my wife of course, unless I have a reason she would want me dead to claim my wealth. None of my siblings would have to be dependent if I am wealthy,I'd certainly set them all up.
FamilyRe: SUICIDE My NEXT OPTION If This Fails Too!!! by mcdokwe(m): 11:20pm On Nov 09, 2014
MsJessica:
Hello Nairalanders', I'm in dire need of your help. I'm a graduate of Philosophy, with 2.1. I finished nysc some years back and have been looking for a job ever since, all to no avail. I struggled to see myself through school with hope of a better future, but that dream gets blurred each passing second as a result of my unemployment for whole two years after nysc.

I have applied for thousands of jobs, both online and offline all to no avail, I have prayed, fasted, went for counseling, contacted some men of God to pray for me, yet no results. To say I'm so depressed will be an understatement. Crying my heart and eyes out has been my food. I don't know what else to do, I have no one else to turn to for help. I have made up my mind that if this my plea for help here in Nairaland fails too, then I will be left with no choice than to just END my life, since there is nothing worth living for anymore.

The unfortunate thing is that some of the people willing to offer me a job, promised to do so with the condition that I bed them. But since I'm not willing to do so (compromise /sell my body) they all bail out. Sometimes I feel so sorry for the plight of we the female youths, especially those still in the labour market.

I'm tired of this life and more importantly tired of being idle and unemployed. I decided to go into farming. I have made the feasibility study etc. But my problem now is the start up capital (500,000 naira). I have approached many uncles, aunties and friends for help but the answers I've been getting so far are come today, come tomorrow, come next week, come next month etc.
I have also gone to some micro finance banks yet no show.
I have done everything I could as a young girl to make an honest living, but what I've been getting so far are disappointments, frustration and disillusionment, then I realized that vices /crimes, prostitution, human trafficking, robbery, political thuggery etc, will never cease in this country with the way things are moving here. What do you expect from a nation that doesn't encourage honest means of livelihood? A nation who instead of helping her youths earn an honest living will instead truncate and frustrates your efforts in that direction.

Please good people of Nairaland, I decided to throw away my pride, and beg in a public forum because I have no one else to go to.
Please do not let this my cry for help be in vain. Help me with the start up capital to embark on this journey. I know 500k is so big a money for people like us and yet so LITTLE an amount for some people.

By responding positively to my plea for help, you're not only saving a life, a family but a generation. Please support a girl in her dream of making an honest living. Even if you have to loan me the money to pay back in a few months, I will be most grateful.

You can reach me via jessicarichard183@gmail.com.
Thank you.
you would regret suicide as soon as you do it.

Believe me, there are still a lot out there waiting to make your life beautiful. I wish our youths would embrace the reality of unemployment, not just in our nation but world over. I'd advice you take up a teaching job even if it pays less than 10k to sustain yourself a little while setting your eyes on a greater goal. I had a coursemate who got into pop corn business immediately after service and it paid her well until she got married. please do not embrace a defeatist view of life and consider what could be viewed as a curse on the whole of your family the Lord will yet see you through.

However d OP had made it clear from her opening statement dat she's clearly not ready for counter opinions against epidural! This looks more like a pro-epidural thread n if u dare disagree, ur head will be chopped! I clearly have counter opinions, so i'll save myself d trouble. All in all what we wish for is a healthy mama n baby. How u chose to achieve this is entirely up to u. So pls let's be less judgemental n more open-minded. Peace.

Why do men hit their gf's/wives
well I once did and will always regret it. Before that fateful day, she used to brag that I don't hit her and I had always wanted to keep a clean sheet. Well a lot got into her head and she was bent on getting me frustrated, I tried leaving the house but she bolted the door and stood on my way out. Everything happened so fast in my bid to get her under control and the rest is history. Needless to say we made up the hours later and the sex that followed was great, but I wish I wasn't at home that day.

I think women cause over 90% of home related violence, when a man decides not to, they have their way of pushing him. You ladies can help us. I also know there are guys who see it as normal to hit the ladies, but then...

House already approved the addition of 500 daily feeding allowance thus making the monthly allowee 39800 as stated by the house... But we never expected them to start paying from october ...
But now its very confusing and shady with the rubbish statement of acct sent to us for the month of october
you guys have failed to understand that the so called feeding allowance is for those camping as against the 300 it used to be per corp member per day and has nothing to do with the monthly allowance.

https://www.premiumtimesng.com/news/headlines/170564-boko-haram-assures-adamawa-residents-of-better-security-under-its-reign.html

This has gotten severely out of hand, and I think the government needs to step up its effort in curbing this great threat to not just our survival as a nation, but a threat to national/territorial integrity.

Should the government allow this to continue, then it should expect uprising from other parts of the country who would build on the feats of the boko boys to unleash even greater terror.

I expect all Nigerians to rise up against this group. Running back to our homes and basking in the euphoria that their activities are far removed from our enclaves won't do anyone any good.

He whose neighbour's house is one fire better keep watch.

The fall of all the northern state won't satisfy them, it would only encourage them to capture the whole Nigeria. We all know where that would keep us.

Thank you.
PoliticsResidents Surviving Under Boko Haram's Reign In Captured Territory by mcdokwe(op): 6:22pm On Nov 04, 2014
Boko Haram has asked the displaced residents of communities it
took over in Adamawa state to return to their homes.
The terrorist group assured the residents of better security in the
“Islamic Caliphate than in Nigerian territories”.
A resident of Uba town, Salisu Baba, said normal activities have
started picking up in the captured territories as Boko Haram
enjoined residents to go about their normal activities and open
their shops for business.
Mr. Baba said the insurgents have assured them of security and
freedom.
He said unlike in other parts of the state where curfew has been
imposed and people prevented from riding motorcycles, the
insurgents have assured residents of free movement at anytime
of the day.
“(The terrorists) are threatening that anyone who fails to open
their shop will have it broken into,” he said.
The Deputy Governor of Borno state, Zanna Mustapha, had said
in Yola on Monday that going by the ease with which Boko
Haram was capturing territories in Adamawa, Borno and Yobe,
the three North-Eastern states would soon be history.
“If the Federal Government does not add extra effort, in the next
two to three months, the three North-Eastern states will no
longer be in existence,” he said. “The Federal Government has
tried its best but their best is not enough because rather than
going after the insurgents, it is the insurgents that are going
after us. It is a big crime that the criminals are better equipped
than the military and they are just few kilometres from the
Adamawa, Borno and Yobe states capitals.”
He said the continuous occupation of more towns by Boko
Haram had confirmed the Borno state governor’s statement that
the terrorists possessed superior weapons.
He disclosed that 13 local governments in Borno, three in
Adamawa and others in Yobe were currently under the control
of Boko Haram. He said, going by intelligence reports, if the
Federal Government did not step up its security measures the
fall of the three states would only be a matter of days or weeks.
Mr. Mustapha expressed his doubts on the purported ceasefire
agreement between the Federal Government and the terrorists.
The Borno deputy governor spoke in Yola shortly before a
former Vice President and Presidential aspirant, Atiku
Abubakar, lamented, in Abuja, the ease with which towns in the
North-East were falling into the hands of the insurgents.
Atiku wondered why the Nigerian government was unable to
overwhelm Boko Haram despite the claim by the administration
that an increase in the country’s security budget would help
relevant agencies and the military tackle the insurgency.
“The situation in which we find ourselves today is grave,” the
former vice president said. “Much of Borno, and the north of
Adamawa and Yobe states is already at the mercy of the
terrorists. It started a few months ago with Bama, which is
nearly 400 kilometres from Yola, capital of Adamawa State.
“The next major town to be taken by terrorists was Gwoza,
where a terrorist caliphate flag has long been hoisted.
Smaller towns near Gwoza such as Pulka and Limankra are
equally not free. Next was Madagali. The town is still being
occupied. Then fell Gulak. Next was Michika, then Bazza. Next
was the twin town of Uba which is half Adamawa and half
Bornu. Its neighboring town of Lassa was also overrun. Uba was
the latest town captured before the terrorists trampled on Mubi.
People from these troubled areas are now pouring into Yola for
safety.

i just spoke with a friend of mine who has been having marital challenges and she says the hubby has given her a condition for their make up - submit your salary to me at the end of every month.
i really dont like being in the middle of marital squables cos i wouldnt want anyone in mine so i told her to pray and talk it out with her husband though it did get me thinking, whats the rationale behind that condition...for men in the house who do this please enlighten me cos i dont support it.
I have come to realise some women lose sanity ones they control cash. They more often post the "I can do without you" attitude which most times irk the menfolk. So to put that in check, you make her dependent.
