It would be obvious if Saraki visited Jagaban. This delegate is the proSaraki-for-VP group in Senate. There is already a background power tussle. If Osinbajo becomes President, his VP must now be Muslim from North. Saraki meets both criterias but Northerners are crying foul, claiming even though he is regionally a Northerner, Saraki is ethnically Yoruba. A Yoruba/Yoruba is bad combo for North ambition in 2019. |

Tonygeesm: THE GENEALOGY OF IGBOS:
The Igbos and who they are. (read and forward).
If you don't know where you are coming from definitely you will never no where you are going to, we must know our root and who we are.
I am here to give you another EDUCATIVE and INFORMATIVE masterpiece. If you are Igbo then this write-up will help you know more about yourself and where you are coming from, but if you are not Igbo, now you have the opportunity to learn more about the Igbos and why they exhibit some of their characters. It is a very powerful masterpiece and it took me time to gather them together. First of all, I will want you to bring out your BIBLE because 30% percent of whatever I will say are recorded in the Holy book. Like I said, it took me time to do this research. For those of you who think there is nothing connecting Igbos and Israelites, then I can tell you that you are wrong. Igbos are 100% Jews. It is simply for educating the young ones and letting them know where they are coming from.
Read on to know where you fall into.
Let's begin according to Genesis 29 vs 30: JACOB had twelve (12) sons namely: #1. Ruben #2. Simeon #3. Levi #4. Judah #5. Dan #6. Naphtali #7. Gad #8. Asher #9. Issachar #10. Zebulun #11. Joseph #12. Benjamin.
The 7th son was GAD. and according to Genesis 46 vs16. GAD had seven (7) sons namely: Ziphon Haggi Shunni Ezbon Eri Arodi Areli.
Sometime in Middle East, famine struck and Jacob moved with his family and about 70 other relations to Egypt. But before then Joseph (which was 11th son of Jacob) had already been sold to Egypt by his brothers, where he was made Governor General under a King Pharaoh. As time goes on when the Pharaoh that knows Joseph died, they started suffering persecutions from the hand of Egyptians but ERI the 5th son of GAD foresaw the danger, persecution, and wickedness coming and he decided to leave in time with his two younger brothers, ARODI & ARELI with one of his half brothers.
They travelled through Ethiopia, Sudan and down towards West Africa through river nile and landed at a place known as AGULERI today through Omambala river in Anambra state, around 1305 BC.
(I) ERI established and lived close to the Omambala river. He was wealthy and wise like his great grand father (Abiama) Abraham. That is why Anambra state has the highest number of rich people in Africa. ERI; had five (5) sons: (1) Agulu (2) Atta (3) Oba (4) Hebrew/Ibo (5) Menri
(1) AGULU; as the first son stayed back and established in the place known as Agulu-ERI (Agulu son of ERI) in Anambra state.
(2) ATTA; moved to upward North and established a place known as "IGALA Kingdom " and that is why their overall KING is known as "Atta of IGALA" in Kogi state
(3) OBA; left and founded a place known as Oba Kingdom in Anambra state.
(4) HEBREW; which have been changed to mean Hibo or Ibo. He was very powerful spiritual man and that is why people from this area are always very spiritual. He left and founded Igbo-Etiti, Igbo-Adagbe, Igbo- Eze (within Nsukka and parts of Anambra).
(5) MENRI left and founded a place known as ""AgukwuNRI". NRI Kingdom.
(II). ARODI moved to a place known as "ARO- CHUKWU". Very industrious and good at arts and crafts. (e.g: Aba Ngwa people of Aba). ARODI gave birth to: (1) Nembe (2) Ngwa (3) Abakaliki (4) Ogoni (5) Afikpo (6) Aro-Ikot Ekpene (Akwa Ibom ) (7) Aro- Echie (Rivers state) ( Arondizuogu.
During slave trade Aro spread all over the world. America, Cuba, Brazil and "ARO-festival" is always been celebrated in CUBA.
(III). ARELI was a man with a lot of Wisdom. The native tongue of his descendants is today known as "Central Igbo". And people from this Area have the highest number of graduates and professors in Igbo land. ARELI gave birth to: (1) Owerri (2) Umuahia (3) Diobu (River state) (4) Okigwe (5) Orlu (6) Nkwerre (7) Elele (Mba Ise) (9) Mba Ano, etc...
ERI half brothers moved and founded IJAW nationality and some parts of Edo State and many other parts of Niger Delta.
EVIDENCES and SIMILARITIES: Now to verify some of the things I have said above.
(1) If you get to Aguleri there is a particular house known as OBI GAD (house of GAD).
Remember GAD was the 7th son of Jacob (Gen 29:30) and GAD had five (5) sons of which the last three (3) who were ERI, ARODI and ARELI and some of their half brothers left Egypt to West Africa). The OBI GAD was the resting or relaxing place for ERI and his brothers and they named it OBI GAD in order to honour their father (GAD, the 7th son of Israel). This OBI GAD was the first house built in Igboland. This is the reason why every Igbo man always build a place called OBI/OBU in his house in honour of his father and mainly for relaxation and in the olden days, there is always a family shrine or little oracle, and why they worship Oracle then was because they left EGYPT before GOD gave 10 commandments to Moses for the Israelites, of which one of the 10 commandments is against idol worship. (even though modern day Igbos now build OBI as outside BAR without any Shrine, while some Christians don't build OBI anymore because of their beliefs). It can also be Called ERI TEMPLE. The Obi GAD also serve as a Consulting place for some royal fathers from other community that have Direct root to ERI.
ANOTHER EVIDENCE.
(2) At the Burial place of ERI, there is a TRINITY TREE standing on the grave site. These are three Trees but are strongly United and connected by Single Tap Root.
(3) "ADA" means first Daughter in Israel (Gen 4 vs 19- 20) and it means the same thing in Igbo language.
(4) Before an Igbo man makes a contribution in a public gathering, he will shout "Igbo kwenu " and the people will respond "Yah" and "Yah" is short form of " Yahweh. Yahweh is the name of Jewish GOD.
(5) STAR OF DAVID AND some bronze medals Encrypted with Hebrew Codes were found in many part of the Igbo land.
(6) Israelis (Jews) manufactures 80% the world weapons and 70% of USA weapons. Just like Igbos manufactured 80% of all the weapons used during Biafran. Which no other African nation has done. Igbos were only defeated during the war due to Hunger policy.
By now, we would have manufacturing war weapons for Africans, and no country will have to go outside Africa to purchase weapons to fight Insurgency, if not for the bad policy of Nigeria. Igbos are the most highly technologically inclined people in the whole of Africa.
You will also notice that Igbos always handle the post of science and technology and industry in most Nigeria ministerial post.
The first West African billionaire is from Nnewi: Chief Sir Louis Ojukwu.
The black Indigenous Vehicle Manufacturers eg:
INNOSON MOTORS AND COSHARIS MOTORS,
Indigenous MOBILE PHONE AND COMPUTER MANUFACTURERS eg:
(A) SLOK MOBILE (Orji Uzo kalu)..
(B) ZINOX COMPUTERS (Leo Stan Ekeh).
(C) SLOT MOBILE (NNAMDI EZEIGBO)
(D) Father of internet and founder of the fastest computer in the world (PHILIP EMEAGWALI) etc.
(7) We carry home our dead ones just like the Israelites (Gen 49 vs 29-50). (Just like the Israelites, we were led or ruled by Elders and Priest. There was no King in Israel until Samuel appointed Saul as the King of Israel and that was why Israelites were led by Prophet Moses and so many other Prophets.
CONCLUSION: Isreali Ambassador (Noah Katz) Confirmed that Igbos are Jews. (Check Daily Sun Newspapers 28th March 2004). Therefore, Igbo are the Engine Block and Japan of Africa , no wonder an Author with international reputation, "Emefiena Ezennia" said that "In Biafra Africa Died". We are good people, we love our neighbours, we accommodate anybody. We can live everywhere and develop anywhere. It is in our blood to develop. We need Igbos to develop Nigeria, Africa and even the world as a whole, we are God's people, a chosen generation!
Nigeria should stop the marginalization of the Igbos and the Biafrans or let them have their freedom.
For the Igbos we should know who we are, dream and think bigger, for you are the son of the most high God, the God of Abraham (Abiama) believe in yourself and work harder as it is in your blood, I began to compose a "myth buster" on this bs but it dawned on me this write up is targeted at Ibos, and not the general public, even though its contained in a public domain. Good luck to you all and hope you all connect back to your ancestral land in Israel. |

9jakool: Bassa Nge and Kakanda are stand alone ethnic groups with very close affiliation to Nupes. They inhabit some parts of Lokoja lga.
The largest piece of land in Lokoja is however occupied by the Oworo from Chokochoko to Obajana(where Dangote's largest cement mine/plant is located) to Agbaja(a community surrounded by mountains) to Budon(a fishing community located near the Niger) and YES to parts of Lokoja.
Okunland is very blessed with abundant mineral resources like iron ore and limestone. Okunland supplies a huge chunk of Kogi's mineral resources and earnings, but it's still very underdeveloped. Despite Okun being 1 of the 3 largest ethnic groups in Kogi, they are relatively marginalized. The children of Okun need to make this call repetitive and loud. Bring up a media campaign on Social Media and be heard. One thread in 6months talking about the desire to carve a broad Yoruba Commonwealth encompassing from Lagos to Lokoja will not be enough. The campaign must be consistent and engaging. |

9jakool: Oh YES it could be Lokoja. If you have taken anything from this thread, you would know that many Yorubas want a homogenous Okun State. No need to fret. Ok? Like you said, those ethnic groups cannot join and the Okun don't want them to join either. The Yoruba parts of Lokoja will be ceded to Okun state. Not a single Okun territory will be left behind in creation of an Okun state. People will loose territories if they lean too muvh on their sub culture, because they will have no strong political cause to sponsor and support their drive. Oworo is Yoruba. In a struggle for Lokoja Yoruba will carry Oworo's interest along. This Kakanda and Bassa, what ethnic groups are they sub to? |

The Origin of Eko (Lagos)
There is a lot of traditional history at both Benin and Lagos ends relating to the origin of what is now Lagos, its ruler and it's connection with Benin. But perhaps to avoid inadequacies and controversy which the academics claim surrounds traditional history, we may like to hear what some modern historians have to say on this subject. Robert S. Smith, in his book of some principal Yoruba owns, especially in and around Oyo, and the westward expansion in the 17th century of Benin Kingdom with it's number of subject towns on or near to the coast, which included Lagos, went on to say this about Lagos in particular:
"It's name reflect it's past to the Yoruba it's Eko, deriving probably from the farm (Oko) of the earliest settlers, though alternatively-or additionally-it may be the Benin word (Eko) for a war-camp...We say Eko is a Benin word that means camp"
After describing the activities of the armies of Benin under Oba Orhogbua, culminating in his arrival at what is now Lagos, Smith went on to add:
"Sometime later the Oba appointed a ruler for Lagos to represent the interest of Benin and to forward tribute there. The man chosen is named in both Lagos and Benin Tradition as Ashipa"
Smith says that by Lagos account this Ashipa was an Isheri Chief, while the Benin account says Ashipa was a grandson of the Oba of Benin. We shall come to this later. Smith was, however, satisfied that Benin had established it's ascendency in Lagos and had founded a dynasty there at some period before 1700.The dyansty's dependence on Benin, Smith found, was emphasized by the appointment of another Chief, the Eletu Odibo, who alone had the right to crown the Oba and who in early times probably maintained close connection with Benin,.(Eletu Odibo is a corruption of the Edo equivalent Olotu Odibo)
"G.T. Stride and C. Ifeka, in their book titled Peoples and empires pf West Africa have this to say on the same subject:
Oba Orhogbua was clearly a strong warrior for he enforced tribute payments from all parts of the empire and in the middle 1550s conquered all the coastal lands up to Lagos where he left a permanent garrison. Tradition in Lagos says that their first Oba, the Eleko of Eko, was a son of the Oba Orhogbua of Benin"
It will be seen, therefore, that even if we were to disregard traditional history there is enough material from modern historians to confirm the fact that what is now Lagos was founded by an Oba of Benin who also gave it it's first ruler. But we really cannot disregard traditional history. In Benin tradition, and we believe the same of Yoruba and other ethnic groups in this country, one way to establish that an event in traditional history did occur is by the type of anecdote or adage that evolves from that event . Thus, for instance, We Edo people say that "Orhogbua gb'Olague, ona y'ukpe abekpen z'umwen rie Edo, meaning that Oba Orhogbua defeated Olague and used sword to bring his salt to Benin, This is in allusion of to the exploits of Oba Orhogbua while in his camp (Eko) from where he over-ran the place known as Mahin with it's ruler whom the Benin People nicknamed Olague. There Orhogbua discovered the common rock salt and brought it to Benin who thereby tasted it for the first time.
Now the name "Ashipa has featured quite prominently (and rightly too) in the history of Lagos. After the Oba Orhogbua returned to Benin from Eko, he appointed a commander or an administrator, who was called Aisikpa to look after the skeleton troop left in the camp(Eko) until he returned again from Benin. He could no longer return having seen the situation at home. The name "Aisikpahienvoborre" which means "people do not desert their home-land. "This is how Aisikpa, whom the Yoruba now call Ashipa, came into the Lagos (Eko) history. Eko is still there as the traditional Benin name for Lagos; Ashipa has been retained as a senior traditional chieftaincy title while his descendants now retain the modern name of Oba of Lagos. The interaction of Edo people with others in distant lands must have inevitably resulted in cultural exchanges.

Also, are you aware a Yorubaman has not headed Ports Authority in past 10 or more years? What other port in Nigeria is profitable besidr the one in Yorubaland? Politics › Re: Yorubas Get In Here - Tinubu & Akande by MayorofLagos(m): 11:02am On Jul 06, 2017 |
First, as much as I love Yoruba I am not a fan of our media. Yoruba media has a lot of career journalists that are busy doing "fine bara". They are not politically conservative and are ill trained in political reporting. They cover news but do not serve as political news machine for West.
Second, the news media in North act as political voice in addition to disseminating news.
Few of us have been asking for a long time now that the term SW should be disused and we need to go back saying West when covering Yorubaland. Between the two words Southwest and West the imagination visualizes two land mass, one smaller than the other. By calling ourselves Southwest we have subscribed to the Northern initiative to reduce and confine us to a smaller political landscape compared with North.
We were not the only area in zones, why does Fulani North insist on calling itself NORTH instead of NW? Its political semantics.
Through the use of political semantics you can carve fear, anger, fury, displeasure, disapproval, ....all kind of emotions to keep your target/s under the control of your propaganda.
The North are aware that people of South particularly Yoruba love to show flair for new words and grammar. Even words that are meant to disarm us and put us under control of Northern political machinery we voluntarily spin and popularize it, rather than shut it down and counter it.
Through the use and distribution of certain political semantics and language of domination we have surrendered our will without our opposition raising one finger.
So I must ask, who and what is Northern Cabal? This is a replacement for Kaduna Mafia which was the language of fear and domination under military.
Why is there no Western Cabal? |

This would be a good window for the khaki boys to come in and take over, chasing PYO into a compulsory I.T of 9 months!
Its a high level chess game here, the Igbo are not truly the target rather they are just collateral damage. The main target is just getting FULL control of the aso villa and war against the Igbo's is a wonderful recipe to attain such.
Yoruba's seem to play the sitting on the fence game and keep acting deaf because the threats ain't towards them, forgetting the fact that PYO on that sit is the REAL war.
The thing go touch everybody but it might be too late to realize. When that precious question of "are you Igbo or Hausa" is being asked by the almajiri, it would definitely be in Hausa language and not English or pidgin. Woe betides any who can't respond accordingly in Hausa language to defend himself and avoid the dagger.
At the very end, when the north takes back FULL control of the Aso villa, the slogan will return to status quo of "One Nigeria" chants from the north!
Yoruba no go see wetin HIT them Arent you guys daft for this line of thought? So in order to remove one Yorubaman from power they want to sacrifice the lives of thousands of Ibos. Where is the sense in that and how does it reward Ibo looking for Yoruba displacement in Aso rock? Look at it this way, here is what you are saying....
