Whynotthetruth:
Sometimes when we run our mouth, we fail to realise how myopic we are...
Which is more important, is it to develop your state and always remain in good book of your people and history OR to run around crazily for powerhuh

Not all are desperate for power like Rochas cool
I see your point but how does joining PDP help develop the state further?

Next, the roles he played and the press releases he made against Buhari pencils him down among those to be hunted
This assumption that Buhari is coming on a hunting spree is childish. The problems of this country are too enormous to be mixed with hunting clowns like Obi.

I agree with you that Obi is on a losing mission. He has no electoral power, so soon these senators will no longer be loyal to him and he has nothing with which to hold them back. Besides it will be easier for the people's feel the impact of the state government than senators who have limited direct influence on local development.
Obiano has all the aces at present.

I be mrs cynical for my church but I am seriously going to be rolling my eyes at all the 'bragging' that I will be expecting in church tomorrow lipsrsealed Some people won't see it as the vote pulling tactic that it is. To them it's the 'status' RCCG has as the most influential black church in the world.Like God recognises the status of your church in your Christian walk undecided

Me and my pastor don fight taya sef on my 'irregular' attendance of FOL. grin

The Lib Dems are still getting my vote.

I paid 14K for the premium package on thursday morning, a marked deviation from the usual 11650, and I didn't find it funny at all.

I can't do without my SS3, otherwise I'd have had a change of plan.

Something, someone, our government has got to do something and quickly too about this South-African company exploiting ordinary Nigerians and smiling to the bank with millions of our 'HARD EARNED' naira!!!
They are equally exploiting their own people. Their people are complaining like us too.
The issue is that as long as the rights for major stuff like epl and laliga are sold to one organisation, this will continue.Dstv has the rights to epl in Africa. Even after they broke naija away from the rest, they still won the bids for both. The greed of Dstv is understandable in the face of monopoly. the greed of the right owners for these sports competitions is what is more worrying.
When a local had the chance of breaking their monopoly, he messed up.

Instead of them to make demands of the incoming FCT minister that will drive their businesses forward, they are busy asking for another incompetent ethnic fellow.
The ethnic jingosim in this country disgusts me.
Buhari can appoint all northerners as ministers as long as they deliver i could not care less.
Do you think bad road discriminates based on tribe?
Do you think nepa load shedding respects state of origin?
Do you think the enugu-onitsha expressway respects the geo-political region of the minister of works?
The accidents in Benin -Ore-East-west road does not care where you come from.

If you watch it is these clowns are related to the retards who were cheering the Oba of Lagos while he was spewing trash.
These ethnic jingoists should get out of here and stop embarrassing my igbo heritage.

First of all who will do the probing? Unless Buhari and Osinbajo are willing to form a two man panel, that probe is dead on arrival.

His intelligence makes him hard to ignore.
However, he really needs to tone it down. Slow to speak, slow to anger and quick to listen.

On another note, i don't want to read the book (i bought a copy and sent to my brother from another mother) as i suspect it might diminish my respect for the fella. I hear he painted himself as a saint in the book. I do not fall for such.

We are yet to see the end to this oil war. Tinubu and Buhari will find it very tough this time around to share oil blocks to themselves and their cronies. I reside in a Rivers state and voted for Wike, no regrets at all. The Niger Delta people are wiser now and knows who their real enemies are. The shout of one Nigeria is just a joke. It is a sham meant to enslave a group to the advantage of a majority. Rivers people now know better.
Tinubu should leave Rivers state alone and focus on Lagos and the north. No oil for him.
Sometimes I struggle to understand the noise Niger delta folks make. Your son was at the top for 6 years and did utterly nothing for you. I mean nothing.
In six years he could not sort out the east what road, it is still a work in progress. Could not transform Bayelsa.
The patience that has become the ruler and emperor of Rivers state, what developmental project did she bring to the place.
All they did besides stuffing their bloated stomachs with stolen wealth was to empower a few scoundrels with same stolen wealth via dubious means.
The shout of Niger delta is a joke among the elite and they are dividing the masses with their deceit.

Let them leave Wike to govern in peace and let the people of Rivers be the ones to decide whether they made the right decision or not as 4yrs is just 48months and not eternity! l foresee Wike having issues with PEJ along the way, as PEJ will no longer have any federal might to continue to have him under his control quote me.
Gbam!!
Instead of all this long grammar, Amaechi should spend his time and energy trying to build a political structure which he truly lacks. Rivers politics is not ideology based nor is it won on the pages of newspaper. Unfortunately, it is rules by structures. Something Amaechi lacks. Besides, can you imagine that March salaries are still not paid as we speak?
Let rivers people enjoy the wrecking ball that is wike
After a year, we will count the miles.

My brother, I have no kind words for Ribadu. He has massively disappointed me and others who believed in him. Haven said that, I think Ribadu remains a good, kind and benevolent man who will always be on the side of what is best for Nigeria and Nigerians. Ribadu's main shortcoming is that he is actually a good administrator yet a terrible politician incapable of understanding the nuances of Nigerian politics.

I doubt Buhari would be interested in working with Ribadu but I think the former EFCC boss would still excel in any role that correctly matches the right public position with his specific talents and limitations. Overall, I have no regret supporting Ribadu in the past even though I am disappointed with some of the political choices he made. It is to Ribadu's credit , and another indicator of his decency, that he refrained from the mudslinging and divisiveness virtually all PDP political aspirants engaged in merely for the sake of winning elections.
Just like Naijababe's love for Nuhu, I genuinely like him. I met him once from afar (at a burial) and there were a few things about him that touched me in a special way. Unfortunately, I will be unable to state them here for private reasons. He is the kind of northerner that I love. The type that makes nonsense of the stereotype that ethnic jingoists project. Mallam has broken my heart. For a fellow who is cynical about politicians, it takes a lot to do that.
On another note, I doubt he is a politician in the Nigerian sense.

I think Nuhu can still be useful.

Abati on the otherhand, offers nothing, not even to his own family.

Like they say, every dog has its day. Unfortunately, Abati is a rat.
You harsh o.
Wait until Abati writes a book of how all his efforts in govt were truncated by dark forces and gets re-assimilated into the club of "progressives".
Or if he happens to transit to higher glory (not that I am wishing him that, I need to make that point clear), then you will hear eulogies that will make Christ Himself envious.

Funny enough, someone who claims to know Reuben closely claims he has always been like this from the beginning. Just that he did not have the opportunity to manifest.
I laugh remembering when he used to yarn dust with men of sincere intent like Pat Utomi.
With all his intellect, Utomi must be feeling duped when he sees reruns of Patito gang.

Wike for sure.

But the worst thing is that Wike did not need to rig. He would have won in a free and fair election because he has the support. But instead, he chose to make mockery of the whole process.
