so u people don't know the so called "rule of law" works only when its convenient ?Nigeria has never witnessed a more selective application of the rule of law. |
Nigeria1 will show him a hospital through his google map. . . . . . . . . u guys have not heard he has a patent on those maps ??Dont worry the next moment he will start asking for Mike Adenuga's phone number. |
President Yar'adua's Government is simply imploding The creation of Niger-Delta Ministry and the "Oil war" has not shifted the Nation's attention from his lack lustre attitude to gorvenance. |
When a news organisation report unsubstantiated rumours What is the punishment? Government clampdown ?? or consumer boycott/ridicule ? |
bawomolo:HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA ROFLMAO I love this joke!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
Just wondering if we are all jumping on a band wagon of political correctness and neglecting the real issue ?Is Niger-Delta crisis a disease in itself or a symptom of a disease ![]() ![]() |
Sarah is just in skirts thats all. She does not support anything popular amongst women. |
I think its about time London, Lagos, somewhere in US |
make God help us sha But looking at the fact that energy generation through oil and gas is fast becoming politically unpopular and Nuclear energy is looking like the future of Energy Business. Should boys in places like Taraba/Benue/Cross River etc where they have Uranium deposits in large quantity start warming up to forming their own MEND ?? |
bawomolo:To be honest Asari Dokubo is not a tout, he is not in the same category as Ateke tom, prince igodo or soboma goerge. He may have had boys under his command do criminal things, but Asari himself is a natural actvist who had every opportunity to be a posh boy but chose activism. I just hope he Asari grows up and realise that what he formed is becoming too dangerous for everyone and should be terminated. |
BigB1 Yar'adua has been in office long enough to have his own record |
Cabinet reshufle is not the act of a President who wants to voluntarily resign in the next coming days!!!!! |
Ibime:I advice you not to sit in London and incite violence against your own people who live in the delta. No responsible Government wants to use the full weight of its military on its people. However no reseponsible Government will sit bye and allow renegades take over security of any part of the country either. Yes, let it be said that successive Nigerian governments have failed the Nigerian people. But there is a limit to everything, MEND is not the solution to anything. As a boy growing up on the streets of Port Harcourt if I was told there will come a time when the likes of Ateke Tom and Soboma Goerge and Prince Igodo or Dagogo will be confused as freedom fighters, I will never agree. May be that underscores how much our leaders have failed us as a people. The boys who constitute MEND are no freedom fighters. The Government of Nigeria have no moral right to use the army on our people, especially when they the Government can be blamed for people getting disillussioned. But MEND's terrorist activities will only justify a full scale military assault. Also while JTF has the difficult task of isolating MEND from the Niger-Delta people to ensure that innocent civilians are not caught in the cross fire. You sitting there and spinning this into MEND defending the Niger-Delta against the Nigerian state makes the task of JTF a lot more easier albeit clumsy. WE DONT WANT ANOTHER CIVIL WAR, THE POINT HAS BEEN MADE THAT PEOPLE ARE ANGRY. PEOPLE CAN ENGAGE IN PEACEFUL PROTESTS |
BigB1 I was told that his injuries as POW prevent him from being able to use computer. What a weak lie and another trick for the fools.I have heard that argument too. But out of curiousity, its it more difficult to hold a pen and write with an injured finger or to type on a keyboard. I don't understand how someone who out of torture can not type on a keyboard can write using a pen. John McCain is not brilliant enough to lead, he belongs to the past. The idea that such an old brash and reckless man will be the leader of the most powerful country frightens me. |
The problem with republicans is that they have a sense that it is up to them to define for everyone else what is acceptable and what is not. You know its ok to accept a dumb ass republican as President, even though the individual does not understand the economy, confused about Geography and international boundaries, thinks being neighbours with Russia qualify for National security experience. They tell u none of these is requirement for President because it is not in the constitution. But they forget that the constitution has not said u must have enrolled in the military in the past to be qualified for President nor does it state explicitly that being a community organizer is unacceptable experience to be President. |
Sam Mbakwe was a populist democratic governor of Imo State in the 2nd republic |
Well the fact that you have booked a holiday for Obama's inuaguration does not translate into votes Lets all pray that you have not mistakenly taken a day off to celebrate another Republican victory at the polls. |
God bless the man who mentioned SAM MBAKWE!!!!!!!! And we the Imo State people owe him a lot of gratitude till date |
Dont mean to be cynical But there is no proof that this Ministry will succeed any better than most ministries in Nigeria. I hope it does. |
I think this is not even enough They should stop fawning over McCain being a POW and attack him for who he really is The guy is not brilliant enough to be President He owes most of what he is today to the fact that he is from a family of Navy admirals For God sake, this guy came 894 in a Navy class of 899. Crashed 3 planes during navy cadet training. It is no rocket science to figure out why he thinks Pakistan and Iran share boarders, its no rocket science to figure out why he thinks Putin is the President of Germany and admits not to understand anything about the economy. For John McCain Czechoslovakia still exists in 2008 . . . . . . and the list goes on. John McCain is a brash, reckless old man, and the fact that the american public are supporting him so much so that he has a chance tells you that most Americans are as Ignorant as most of us in Africa. |
I wish him every luck, I hope he succeeds. He will surely be Super Eagles coach someday. Those who put Amodu simply put someone who may fail as super eagles coach so that they will re-invogorate the argument for a foreign coach where they make more money. But Siasia has shown that the future of Nigerian football lies in the hands of our ex-players who had all the exposure as players. |
Tpia Congrats for spinning what you are saying out of what you actually meant. I don't have time for so much post today. But even your new argument is silly. The idea that all those who married those who speak their own language are not qualified to be President of Nigeria is ridiculous. I am not decieved though because only a kid will buy your new argument as to be what you actually meant. |
Nigeria is in trouble The way the youths of this country think tells you we are probably living over a gun powder waiting to explode someday ??What does having to be half igbo or married to someone who is'nt Igbo mean ![]() not sure where that argument comes from ? |
Raimond:He was my candidate, but our country was simply not hopeful enough. |
Power sharing arrangement is the only sensible thing that has come out of PDP so far. I dont think anybody in the East is bothered whether it takes 100years, what we are more concerned is to hold our Governors to work for the people. The IBBs and co who have been Presidents for so long does not mean Niger State is far better than any other state in Naija. But surely Presidency will get to the south east someday. |
He may be a hypocrite, but the truth does not turn into lies because it was spoken by a hypocrite Yar'adua has no business being in Aso Rock, he has no clue what it is all about I hope the supreme court will spear us this stress and sack this administration. |
jydewalker:I understand you source of happiness, but I don't know if this is good news or not. Because nobody knows if this is simply one group out maneuvering the other in the aso rock power game where unfortunately there is no leader. Yar'adua has not even addressed the Nation to tell us whether he is ok or not, and Bingo!!!!! Babagana Kingibe sacked. How do we know it is actually Yaradua sacking Kingibe.?? |
I have learnt not to celebrate anything from Presidency these days, because you never know whether it is the President signing off these others or the person closest to his sick bed. |
What may have won this match for us is history Our boys no play anything |
The attack line of the olympic team is better off by far This team lack creativity |
nuzo:He has always been the real target Those other 139 officers demoted were demoted because of Ribadu, now they are selectively promoting those who had no issues with them. You know they claimed those 139 officers were demoted because their promotion caused disillusion within the ranks of the police. Not sure how this latest U-Turn motivates anyone ??You know what ? Ribadu is not loosing any sleep, they can demote him to supritendant if they like. President Yar'adua's administration has no shame. Where is Micheal Aondoakaa and co I don't know why they are not fixing the President's health ? |
cola:President Yar'adua is not running Nigeria with the compassion of a sick man I am sorry to say it, but so long as he remains in office while sick he deserves no pity or prayers of anybody. |
