We hav a trio of good attackin midfielders comin thru in pogba, cleverly and elkrem I just wish fergie gives dem chances dis season just look at wilsheare at arsenal imagine if rafael and fabio were arsenal players dey will be starters by nw bcause wenger would be playin dem regurlary
that is a fallacy.
how many games has Gibbs played? irrespective of the fact that Clichey is no where as good as Patrice.
Wilshere has barely plaed as much as Rafael did last year.
The greatest window for talented young players is injury to more established players.
Wilshere is playing more because of Fabregas permanently crocked hamstring.

Politics › Former Ig Okiro For Senate by mbulela(op): 3:20pm On Sep 24, 2010
62-year-old retired former Inspector-general of Police, Mike Okiro, yesterday publicly declared his intention to run for the sole senatorial seat in the Federal Capital Territory. He announced that he will contest on the platform of the People's Democratic Party (PDP).
Politics › Re: Utomi Joins Presidential Race by mbulela: 3:12pm On Sep 24, 2010
mikeansy:
My anger with folks like Pat Utomi and Wole Soyinka and their likes is their inability to join forces and converge in a party like Labour Party. Make it an issue-based bottom-up party.

The reason PDP will remain the failure that it is is because they simply have no reason to change. They are still winning and sharing Naija money. PDP will never change out of goodwill.

Untill their is an alternative organised platform where folks show Nigerian people what multi-party politics is all about and what PDP have been failing to do. PDP will continue to have no reason to change because they are simply at no risk of loosing.

The issue of changing Nigeria is bigger than anyy one man's ego. Why folks like Pat Utomi, Soyinka, Duke, Ribadu, El-Rufai can not join forces under one party, encourage Nigerians to come forward and help them select the party flag bearer. When a party flag bearer is chosen all others simply support whoever is chosen and also support the party manefesto and ideology.

Its annoying at times, and sometimes I feel like asking them to stop wasting our time.
you have made a salient point that would seem prophetic in the very near future.
I have come to believe that the change we need would never be voluntary.
The only people who will save us from a violent bloody revolution are the kind of men you mentioned above.
If they refuse to come together and present a common front to fight the common enemy, then the ticking time bomb would only tick faster and will explode sooner rather than later.
painfully, these men prefer to massage their egos in mushroom and inconsequential parties that would never make a difference while the barbarians capture and gouge the centre stage.
what stops the likes of Buhari, Ribadu, Soyinka, Agbakoba, Falana, Sani and even Fashola presenting a common front?
I believe in miracles but nothing on the ground makes me expect a different outcome in the next few months.
The barbarians will return to power and continue awarding more contracts of billions for the purchase of bins and maybe air freshener.

Politics › Re: Fec Approves N927m ($6.5m) For Fct Waste Bins by mbulela: 11:18pm On Sep 23, 2010
mikeansy:
Waste Bins are one of the easiest things to mould in an Injection Moulding machine.

They are straight hollow profiles, blind at one end, with a lip around where you design a hinge for the lid.

If we can not find a manufacturer that can mould such bins in Nigeria then we are in serious problem and it is a clear proof that the whole noise by the Jonathan Government about Industrialization is mere sloganeering.

Materials like Polyproplene that could be suitable for manufacture of those waste bins are actually one of the by-products of refined crude!!!!!!!!

Who will patronise our local manufacturers then when our Federal Government imports waste bins!!!!!!!!

We simply have no politicians in Nigeria, this project would have been a symbol of laziness of the Jonathan Government.
wait until they add it as one of the dividends of the angelic and God-ordained presidency of GEJ.
I am not too worried about GEJ winning this coming election.
What i am worried about is the expectation that the coming dispensation would be anything different from the past.
It would be more of the same.
When we think it can not get worse, these charlatans and barbarians go and better their records.
How does Dora Akunyili sleep at night after announcing these sort of crazy concepts and ideas to the public?
Do these folks have consciences left?
Do they fear God?
After spending millions of pounds buying bins, we will soon return overseas to borrow some more while our foreign reserves are evaporating fast like a methylated spirit.

Dude, you have a way of arguing emptily these days. If you have the "real" history, spill it or shut it.
I just saw Debosky comments after posting.
Bayelsa State did not begin to enjoy electricity in 1996.
That is not true.
As a matter of fact, the light in Bayelsa was more stable than most parts of the country before 1996.
While comparing Kwara and Bayelsa, remember to compare the federal allocations to both states since 1996.

If the above is what you base your decision on, it is really unfortunate. Bayelsa state was created on 1 October 1996 out of what might best be termed swamp land (no disrespect intended). Kwara state on the other hand was created on 27 May 1967. Bright minds will notice the huge disparity in age of both states.

Do you know that Bayelsa was so neglected that it only began to enjoy electricity in 1996? That was the year the Federal govt deemed it fit to accept that state as belonging in Nigeria (despite churning out vast amounts of oil) for the country.

this guy is one of the fakest assholes you will ever come across in life, completely and utterly full of sh.it, a compulsive liar and has no conscience, I dont know whether its to do with the way he was brought up but he is very cold and calculating.   Look at the bullshit he is spouting about his brother Justin,  he was not on speaking terms with his brother until the poor guy committed suicide.  Prior to that period Fashanu made a very nasty statement about the fact that he was gay and therefore wanted nothign to do with him. It was only after Justin's death that whatever is left of his conscience kicked in.

He will do anything for money, he uses and dumps people and has done that all throughout his life - is it the matchfixing, or is it the fake charities that he runs on behalf of african orphans where it was discovered that all the money that he was collecting was going straight into his bank account.

This guy is to be avoided at all costs.

Also he is very sometimeish about being a nigerian - his mantra is "I am a nigerian only when it suits me or only where money is to be made" -

All that crap  he told sun news reporters is a pack of lies.

On Wes, you need to be reminded that Sir Alex once said that he is the most naturally talented defender in the club in recent years.
JOS is playing because Sir Alex has unresolved issues with Rafael and Wes has been crocked.
If Wes remains fit for another three weeks, JOS will be out of the team.

O'Shea is a squad player and you always need sqaud players no matter what.
He's the kinda player that wont moan if he doesn't get regular first team football.
United fans by now should already know what they will get from O'Shea and not expect too much.

Another thing is - O'Shea's versatility is unquestionable.
He can play anywhere across the back four and in midfield - heck, he can even play in goal. grin grin
To me, he's an invaluable member of the squad that just gets on with his job.
People shouldn't expect too much from him.
