on vital details. However, FFK you must project yourself more as a Nigerian first before you consider yourself a Yoruba, just like your Godfather ObasanjoYou sure have a lot of mouth, running up and down in delirium of your discoveries. Do you have any "fact" that cramjones is ffk, or are these just illusive rants? |
COOL DK: Dear NLs, wont you be surprised with this? Or maybe I’m the one been ignorant about the fee in the subject.Since the introduction of radio to Lagos have you ever heard of free broadcast? Lagos stopped collecting license fee at a point in time, they are going back to the books to apply their past ordinances. |
I would love for Fashola to buy more of those expensive luxury vehicles, in fact if we are asked to vote a preference I would vote a RR or Bentley for my governor. We should reward hardwork, dilligence and performance to incite and encourage others to rise up for their own reward. Besides, this man does not use siren or stop movement to use our dangerous roads, he deserves the protection. Range Rover O ni Baje O! |
