Good morning guys,

Please is there a WhatsApp group for Nigerians in Ontario?

Someone should kindly assist. I’m due to come in this week.

You do know Ontario is a province.

You should be asking for the WhatsApp group for the particular city you are going to.

Okay. I am a bit confused because i read somewhere that it may be a 10 year multiple entry visa but with no longer than 6 months of stay per time of visit

Emphasis on the MAY.

Hi Everyone, I'd appreciate any help i can get with my question below:

What's the duration of stay put on a visiting visa for a parent of a PR?? 6 months? or more ..its not a supervisa just a standard temporary visa.

Thanks smiley

The period of stay is not fixed.

They can give the person 2months or 2 years visa but it won’t exceed your passport validity.

As per how long you can stay for each visit depends on the cbsa officer you meet upon landing.

If no date is printed on your passport (or no visitor record was given), then the person can stay six months. However, if a date was placed on the passport (or visitor record was given), the person cannot stay beyond the date.

A Nigerian was seen earlier today shivering from and complaining about the ice formed on the ground in the UK, as she expresses her disappointment at the Nigerian government and blaming them for her relocation to a country with such extreme harsh weather condition.

Please watch to see her displeasure at the govt.

Hi everyone,

Please I want to apply for Express entry via pnp on clegc-gckey.gc.ca portal but I keep getting “we are experiencing technical difficulties error immediately I key in my username and password, please is it what others are experiencing?

Note: im applying for PNP as age is not much on my side, I’m in my mid thirties, I have M.SC and Years of work experience with multi national companies, I have got my Wes evaluated report and IELTS result.

None of these things you mentioned has anything to do with the webpage not being available.

Try again some other time.

Go to their Twitter page, they usually post update about the availability of the cic platform.

Do not underestimate Facebook marketplace and kijiji. We bought most of our neatly used furniture from there when we first landed. They were affordable, sturdy and served us well! New sturdy furniture will be pricey.

We bought smaller items (kitchenware) from dollarama and value village. Then a few items (blender, microwave, electric kettle etc) from Walmart.

This… exactly this.

Hopefully OP doesn’t do shakara lol.

Good day

Please for those familiar with colleagues in Ontario, is Cambrian College okay?

I ask because I hardly see people apply there.

Any information will be appreciated

You will not get answer about this here.

Go check college review sites.

Sorry i did not apply for the job myself. All my details are with the agency. But I know I had a biometric appointment letter and instruction letter which I used to go to the embassy. My sister is the one doing it for me with her boss. She works with her bosses agency. Everything is controlled by her boss. I just don’t want to complain because I don’t want to believe I’ve been scammed.

You just might have been scammed.

Ask your sister for update.

I think I’d investigate this. But by the way. After the biometrics what next? Because it’s one year already and nothing yet.

I asked you these questions earlier..

Na wa.
Did you apply to the job yourself or it’s through the agency?

When you applied for the visa, did you receive an application number?

Please house help me. I need clarifications. I applied for a Temporary Foreign Work permit since January 2021. Though I used a trusted agency.

Around April I Flew from Portharcourt to Abuja for medicals because my name was in the appointment list when I got there. That’s IOM Abuja office.

I returned to portharcourt after the medicals and my medical result was sent to the Canadian immigration for documentation.

2 weeks later I got a job offer from Canada which I signed and sent through courier service to my employer.

October 28th same 2021 I returned to Abuja for my biometrics. At November 1 I submitted all my documents including my biometric letter of appointment and instruction letter. The biometrics was successful and I returned to portharcourt again. Although when I got back on the 14th of December I was congratulated by the VFS office where I did the biometrics that my biometrics was successful and has been submitted to the Canadian immigration that I should be very patient at this moment because they are not the ones to decide to give me the work permit or visa.

It’s a year now. I’ve not heard anything. Today is 23rd November 2022.

Please is there still possibility that it’s gonna work for me? I’ve waited too long. It is it how it works?

Please I need reply of who has succeeded to give me hope. Thanks.

You want help but you are giving us incomplete information.

Agency no get name, employer no get name.
Hopefully the money you paid agent no plenty.

I have read a lot about this pathway and found someone that wants to help me work it all out but I feel I've not found all the info I need so I need info from people that chose this pathway and how it has been for them.

My questions are:

- What is the maximum work permit duration for this pathway?
- Can one transition from TFWP to PR?
- Can a TFWP holder change jobs if he/she wants?
- Can a TFWP holder also study while in Canada?
- Which city is best for this Pathway?
- Hows life like as a TFWP holder?

Pardon me if my questions much but I need to understand all these before making my decision. Thanks

What pathway?

Moreover if you found someone that wants to help you, don’t you think they will have the answers to your questions?

Abroad people: will you relocate back home if given $40k?

Home guys: $40k to stay in Naija OR $1k to enter any country of your choice without papers. Pick one

If you think people still leave Nigeria because of only money, then you need to have a rethink.

What good is $40k to a dead person?

IRCC will decide that.

People sometimes think IRCC cares about their travel dates.

Until you have a visa, you no get travel date.

I broke up with this lady two years ago and forgot about her.. Since then she has never crossed my mind as anything important.

Last two weeks i saw a message popped up my WhatsApp from a new number, i replied and we started chatting. She has sent me "I miss you" and "I still love you" several times.

This girl said she wants us to get back together and her pushing me to get back to her is frustrating me.

How do I avoid this lady without hurting her?

“Thank you for showing interest in me, however, I must reject your proposal. I no longer have feelings for you. If you continue on this path of pressure, I will have no option than to block you.
Peace”

You do not have a visa, your travel date is irrelevant.

When the visa is ready, you can leave whenever you want.
