delors: You see your life? After 21 years ofMe sef I tire ooo... Maybe that is the cause of his frustration. A job where staff welfare is zero and no motivation whatsoever. |
PrettyGaby: send her packing? ur brother shld be the one to take that decisin, not u. and secondly, he better have been faithful since he married b4 talking about divorcing her. lastly, i fear pastors and rev. frs. choi!Ok |
Rukemi291: I am sorry to say this o, but poster, like seriously, why are u so concerned about chasing the wife away? Why dont you leave ur brother to make his decision on the matter? It is no the wife of brother in UK. The husband is home but goes to work every morning. |
@bookface I asked for assistance not insults. If you know better you should not have quoted it. Can you please edit your post and remove the attachment. Yungwizzzy: you already made your decision with your last statement. reason you are posting this is just to ridicule your brother and his family. don't be surprise when you start seeing this story on blogs and pages of newspapers@ Yungwizzzy Why do you think I want to ridicule my brother in a grave matter like this. I stated what we want but don't know how to go about it, because it is only my brother who have the right to dismiss his wife. If we try to do it by force it might backfire. |
Below is the interpretation of the DNA test result we received two days ago. Interpretation:My brother’s wife has been having clandestine meeting with their church (unmarried) Pastor for some time. Often times, when my brother has gone to work, she will cook food and send his children to go and give to the pastor. Sometimes she takes the food by herself. People around has been noticing it. Last year, she took-in and was delivered of a baby boy who is very very fair in completion just like the pastor. Nobody in our family is that fair. People began to rumour that that must be the Pastors child. The thing has been circulating around the village that it became disturbing. When my eldest brother came back from UK, everywhere he entered they teased him with the gist. We decided that we will confront her, but then it was suggested that we perform this DNA test secretly first to confirm before accusing her. The husband has been in the picture but could not believe that his wife could be that bad. According to him, He has queried his wife over this matter and she has denied having anything with the pastor other than prayers. So when it became a matter of family disgrace, the husband has to accept the secret DNA and offered to supply his own specimen. The test cost about N150,000 and was funded by my brother from UK. The wife is not aware of the test. The baby's sample was taken in her absence. Now the result says, my brother is not the father. My brother has not been communicated of the result yet. I was discussing it with my other brother in UK. We are both confused of how to execute this judgement. Our concerns are; 1. What will be the reaction of our brother (The Husband ) He is the key to sending the woman away. What if he refuses? 2. The woman already has three children (two boys and a girl) before this one. The oldest is about 15 years old. 3. We want this woman to be sent back to her family, because she is a disgrace to to the family. We do not want the villages to know just yet. 4. We want to punish the Pastor, we want to punish him well, what are the legal implications. Can we arrest him for violating our wife. Dear Nairalander, what is possible and what is not. Please I need your help and I need it now. This woman must go. |

While you play possessive football, dont forget that it is goals that win matches. We dont want to hear story. |
Kalu stop deceiving poor ones like us who are trying to start a business. How can you make that kind of money from carrying fish from north to east and palm oil to the north. If you want to help your bros, tell us how you made the millions. If you can't, then one thing is certain, it is an illegal wealth you got. Made either from oil bonkering , 419 or rituals. |
it is well with him. Glory be to God. |
what is happening. Is it better now to remove the subsidy completely. maybe that is what it is tending to. |
That means the other woman don lose out completly. Congrats!!! YOU WIN. |
How I wish he could get a miracle right now. God let your will be done. It is not easy to die, especially when you know it is coming. May the good Lord give him the courage to live out his remaining days in peace. Amen. |

Any airline is a risk. In overseas the standard may be high compared to Nigeria, where people like to cut conners. However, there is no commercial airline that is risk free. Just pray that you are not there when it happens. |
solo.j:IF IT IS ABOUT THE MONEY, I THINK IT IS TOO MUCH FOR 2 MONTHS, IT IS RUBBRY. ANYWAY PRIVATE UNIVERSITIES CHARGE WHAT THEY LIKE |
@poster I feel ur pain. I would hv said all u need to hear, but the university certificate will say ....having certified the requirments for the award of ...... IF that certification is part of the requirments and ur sis knew that b/4 now, she should have taken it seriously. U know as much as I do that nothing said on this forum wil make the school change their policy. When ur sis registred she agreed with the terms and conditions so let her not wast any more time, advise her to go back there ASAP |
If you need to come back to Nigeria for your youth corp and for Law school, you are welcome. You will enjoy it here. May I know have come back to do the the youth service program here. It is a very nice experience. If I had my way, with better pay I would want to do youth service again. If you have a job offer in Nigeria, or you know you can do good business here, do well to come. The environment here (except for electricity) is business friendly, no much tax and bills. If you want to practice law you can do better in UK. It will take you a longer time to establish yourself. |
I guess technology is highly dynamic. Most often, the new one is an improvement on the old. New Nairaland I believe will be better than the old one. Unless we are saying that Seun is not in tune with technology. Every product imaginable has update. why do we complain. Like it or love it, there is bound to be change, if not now, certainly later. |
Please doc, tanks for your replies, may you be blessed as you have been a source of blessing to others. Doc, I have a friend who is a PLWHA, she has been managing herself well all these years. But the major challenge she is facing now is that she is having fibroid and I guess a very big one judging from the size of her tummy. she was admitted to hospital for more than two months without any significant improvement, the hospital maintained that she can not be operated on due to the fact that her 'CD4' count is low, right now she is in a wheel chair since she can not even walk due to the pain and her feet just swell up lately. Please I need your advise asap to save her, which hospital could be the best to handle this situation here in Nigeria? the family took her home when they realized that the hospital was not giving them the urgent attention that is required. Again, which drugs or food supplements would be best to boost her immune system quickly so that she could be fit to undergo the surgery? Pls I am looking forward to getting your reply. Thanks. |

"I am Happy Ojukwu died a Nigerian" was a popular quote from Gowon. I want Nairalanders to help me ask Gowon if he is enjoying The NIGERIA he canvassed for now. The amalgamation of 1914 is stil haunting Nigeria. Those who kill for fun do not deserve to share a common identity with those who cherish peace and d sanctity of human lives! |
MY WIFE IS GOOD EXCEPT THAT SHE HAS FORMED THE HABIT OF WATCHING TELEVISION SERIES EVERYDAY ON STV2 FROM 9PM TO 11PM. Sometimes she moves into Home Video and stays till 12pm or longer before joining me on bed. My annoyance is that whenever she settles to watch these episodes every other thing that needs her attention in the house suffers. She sleeps off as soon as she lies down. She barely wakes on time to prepare for work in the morning. When I confront her she argues that it is only two hours that she uses to enjoy herself after working for the whole day. I told her I like watching football and News, but I am not addicted to them like she is addicted to this Television series. Sometimes I come in from work, say around 8pm, she will quickly serve my food and disappears into the pallor, she doesn't care if I ate or not. I have been pleading with her not to make it a do or die affair but she would not listen. If I am the type that beats, I would have smacked her face a number of times. I didn't say she should not watch, but it should not be everyday. She wouldn't want to miss any episode. She doesn't care how much fuel she burns watching with Generator. WHAT DO I DO TO STOP MY WIFE FROM THIS HABIT WITHOUT PUTTING AN UNNECESSARY STRAIN IN OUR MARRIAGE. HELP |
What happens to the pot belle boys called "Dream Team 5" aren't they quitting too. Agreed that Eguavoen failed, it is the boys who had opportunity to do us proud that disappointed us the most. Life is not jut fair. I understand that the coach takes the bulk of the blame when his team fails to win, I am saying "Is it fair to put all the blame on him". |
