The points I made and the points Audu Ogbeh made are very simple and clear for any person with the most basic education to understand; it is bot rocket science and at least, I believe we all did a little of agric science in high school. There are several things to gain from the initiative which includes a boost in beef and milk production and in addition, with the plan to have cattle restricted to the grass reserves, cattle herders wouldnt have to move their cows around in search of pasture and this would help avoid the recurrent clashes between the herdsmen and farmers. What on earth is so difficult to underatand in this most basic explanation?

Now the real reason why Nigeria isnt moving forward is because of people that you who have instead of applying some common sense and focus to discern a very simple initiative like this, you have emotionally chosen to only view and judge everything in this life from the microscopic prism of political/ethnic/tribal/religious sentiments. That is the exact reason the black man is backwards and that is the exact reason the older generation has refused to relinquish power to the youths; the youths exemplified by your manner of reasoning have clearly not shown any sigm that we are ready to take over.... we choose to dwell purely on emotions and refuse to use our God given intellects.

So what mechanism do they have on ground for cow milk processing. It is a move on the right direction for Nigeria govt to establish and sustain processing of cow milk from Nigerian cows for consumption but that is not what we need fight now, there are other pressing issues directly affecting the daily lives of Nigerians which need to be addressed urgently. Nigerians are suffering, there has been serious fuel scarcity in Nigeria since last month, so much queues in filli g stations and our minister for Petroleum said publicly he can't do anything that he's not a magician. Is this govt? You said PDP spoilt Nigeria for 16yrs and I ask you, what exactly did they spoil, what exactly is working in Nigeria today that did not work better during PDP's Administration. PDP left over 4000mw in power, today we're trying to even get 2000MW. This govt is causing hardship to the masses and the worst is the so called President do not care. He keeps deceiving gullible Nigerians with fight against corruption meanwhile this govt is the most corrupt so far in the history of Nigerian democracy. Any govt that builds on lies and propaganda is corrupt. Any govt who does not obey court orders is corrupt. Any govt who violates human right is corrupt. The latest and most shameful one is the $200b saga which the EFCC said Nigerian past leaders dumped in Dubai banks and bought houses in Dubai with it. UAE came out publicly to deny that saying total foreign cash and investment in Dubai is not mode that $108b. So how come only Nigerians stashed $200b to Dubai? No govt can succeed with lies and propaganda which is what PMB's govt is doing. The rate of increase in inflation over d past few months have never been recorded since 1999 and u said PDP spoilt Nigeria. When this govt came into powerin may 2015, the rehabilitation work on our refiniries were almost completed and as at Nov/Dec Kaduna refiniry started operation with that of Warri. Are they working today? The last PDP govt introduced TSA, BVN, reduced ghost workers, build almajiri schools, built and commission universities nationwide, what has this govt achieved. Forex is scarce because of bad policy by CBN. People can't pay their children's school fees abroad, manufactures can no longer import materials for their factory, thousands of jobs are lost everyday, economy is stand still and all you can focus on is to import grasses for cows so dat we can start processing milk and increase meat production. Give me one reason why the govt is not clueless.

The more Dolars we earn, the more buoyant our own currency.

On BDC,
Some Directors of CBN have opened "BDC Shop" where they channel the Dollars Nigeria earns from sale of Crude, at OFFICIAL RATE.
They then sell this at the Black market rate, making a fortune!
This is why Govt said you cant take Dollars from us at #199.... and then go to sell at #400 to the Public! Source your Dollars yourself, if all you want to be doing is "rent-taking".
Even their "deposit" has been returned to them, as of today.

Even Banks that get forex from the CBN at #199, have been diverting such Dollars to those BDC Mallams, to sell at #400!..... and share the profit between themselves.

There are too many Criminals in this country and "Democracy" seems too lenient if not incapable, of dealing with them!

He called BDCs thieves and fraudsters and directed CBN to stop selling dollars to them that is why we have fake free fall of Naira thereby causing hardship to the massess. According to them, selling forex to BDCs depletes Nigeria's forex reserve. CBN released news that they will start selling dollars again to BDCs @ $400,000 every week because they have seen the impact of removing them from business coupled with what Ifeanyi Uba said and the naira started appreciating immediately.
So if Bubu is not clueless he will know that BDCs play very vital role in Nigerian economy in terms of foreign exchange.
In a week, a commercial bank can have forex demand from it's customers of about $90m to $500m, since CBN does not sell enough forex to commercial banks, they use BDCs to meet their customers demands for forex.

As I said, it's about supply. Where is Ubah going to get his dollars from? Clearly not from CBN. If he already had his sources, he should flood the market already with his dollars and make a killing from it.

I don't want to believe you are being naive here. For the $1 to N1 issue, sorry Buhari brought it up during their campaign in Owerri.

For the excess crude account, why did governors insist that it must be shared and what did they do with theirs as well.

For what Uba said, don't think he does not have a blue print of what to do before coming to a national TV to say such. Uba is a business man and might know what to do to salvage the situation. BDC operators were many I agree but their business were surviving at the mercy of CBN. They use to get forex at subsidised rate from CBN and had no other means of getting forex. If travelex and two or more firms like them starts operation in Nigeria supply of dollars will be equal or even more than demand and you'll see naira going back to N180.
Forget about where Ifeanyi Uba will get his foreing exchange, and know he can't just start throwing dollars here and there. He must get approval from the authorities and must follow due process too. Let them give him the chance to save our economy.
