My sister is over there so I guess I can apply since I qualify under extended family member but my question is that if I apply with my kids, will it work too. They are minors.

According to cic, you qualify as extended family not your kids whether they are minor or not.

Moreover, you guys can apply using the regular route even the extended family thing is not a right but a privilege and you can be denied too.

Please how did your cousin qualify for family exemption because my cousin sent me a an invitation too. I have applied since April 2021 and what steps did he takes to get his Visa approved because my traveling date suppose be 30th of this month September. Help a brother here.

Op’s cousin most likely qualify under the extended family option. The cousin might have a sibling that lives in Canada.

Your cousin is not your extended family as per IRCC definition of extended family, so you would have to wait like every other person.

So you know, IRCC don’t really care about travel dates. They give visas when they feel your application is right.

Hope for the best!

Help! My cousin recently got his visa to Canada based on the family exemptions. It is urgent that he travels this September, but he he isn't fully vaccinated yet, he has only had the first dose. Is there any way he can travel without being fully vaccinated? Is there a way to get the "vaccine card" in lagos just for the trip/

He can travel.

My mum recently came; when she left Nigeria she did not even get a single dose. But she had to do the full quarantine.

Since he is not fully vaccinated, he has to do the full quarantine and covid test on arrival.

He should check the cic travel guide for more information.

How true is this, does it mean new visitors app will be attended to on time ?

https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/coronavirus-covid19/visitors/visa.html

Only if you are visiting for reasons listed there.

If it is for any other reason, you will wait

Hi, how sure are you about this? do you know anyone who did this?

6 months passport validity are usually for visa issuance.

I assume as a PR you have your PR card.

So all you need is a valid passport.

Please i need your opinion. My passport would expire in February 2022, but i intend to travel to Nigeria from Canada in December. I know going to Nigeria won’t be a problem but I don’t know about coming back in to canada. I wanted to renew in Ottawa but seems the calendar is booked up, and i don’t know if it would be possible to get my passport on time if I choose to renew back home. Can i enter canada with less than six months? I am a permanent resident

Yes, as long as your passport is valid as at when you enter.

Hello
How were you able to open it here in Nigeria, I have followed the link you posted for national bank and like someone wrote up there they request for TIN, what is that and how did you provide it?
Also, were you able to just transfer funds from your naira account to the Canadian own before you left Nigeria?

TIN is your tax identification number, ( This wasn’t a requirement when I opened), but I think you should be able to get it.

When the account is opened, a welcome letter and instructions on how to wire your funds will be sent to you.

Please I applied for Visitor's visa and sent the web form to prioritize my application. I got this request letter and my status has been showing pending. I am confused as to what exactly the request is as the letter is unclear

Are you an immediate family member?

If yes, is the person you are visiting a PR/Citizen or a temporary resident?

What did you send to them as document for priotization?

There's no amount of love that will permit me to marry a woman that is 2-hours older than me. Women naturally grow older and weaker at a higher pace than men. Marrying someone older, as time goes on she might be mistaken for your mother. My future wife must be at least 10 years younger so that when I'll be 90, she'll be at most 70
Except for green card.
#bantilosha

Yea, of course the typical hypocrisy—- except for green card , you will marry someone older than you.

Yet a woman should marry a guy older than her?

This line of thought or perspective (like you said) is limiting; the earlier you change this thought process, the better for you.

Because a lot of our meat forms aren't available here: Kilishi, suya, tiko etc. Let's not even talk about taste difference between Canadian goat and naija goat, e be like say their goat na only pet fit dem lol.

Also people bring food to tide them over before they start earning in dollars. Converting naira to buy food in your first month is not easy at all and meat is expensive so if it was allowed, it's the kind of thing I'll advice someone to bring.

Hahahahahaha… true sha.

But dem go seize the meat
