Idk but one is a junior minister while the other is the "substantial" minister. (maybe we call him, "minister of country") but as much as I am concerned the difference between both is just as significant as the P in psychology and in effect, an devised means for political settlement. |
...and we blame government for lack of electricity. Motivation here is the key and in this case, a two way thing. You give me enough electricity to make me willingly pay you on one hand and you pay me to give you enough electricity on the other hand. The question now is, who goes first? |
With our reliance on imported agro-products? Now that is practically impossible. it's a large dream for a consumer nation, that is not to say we can't do it(why not? We have the man power, natural resources and possibly the innate ability to develop needed technology) PS. Don't blame me if I yarn op, I didn't read the body of the topic. |
Someone should please bring back my girls. Boredom has made me make front page on every thread, no matter how irrelevant and useless. Now that's more boring. |
From my understanding of federalism, there exists units that make up the federation and in our case, the Federal, state and local government units. These units have arms of governments, have sources and means of generating incomes and can as well stand on their own in the true sense of the word. Looking at it from a realistic angle, apart from the financial sustainability, all local governments can and are seen to be autonomous and can be. But then finance is they key thing here- not all local government councils can stay independent of higher level governments, and so are some states. So, how do we solve this? Merge the local governments that aren't viable and states too. If we want a federation, there are lots and lots of truths we need to tell ourselves. We don't have need for all the states we have, we don't have need for "all" the local government and so forth. the opposition being posted by the state governments stems solely from the benefit they reap from the previous loopholes in the constitution. If they don't want autonomy, then let there be no allocations to the local government. I have yet to read the full content of the amendment, but so far they oppose it, it is bound to be something good. I vote a yes for LG autonomy. |
How does it matter? |
Toktee:aren't you confused? Toktee: Toktee:aren't you confused? Why would you ask a question when you know the answer already? Or must you create a thread? |

All this end time projects. A precursor to abandoned projects, as there are no guarantees that the succeeding government would pick up from where the predecessor left. #sitdown dey look na dog name -Ejiro 2012 it's a good thing the money was taken from the state's saving though. (T. A Orji, how much you save? ) |
MAN ARRESTED AFTER JUMPING WHITE HOUSE FENCE A Nigerian man based in Maryland, Dominic Adesanya, (pictured above) has been arrested after jumping the White House Fence. According to police reports, around 7.15pm yesterday Wednesday October 22nd, Adesanya, 23, climbed the fence on the North Lawn of the building and got about 20 yards past the fence before he was taken down by Secret Service and dogs. He's currently in police custody but is being treated in a hospital for injuries he sustained during the encounter. He was attacked by K.9 dogs. The White House was on a lock-down for about two hours after Adesanya jumped the fence. President Obama was said to be in the White House at the time of the incident. Police also said Adesanya was not armed...but he's still in big trouble. According to his Facebook profile, he attended Stevenson University for business administration and management and Hartford Community College for an associate of science, along with partially business administration and management. His father spoke with ABC 2 and said Adesanya had been arrested at the White House before and that the family had tried to get him help. His jump comes weeks after a similar incident happened, prompting the resignation of the director of Secret Service, Julia Pierson on October 1st. In September, a 42 year old man named Omar Gonzalez also jumped the fence and got in the East room before he was arrested. Guess there will be more copycats. The Secret Service need to pay more attention. Culled from Fox News.

I was secretly hoping he would decline to contest, but that hope is apparently far-fetched. Goodluck to him |

I read the article earlier and it does not in anyway concord with the headline. While in camp, I heard our meal was provided at the rate of 300 naira per day, maybe they are trying to increase it to 500 and it is apparently for the duration of the orientation course. However, I wish to be proved wrong. |
I doubt they were elected, otherwise they wouldn't have taken it this far, one more reason the local government should be saved from the stranglehold of state government. |
FlyboyZee:lol. |
