He should talk to Aunty to help visit his constituent and speak on his behalf. She can save him, she is a very good people person and good with words also. |
Kathmandu:Hahahaha... . Yeye gal!no mind me sweetie. Im waiting on you to come and feed and nurture my growth. |
Kathmandu:See my last post, inclusive of accommplished Nigerians in diaspora. |
SalamRushdie:Nigerian government sent congratulatory message to a Chief of Police in NY (or NJ, I cant recall). A lady also of Nigerian background but American citizen. Her responsibility and patriotism is American, not Nigerian. She received it well and even made it public with pride. Go and read the story of Dehinde Fernandez, he is passed now. A man that served as diplomat and official for different foreign governments but yet proud of his roots. So whats the big deal of Onwura being a member of British Parliament? She doesnt need to diss congratulatory message from Nigeria. She is a leader of society and leaders are calculating and tactful in diplomatic relations, not arrogant and dissmisive. C'mon! |
Caseless:Its the Ibo in her blood. . |
Im not surprised. The Ibo arrogance has nothing to do with environment, its genetic. |
igbodefender:You are loosing sight of the actual events on ground. You are creating fears and a stampede ahead of identifying the terror. I believe Nigeria is playing with fire at moment. If SE erupts into chaos, and it can easily get to that through the euphoria of expanding fraternity in the Biafran movement. Kanu has secured the faithfuls in his mantra. They are ready to sacrifice their lives for him to live. There is back and forth between conventional authorities and non conventional movements, the air is charged! Any slight attempt to suppress the Biafran faithfuls will trigger reaction and could become uncontrollable. The youths of SE will hit the streets and chant freedom. Youths in SS, SW, NC ...and even in NW with no affinity or sympathy for Biafra will also see opportunity to vent their frustration with the system. The whole nation could be on fire. This is what Yorubas are warning the Presidency against. To act quick and manage the energy before it explodes. If the SE boys hit the streets you better believe the ones in SS will too, and so is MiddleBelt. SW maybe, NW maybe. NE has a situation that handicaps them from political partivipation so we can exempt them. So focus on the energy of Biafran faithfuls in SE....they could be the trigger to Nigerian Spring if nothing is done from the center pretty fast. |
Hopeful20100:Rochas was just asking for list of Igb prisoners around the world. You know what you are planning is a felony in most countries and indeed carry prison terms if found guilty of Arson and Vandalism with, get this...."premeditated intent". Minimum 5yrs if done in US. Now,if they want to throw the book at you, your charges will include Malicious Act, Terroristic Act, Terrorism against a foreign sovereingty,....you are looking at ten or more years. Ol boy, send your name and your crew to Rochas so you can be on top of the list. As far Kanu goes, snipers are waiting, warn him not to enter Yorubaland. We will treat him like he asked Kumuyi to be treated, like he asked Yoruba ewedu eater looking for Radio Biafra to be treated. We will waste him.... |
I strongly believe some parts of SS will go into the Biafran union with Ibos. I read Ekweremadu's speech about why Biafra must be rejected. One of the unknown factor in his thoughts is the direction of SS. Im truly surprised that even a very highly placed and politically accomplished person like Ekweremadu could not find a bridge path across which to build alliance with ethnicities in his neighbourhood. Thats appalling! Ekweremadu has been deputy Senate Leader for the third consecutive time and been in Senate since 2003, yet he lacks negotiating skills to connect and cement binding relationships with the people in SS. Maybe not all...but at least two with resource and access to sea and an international border. The coalition with Jonathan was fruitful, it should have a followup and expansion agenda for regional understanding and growth, as well political and military cooperation. The reason your alarm will ring fears and change atittude about Biafra is because Biafran leaders are politically inept. This is why Kanu is winning. He is raw, politically incorrect, a rebel to the conservative Nigeria and offers the Biafrans a relief of fresh air from under the suffocation. |
igbodefender:Rochas talked to them in the mindset he will address a Nigerian in political office to "facilitate" release of a prisoner. The offivial will equally call somebody who will call another person and render the favor, and voila...prisoner is released! We are very democratically backward, and nobody demonstrates it best than our democratically elected officers. Other countries represented by the diplomats in his audience have a respect and honor for their society and do not interfere in the normal course of a legal process to win favors...never! Im sure they will listen to Rochas and tell him "we will review your request", and head out the door. Didnt Rochas say he is interested in running for Presidency? Another clueless President in our future polity! |
The Pan-Yoruba militant movement, Oodua People’s Congress (OPC) has resolved to abolish ‘Factions’ that has decimated the unity of the group over the years. OPC regret that the hitherto factions led by Dr. Fredrick Fasehun and Otunba Gani Adams respectively was “a vain of unity and development in Yoruba land”. According to the Congress, “the Oodua People’s Congress (OPC) is now one with no allegiance to any of the two leaders for the peace, greatness and development of Yoruba Nation”. This was contained in a communique issued and signed by the trio of OPC chieftains, Comrade Razaq Arogundade, Comrade Dare Adesope and Hon. Mutiu Balogun Ololade respectively after participating in the Yoruba Unity Retreat held in Ibadan and organised by The Yoruba Leadership and Peace Initiative. The communique urged all Yoruba sons and daughters as well as Yoruba leaders and the entire citizens of Nigeria “to henceforth see Oodua People’s Congress, OPC, as one with no affiliation to any faction or any of the two leaders who have mortgaged the future of Yoruba Nation for their own selfish interests.” Specifically, the communique declared that “the entire members of the group have equally resolved to relieve the erstwhile leaders, Dr Fredrick Faseun and Otunba Gani Adams of their positions.” “We decided to make this decision in the interest of all Yoruba sons and daughters as these two leaders have failed Yoruba Nation due to political partisanship which had been a cog in the wheel of development of Yoruba Nation,” it said. The communique states further: “As Oodua People’s Congress, OPC, is now one; we have resolved to defend Yoruba Nation from any form of attack either internal or external attacks. Any attempt by any tribe, group or people to attack, molest or tamper with the fundamental human rights of Yoruba sons and daughters will be met with equal response from Oodua People’s Congress, OPC., “We equally commend Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi (III) for clarifying the controversy making round on the instalment of new Aare Ona Kakanfo. The position of the first class Oba on the issue has shown that the royal father is an upholder of merit as the position is not for charlatans and morally bankrupt individuals. “The entire members of Oodua People’s Congress, OPC equally condemn some persons of questionable characters who have been parading themselves as the next Aare Ona Kakanfo of Yoruba land. As such misleading members of the public. We are also calling on Oodua descendants both at home and in the Diaspora that reformation is ongoing in the organization now and we welcome advice, suggestions or any form of contributions that will bring about positive transformation to the organization from concern descendants in any part of the world. United we stand and divided we fall. We are ever ready to work with all other Oodua groups in other to get to the Promised Land.” http://thenationonlineng.net/opc-abolishes-factions-frederick-fasehun-gani-adams-unite/

•Governor hosts defence attaches, advisers Imo State Governor Rochas Okorocha yesterday called for the list and identities of Igbo sons and daughters in various prisons and detention facilities across the world. The governor also requested for the particulars of the offences they committed to enable his administration see if it can play any role to secure their freedom. He noted that the “possibility of some of them being unjustly imprisoned could not also be ruled out”. Okorocha spoke in Owerri, the state capital, when he hosted defence advisers and attaches from various countries serving in Nigeria during their visit to the Government House. Defence Advisers and attaches in attendance were: Brigadier-General Augustine Agundu (Director Foreign Liaison at DIA), Col. Patrick Doyle (U.S.A), Snr. Col. Wang Runxu (China), Col. Thomas Ludulla (Germany), Col. Moussa Labbo (Niger Republic), Commodore Luciano Conegela (Angola), Col. Michael Shatamuka (Zambia), Col. Mark Nuson (Ghana), Col. Kuttche Rogger (Cameroon), Lt.-Col. Daislike Nagatani (Japan), among others. The governor noted that furnishing his administration with the particulars of such Igbo sons and daughters and the nature of the offences, which warranted their incarceration, would make his administration know the right action to take. He said: “Many Igbo sons and daughters are languishing in the various prisons of the world with some for obvious reasons and some unlawfully imprisoned. I beg, as a governor of the state, that if you go home, especially those from China, Korea, Turkey and the United States of America (U.S.A) and you facilitate their release, I will be ready to come over and pick them and reintegrate them into our society. “Imo is where you have the brain box of the nation: the literacy rate is very high here. We are very industrious people; we control the commerce of this nation. You have come to the right place for cultural interaction and exchange. You will meet the right people. “Often than not, Nigeria receives a misconception and we suffer a very bad image across the world. Yet, this is the place everyone wants to come to. Believe me, among the foreigners who have come to Nigeria, 90 per cent of them don’t normally want to go back. So, the question is: if Nigeria was bad, why are those coming in finding it difficult to go back? I think it is rather what I may call the media misinterpretation and the media war we suffer in this country. https://www.google.com/amp/thenationonlineng.net/okorocha-calls-list-igbo-foreign-prisons/amp/

Hopeful20100:what a balderdash! Elites and billionaires will create time to discuss Kanu....when they can easily instruct GOC of a command unit to roll truck in and snatch him up for journey back to kuje. You are dreaming dude |

May his soul rest in peace! |
He should start using the word "OUR ADMINISTRATION...", instead of Buhari Administration. |
PDPGuy:Sexual harrassment law has expanded tremendously to include ridiculous claims. Did you notice the flag word Kate used? Body shamed! She is highlighting her psychological state of mind in the episode. In other words "i felt belittled"! In a sexual harrassment case the state of mind and the severity of the traumatic efffect carries more weight for favorable judgement, than arguing physical evidence. Im sure you have heard of rape victims loosing case to their offender. Its because lawyer focused too heavily on material evidence and little on the state of mind. So a client could, for instance, argue that since the their teenage son saw Kate's pointed t1tties he has become curious and started viewing nude pictures. Thats cause and effect with a life altering behavioral that the parent of the minor, in their judgement and with custodial rights, deemed "abnormal" for the son. Now they can spin it into a clinical corner and say they are thinking of enrolling him in therapy classes. Its absurd....but we are talking of courtroom! ![]() |
Does her job have a dress code? During recruitment was she given training, in which proper dressing was taught or instructed? Is there a training record on file for Kate, and bearing a signature of her acknowledgement of what is considered proper and improper dressing? What's her work task at the job, is it people-facing? Who are her clients, do they include children, family and married couples? Does her braless appearance such that could catch attention and interest of young underage teenagers? Are customers coming with their children to patronise her employer likely to be offended by her dressing? Are wives in the store with their husbands likely to feel unease and uncomfortable with her presence in front of their husbands? Kate, sexual harrassment has new dimension of coverage. Any of your clients could sue your employer for indecent exposure to their minor children ....or even sexually harassing their husbands with your jugs. watch it! |
Lagos Traditional Rulers! Really, and not a single Eze ndigbo was invited? Ezioku!! Traditional rulers of Lagos meeting and an invite was not sent to Nwanne. Diebanyi, oturu ga mpafuka. Markfemi2:The North pushes forward in disregard of an Oba in Jebba and the Yoruba majority to claim Kwara as a Northern State. They invite them into political deliberations in Kaduna. How many times has Yoruba invited its majority in Kwara to a political deliberation in Ibadan? Are you aware Kwara used to be known as West Central State? Yoruba need to show leadership and reorient its position in reference to the center. The constitution of Nigeria is not a Holy grail....it can legally be compromised and we ought to do that. |
