I searched United Nations website, no related information. Nothing on their News page, nothing on their in-depth focus page. Where is this information? I might have missed it but hopefully someone would find it, and it could be on a specific UN commission/committee website. Not reaching any conclusion, just verifying what I'm consuming.

OP, do you want to hear the truth? The truth about your post is that I didn't even understand the first paragraph of your write-up.

Having said that, me thinks basically that development is always elusive to any land or region where there is chaos, anarchy, civil unrests, violence, etc.

However, I want to believe what IPOB is fighting or agitating for is primarily EGALITARIANISM, EQUITY, FAIRNESS, AND JUSTICE. Seccessionism is secondary.

It is visible to the blind, and audible to the deaf that the South-East region of Nigeria is highly marginalized. They are not carried along in the scheme of things in this country. When there is an unwritten agreement that the position of the president of this country should be rotated among the geopolitical zones in the country or among the major ethnic nationalities and it gets to their turn to produce the president and you say they cannot be trusted with power. What do you call that? And you expect them to seat back, fold their arms, and watch it slide away. It's not done!

Besides, the Nigerian government has proven again and again that only the violent get the things they want in this country.

The unfortunate thing is that most of the Governors of the Southeast are not peoples choice.


We saw what happened in Imo State where Hausa-Fulani controlled federal government used federal power to remove people elected Governor Emeka Ihedioha and enthroned Hopeless Uzodinma in Imo State against the will of the people, so how do you expect these saboteur Governors to act in the interest of the people when they know that they dont need peoples vote to retain their seat, but only need to please Hausa-Fulani federal officials to help them retain their useless political positions in the Southeast.

What of other states under PDP and APGA?




These are part of the reasons the majority of Igbo youths want to leave Nigeria because Hausa-Fulani controlled federal government will always use their federal might to elevate and enthrone the most useless, the most corrupt Igbo politicians in Southeast in order to keep Southeast undeveloped and below par.




This has been the struggle of the Southeast since the end of the civil war in 1970 and reason the new generation youths are queuing behind Nnamdi Kanu and asking for complete separation from Nigeria
