Between Osinbajo and Tinubu, though no saint amongst the politicians, I'll prefer Tinubu over him due to a President that lack influence politically will rule with fear and favoritism which will affect effectiveness of his administration. |

What a confused group, they do not want to participate in election, yet they want to form a political party, go straight to your standing instead of playing mind game on politics.
If eventually they form a party, their already receded influence in Yoruba land will fully finish once that party failed to be popular in Nigeria. |

The writer made some viable points on how talent is not enough for longevity of success..
It is consistency of hard work that assist one's talent on the stage of fame to last longer..
While Mercy and CR7 being discipline on what they eat, drink and working hard daily for the maintenance of their talents..
Hazard and Neymar failed to be disciplined on what they consumes, they loss in merriment..
Laziness, they also failed in adding hard work with their talents which attributed to receding of their talents and fame..
Conclusively, writer thinks hard work and ability to manage success makes CR7 and Mercy to still relevant.
That Nigerian youths need to learn from factors behind Mercy and CR7 continuous success and that that causes down falling of Hazard and Nemar. |

Toks2008: You are so very wrong..he has distinguished himself in many ways. Unfortunately he can't do beyond his constituted jurisdiction.
But I believe he has a better chance than any other candidate.
As a Pastor, 80% of Christians will support and vote for him
As a Professor, 80% of academic and students will support and vote for him
As a Lawyer, 80% of lawyers will support and vote for him
As a loyal and dedicated Vice President to President Muhammadu Buhari, 80% of Buhari followers will support and vote for him
As an in-law to Obafemi Awolowo family, 80% of Yorubas will support and vote for him
As a Leader who initiated the various Social Investment Programmes of Buhari administration, 80% of the ordinary people of Nigeria will support and vote for him.
The South east and South South love him.
So, when they ask you what structures does Yemi Osinbajo have, tell them he has religious, academia, professional, political(Buhari), ethnic and people structures.
Pastor(Prof) Yemi Osinbajo SAN, is the incoming President of Nigeria by the grace of God.
Copied and modified I now noticed one of Osinbajo's agent on Nairaland, wonderful. Osinbajo's political sagacity can't confront his major challengers except if Buhari back him morally and financially. |

tonididdy: Oga The police, army, navy, airforce all answer the commander in chief ( a governor or a president).
So what gibberish rudiments are you on about? Sanwo olu said he, the IGP, the commissioner have all come to an understanding.... So why then should a mere police officer answer to a common lawyer more than the COC If truly the governor called those mentioned, why he went there to be making order again?, why he can't wait for the IG to instruct his officers to withdraw from Magodo Estates before going there? As an officer working under the directive of IG, he's not answerable to a governor, he's not working under NPF Lagos State Command that is partially answerable to a governor, FG power on maintenance of law and order above all federating States in Nigeria, Even if a state police eventually created, DSS and NIA will take over the works of NPF just like FBI and CIA operating in US. So governor should rather focus on 1999 constitutional amendment that will correct certain sections that turned them to toothless dogs in their various States. |

tonididdy: The issue at hand is not a case of the rule of law but the disrespect of the office of the LASG.
A simple order says call your superior... As a mere police officer you obey firstly before complain. Even if he has no contacts with the ogas at the top as he claims, he should at least call the one he reports to.
To have replied the governor in that manner was respectful with all the bowing of heads, humility and pleads but it was also disrespectful at the same time not to obey an order by the commander-in chief of a state. Just because you don't understand the rudiments of public service. |
