Romance / Re: In Between Two Ladies And A Job by mcnikes(m): 4:24pm On Jul 21, 2012
First off, your story doesnt sound so true. No firm has a single person as the HR ulnless you mean she's the head of the HR unit.
If its true, my advice to you is take the job first and after you've taken it, you'll be shocked to find out that the HR lady may not have enough say over your job security if your input is evident in the company. She herslf reports to someone in that establishment. She also has a boss.
So, take the job and ditch her later.
Just pray that she's not the acid-bathing kind.

Politics / The Strength Of Our Police Force! by mcnikes(m): 9:40am On Jan 09, 2012
Imagine a country of over 140million having a police force of about 300,000. Out of which i believe over 80% of these police officers are illiterate. When there are graduates roaming the streets. Graduates that can bring finesse to policing in Nigeria. They know the police is understaffed yet when the NPF recruits, they politicise it.
I think a true federal structure should be adopted, where states can run their police departments.
What do you think?

Romance / Re: Horrible Romance by mcnikes(m): 5:21pm On Oct 14, 2011
@OP, If you were so intelligent afterall, you should also know that two adverbs, "horribly wrongly", are not used together without a comma. And don't end sentences, the way you used them.

Vicjustice:

I've observed that the majority of Nigerians do not know the Romance Languages:
They use these words or terminologies horribly wrongly

*   Flirt: this word that it supposed to represent something elegant, classy and charming (as its definition suggests: talk or behave amorously-in sexy manners, without serious intentions) has been nastily misused and abused into slanderous meanings that now represents LovePeddler and pr0stitution; how often do we hear a guy saing, "I can never marry a woman who flirts around"

*   Come for C'um: How ridiculous it is to hear a Nigerian saying "I came inside her"

Going by the true definition of a flirt, if someone says he doesn't want to marry a woman that flirts around, i do not think its wrong. There is no clear limit to the level of amorous acting one can engage in. Flirtin means acting amorously without serious intentions, and someone can take the art of flirting to the point of actually sleeping around. Check the true definition of AMOROUS.
Also Cum and Come can be used interchangeably. Check the definition of cum and try to read it to the end. You'll see something like "also Come". Meaning that Cum and Come mean the same.
I agree with the Poster on the rest.
@OP try and check your facts well before you act like a know-it-all.

Romance / Re: Is It Cruel? by mcnikes(m): 12:43pm On Jun 28, 2011
@OP judging by what you said, your line of action is the best thing that any sane, ambitious and responsible person would take. Don't even think of staying and praying he changes, such characters do not just go. A leopard doesn't change its spots overnight. It'll take a great deal of seriousness on his part to quit such extravagant and free spending lifestyle.
Leave his sorry a$$ and move on. Don't let him cajole you into marriage. You'd live the rest of your life in regret.
Business / Re: Expect Hard Economic Decisions - Jonathan. Why? by mcnikes(m): 12:30pm On Jun 28, 2011
@OP you should know that good policies are always aimed at achieving long term goals. At the start such policies may appear arbitrary but in the end it always brings abt SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT. And that is what Nigeria needs. The kind of development that is consistent, beneficial and sustainable. If GEJ promises us that he's going to do just that, all we can do is trust our confidence in him that led us to vote him into power!
You should have listened to the whole of that speech and not hear a part of it and jump out to come and talk rubbish on nairaland. He was trying to promote consumption of Proudly Nigerian goods and services.
Romance / Re: She deliberatley Got Pregnant For Him by mcnikes(m): 4:25pm On Jun 24, 2011
Ask your friend to trick his way out of this r/ship. Cunning (trickish) man die, cunning man bury am. As for the girl, She'll trickishly keep the pregnancy or trickishly abort it. Either way. But i'll advise that she sticks to the former, cos if she picks the latter, God will trickishly punish her.
