Why the waste of state funds
This is an exception. Her father, Victor Olaiya was a legend! He was a cultural ambassador for Nigeria.

Stadium Hotel served as the hotel of choice for many sport teams to lodge in when meeting at National Stadium for a competition.

Victor Olaiya had a resident live band that played high life, a mix of Calypso and Jazz, and entertained guests.

He was popular across West Africa and put Nigeria in the minds of visiting teams.

Moji herself is a cultural ambassador for Ekiti State. Im not sure her father was so honored in death, but in the face of internet Nollywood has done in our time what Victor Olaiya did in our father's time and Moji is a face of that cultural export. She deserved the honor by the state.
CultureRe: Eyo Festival Ends With A Serious Fight Between Eyo Masquerades In Lagos (Video) by MayorofLagos(m): 6:01am On May 21, 2017
Ologede is senior in rank to Eti.

By protocol all Eyos when fully clothed and masked must keep their staff in an upright lifted position and not touvh ground. If not masked or not in full regalia the staff must point and touch to ground

When a single Eyo randomly comes into view of a group of Eyo, whether fully clothed or not, masked or not, must show respect by lowering his staff and point to ground.

Its okay when a group of Eyo comes in view of another set with lateral ranking to observe courtesy, but is not necessary to lower staff.

When a group of Eyo comes in view of a group of another set of Eyo and of senior rank, the lower grade Eyo must lower staff in respect and maintain courtesy, giving the senior rank privilege of passage. Their staff must remain lowered untill the senior group has filed past.

It is not acceptable that a junior group of Eyo fail to yield or lower staff in observance of respect to the senior group of Eyo when their paths cross.

In the case of a violation discipline must be delivered on the spot by the senior group.

The following are acceptable mode of discipline
1 - The use of staff to whip members of the junior group
2 - Seize their hats
3 - Report them to Olori Eyo for penalty and possibly suspension from further outing in successive festivals for a period of time.

Eti and Bajulaye are notorious for acts of indiscipline and lack of respect to other Eyos. Moreso Eti...they deserved the beating from Ologede. They were lucky this was not Laba...

Laba will kill couple of them to bring awareness to the protocol and teach lessons to potential violators in future.

We are going to encourage it and raise him to a legend status so they worship him. Then we will coopt him so he becomes a vote go-getter for APC. Amala and ewedu party will carry every state in Iboland. Asiwaju is coming to teach you how to generate IGR. grin

They began switching party to meet qualification for the post. Then Lawal was sacked and Aso rock has been flooded by Ibo. Fvck Biafra, fvk Kanu, nwanfors know what time it is.

Even Peter Obi has gone to Ota to prostrate and beg Baba to support him for the SGF job.

RomanceRe: Recommended Him To A Friend's Friend, Now I Want Him To Mysel. by MayorofLagos(m): 3:29pm On May 13, 2017
Merbearie:
I met this fantastic guy over a year ago, but i was in a long-term serious relationship so i turned him down. We lost touch until a few weeks ago when a friend of mine mentioned that a friend of hers was looking for husband. I always thought he would make a great husband so i recommended him. I Sent pictures and his social media handle for her to check him out. She found him suitable and didnt mind that he has a young child. They asked me to contact him and determine his interest level in and if he already has someone.

I asked him to call me and when he did, our conversation was like we had not slipped a day at all. It flowed effortlessly and he expressed his desire for me to give him a chance since i am now single. I told him the reason i contacted him and he said he is only interested in me. I thorougly enjoyed our conversation and want to take it further with him. But how do i break it to my friend now that it wont happen with her friend and him? I feel a sting of guilt. I initally made the recommendation with a very clear conscience because i am still nursing my breakup and didnt see myself in another relationship now.
Grab him for yourself and save heartaches later.

If you give him to a friend the connections between you and him are still intact and whenever he has situations with the other girl he will want to run to you for emotional relief. Because you like him and accomodating....eventually you will fvck him! If you do it once you will repeat it many times more. You see where im going...? grin

Keep him to yourself and save the future!

A set of animals who have no human empathy that they even desecrate the dead and sell the organs in black market like the said person was not a human but an animal.

A tribe who is KNOWN to kill their own brethren like goats all for the human meat market.

A tribe whose own brother started a campaign to try and end the cannibalism of their dead obas organs by it's people.

The set known to drug and kill both their own and non indigienous just to harvest their organs

Highly laughable this set of walking demons have the audacity to claim they "seek justice".

The so called "Tochukwu" has not done half the shit Afonja are known for.

In this instance how has Ibo responded? You dodge and demonize the innocent girl.

He is a yoruba and you dare ask this question.

Yoruba and northerners are EXACTLY alike. Both have a psychotic mindset and killers. The only difference is the northerners act out their animalistic thoughts. The yoruba on the other hand wish others would act there thought for them. Why do you think it was reported that Yorubas that the ones wishing igbo death the most during biafra war

Truly they wish the igbos were killed by the youths and not just protest. This is a the FACT!!! Considering their comments

Afonjas are wicked and devilish. I've told you all this before but alas, you thought otherwise. When you learn the demons you live with them you expect nothing less when they act the demons they are
Yorubas exact justice, nothing more, nothing less!

It is unfair an Ijaw girl was drugged, tortured, cannibalized and then murdered, all pointing to premeditation to commit murder and crime, by Tochucku, Iboman. In the aftermath of it and while the government and the community leaders are working to condole the youths and calm situation, we are yet to hear Ohanaeze, IPOB, MASSOB, or any Ibo voice of leadership speak up in condemnation of the gruesome attack. Those who spoke did so to deny Tochuckwu is Ibo or even to question the character of the girl.

Im really surprised you guys are yet to call Tochuckwu an Afonja that carried out this act to spite and invite death on Ibo in Bayelsa. When are you going to call Tochukwu Afonja from Osun?

However, Ohanaeze will label Governor Ambode ndigbo enemy #1 for demolishing illegal structures occupied by yanmirins in Oshodi where they use the structures as base to rob and kidnap motorists on Oshodi road.

PoliticsRe: Nigeria Must Decide What It Wants From The Igbo by MayorofLagos(m): 4:33am On May 11, 2017
BabaRamota1980:
Is there any statistical proof that Ibo control economy of Nigeria? Is there any proof they are enterprising more than other tribes when the market is open and free of monopolies? These numbers that promote Ibo dominating import market, clothing market, auto parts market, hardware market...and are not disputed....invariably serve as statistical samples for opinion on how the market will react to the call for referendum on Biafra.

All the resources and infrastructures that give Ibo edge on those listed areas are all located in zoogeria. So when the die is cast you will have an economic decision to make and the political interest will highly likely suffer a defeat.

What alternative do you have to imports? Any infrastructure in place to support that? In addition, look in my posts and go find what i said about biafra staying in as member of West African States.

Your choice to belong in West Africa is at conflict with your political drive for Biafra.

If you become Biafra and remain in ECOWAS then you have squandered your opportunities because as Biafra you will now have dependency, not citizenry with the nationalities of Yoruba and others through whom your revenue stream flow in. They can therefore ruin Biafra at will by creating predatory policies.

Have you no sense?
Baba Ramo,
You are always on point!

Did you read the lectures on Awo's 30th? If you didn't, Yoruba does not need to recreate the wheel.

Few months ago every Ibo on the street and at every layer of social strata were excited and clamouring for Biafra. The more Nigeria opposed it the louder their cry for Biafra. The opposition feeds a frenzy that raises Biafran worth and makes it appear a valuable and prized goal. All of a sudden that ceiling dropped and Yoruba and Fulani are now reviewing the options and in fact encouraging Kanu to lead Ibos to their desired Biafran sovereingty. On the Ibo side we begin to see division, realities are setting in and they become jittery of the possibility of their split and slide from a position of known advantage to that of unknown risks.

The first casualty will be osus
Next will be mega traders
After that will be civil servants
Then those who leased lands for real estate
Coming after them will be private sector workers
....and so on and so forth.

Examples abound all over the world how real and imagined properties of a nation are divested along with its nationality.

These Ibos open threads on social ideas and inject ethnic flavors into it deliberately. They do it because they know Yorubas are political animals and will start analyzing and contributing points. They take these points as inputs for their think tanks to formulate approaches and responses to issues they are untested in.

So i suggest say less, swallow his insult and dodge his challenges.

For anyone interested in knowing what percentage of Ibos are for Biafra they should wait for referendum. If they call us liars and accuse us of coming short, so be it.... we'd rather come short and keep our strategies hidden than prove our worth and give opponents advantage.

For those curious how and what will happen to Ibo properties and business, Nigeria is not first country to dissolve, go into online records and get ideas.
PoliticsRe: Northern Nigeria Is Too Tolerant - Facts Cannot Be Disputed by MayorofLagos(m): 12:07am On May 10, 2017
Just in case there are doubters....

Pre-Nigerian petrodollar, Cotton exports were from Yorubaland, not North. Its introduction to North was not fully supported and groundnut was the mainstay cash crop in North Nigeria.

So how could North have built Nigeria on groundnut and cotton? Yoruba owns claim on revenue-stream from cotton exports, pre Niger Delta oil.

Cocoa, Cotton and Palm Oil were chief exports from Yorubaland.

May Orisa bless you for this effort. Yoruba complacency and.....You know, Prof. Peter Ekeh, an Urhobo man had warned Prof. Ade Ajayi and other Yoruba pofessors to stand up to the false novel theory.

It has now caught fire and accepted as "alternate facts".
Very good observation!

I foresee a future not long from now when Yoruba Obas will sit on the throne of their forefathers suited in English dress..... tie and jacket. You can call me an alarmist but I say this to highlight the depth of damage that has befallen us in a span of just 100yrs.. If you dial back the time, 100yrs ago is 1918. What was happening in our communitiy and society in 1918? Check it out online to see. Compare with what we have now.

So in a span of 100yrs we have been whitewashed and made to discredit and violate historical origins.

The academically tutored Yoruba historians reject the idea of Yoruba coming from Arabia East. The trigger to that rejection is the word "Arabia". If it had been said that Yoruba came from Rome, it would not have been a problem at all. Any East is acceptable to them as truthful, however absurd the supporting storyline is, as long Yoruba is not in anyway connected to Arabia, even though every element and aspect of Ancient Yoruba matches to Arabia and the customary guild historians tell us so in their oral recount.

Sensing that resentment, Chinua Achebe, who schooled in Ibadan and familiar with story of Moremi and the Ugbos was the first to attempt a revision and claimed that both the East and the Ugbo referred in Ife history is Iboland and that the name Ibo is actually wrong, his people should hencefort be called Igbo.

Next Bini jumped in and connected the story of Ekaladheran which had long ago been used as a smokescreen to aid acceptance of Eweka, and concluded that Yoruba East is Edoland, not Arabia.

Yoruba historians did not discredit nor counter claim and kill off the Bini blasphemy...it played fittingly into their wish to steer our history away from Mecca.
PoliticsRe: Yemi Osinbajo Receives Ambassador Of Israel (Photos) by MayorofLagos(m): 1:08am On May 09, 2017
I continue to hammer on this issue for past two years. God forbid if Buhari passes, that the Northerners will agree to submit to Osinbajo leadership.

Osinbajo is not sorrounded with class and authority, at all!

Presidency comes with tradition and culture and in Nigeria Yoruba are the fashionistas, we command couture taste. In traditional Yoruba culture Osinbajo is not dressed formally in this picture. This appearance diminishes the grandeur that should naturally associatr with his office and role.

Imagine the VP of a western country coming out in ordinary shirt and tie, no suit...and does that everyday and wherever he goes and regardless of the occassion. The equivalent of that image is what Osinbajo does when he comes out in this taxi driver attire.

Now, who is that guy behind him in blue kaftan? It just gets worse!! In his case picture President of Nigeria visiting the West and the assistant to their President appears in the office with just shirt, no tie, no suit. Thats what we have here. Na.k.ed!! No style, just dry!

Very irritating! Tasteless, classless, devoid of any appeal...just dry! angry
