SportsRe: Nigeria (4) Wallops Belgium (1) In 2008 Olympics Semi-Final by McKren(m): 12:59pm On Aug 19, 2008
The most important lesson to learn from this team is

Discipline and patriotism trumps everything else.

Lets see how Sani Lulu will justify foreign coach again. Their plot to hire Amodu so that he will fail wont work.

I have said it before lets get our ex-super eagles players to run our football

Defence Minister Adeleye for Super Eagles Captain

Such a cool and consistent player

I think this team still needs taye taiwo

But Mikel simply has no place in this team

SportsRe: Nigeria (4) Wallops Belgium (1) In 2008 Olympics Semi-Final by McKren(m): 12:10pm On Aug 19, 2008
I think Nsofor should help defensively on the left back like he did in our last match

That is why Okonkwo is exposed
SportsRe: Nigeria (4) Wallops Belgium (1) In 2008 Olympics Semi-Final by McKren(m): 11:49am On Aug 19, 2008
Every team has a weak link, Okonkwo is obviously the weaklink in this game

But the team need to increase the tempo of the game because in that situation all our defence does is to tidy loosed balls. But if we relax up front and in the midfield then defence has more problems and it exposes our errors.

I hope our boys come back from the break with the attitude with which we started the game.
SportsRe: Nigeria (4) Wallops Belgium (1) In 2008 Olympics Semi-Final by McKren(m): 11:19am On Aug 19, 2008
I love the way they start games

There is a sense of urgency from the first minute and it paid off.

Nigeria 1 Belgium 0

I dont know if we will play at the tempo and class we played against CIV

For me a win is a win, even though we win ugly . . . . . . . Just want to see our boys in the final.

My brother I prefer to play against a Good Belgium team than a weak Italian team

Italy is Italy

They play football with everything including skill, tactics, guile, rough, trickery

Vanzekin has answered his critics

Adeleye remains my player of the tournament

Our boys are simply executing a game plan

the penalty kick was emphatic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
SportsRe: Beijing 2008 Olympics Football Event: Men by McKren(m): 3:01pm On Aug 16, 2008
I hope we are able to keep our head down and do what we are doing

Our team is literarily playing without the midfield (english style), even though its not a style I would endorse . . . . . . if we win I will be happy for our boys

with little discipline, the camerounian game plan would have worked

Banning got too animated in my view
SportsRe: Beijing 2008 Olympics Football Event: Men by McKren(m): 12:10pm On Aug 16, 2008
it was obvious that banning will go

Not sure why his coach did not substitute himhuhhuh
SportsRe: Beijing 2008 Olympics Football Event: Men by McKren(m): 11:52am On Aug 16, 2008
cameroun proving once again to be Italy of Africa

I duff my heart for Alex Song though, he has been very professional and disciplined unlike Banning.
SportsRe: Beijing 2008 Olympics Football Event: Men by McKren(m): 11:07am On Aug 16, 2008
Camerounians are not smiling with the brazilians at all

Hope this match does not convert to rugby
